the value of these necessities is much greater than normal, so prices should go way up. Then folks could get what they need. If it were legal to charge $10 or $12/gal for gas, folks would drive tankers all night through horible conditions to get where the need is, sell gas right from the truck. If i could buy a generator and gas at an inflated price to run a generator so i could boil water on a hot plate and keep my family warm, I would be delighted in these conditions. Making supply/demand illegal harms those in great need.

Everybody's car should have been full right before the hurricane hit so I don't understand how they're all on empty 3 days later. And 1 or 2 of those days they weren't able to really go anywhere. I understand gas for generators but what I'm seeing is people fueling their gas tanks. I have no sympathy for people who won't take even minimal precautions when they're in the path of a hurricane.

Have an emergency kit with several days supply of food and water. for those of you that say you can't afford it, do without the Latte' and data plan for a few months and purchase one. The east coast had enough notice to do what is right. Plan your day, a month in advance, change plans as required.

#1 - that's what we - the resident's of the New Jersey Shore are asking.
No FEMA, no Red Cross, no gasoline, no electricity, no heat, no cell phone service, NOTHING. The looting is out of control. I'm posting this via our library's computer, which has remained open all night so that residents can email family members, etc.

It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. BOISE, Idaho — Authorities in eastern Idaho are investigating the shooting deaths of two men and a woman whose bodies were found in a home that contained a marijuana grow operation. The deaths took place sometime between Thursday afternoon and evening by someone who had some type of relationship with the victims, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said. The bodies were discovered Friday outside Holbrook, a town of about 400 people just north of the Idaho-Utah state line. Authorities said a 2-month-old was found under the arm of one of the victims — 27-year-old Yavette Chivon Carter.

As freshwater glaciers melt, cold water sinks into the ocean, keeping the sea colder than it would otherwise be.
