Obama's Unprecedented Collapse
Among Catholic Voters
Puts Midwest in Play

Breitbart's Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:ScarletPimpernel, 11/1/2012 8:57:47 PM

Yesterday, the Romney campaign told reporters that it expected to win at least some of the “blue states” in which it is now competing with Obama in the Midwest, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The campaign did not give a specific reason for its optimism, but one thing these states have in common is a high proportion of Catholic voters. And Catholic voters have shifted dramatically towards Mitt Romney. In September, the left and the media were exultant when the Pew poll seemed to show a surge for Obama among Catholic voters. He led by fifteen points, 54-39.

Comments:
Americans are a religious people. We don't like it when tyrants trample on our rights.

What Obama cannot understand is that there are Laws (by government) and Laws of the Catholic Church. There are the 10 Commandments, not the 10 suggestions.
He pitted government Law against Church Law . Thou shalt not kill.

It's hard to imagine how any believing Catholic voted for or thought about voting for 0bama. He would let a live baby die after a botched abortion - a viewpoint that I'm sure the devil himself agrees with completely.

Watch for the heads to explode all over television on electon night when Romney takes .... ILLINOIS!

Irish Catholics. Italian Catholics. Polish Catholics. Hispanic Catholics. Put them all together and what do you have? Chicago. Add to them the black ministers who are absolutely furious over gay marriage and who have never paid any attention to the prohibition against polticking from the pulpit. Unless Obama carries Chicago in a HUGE way, even bigger than 2008, the tsunami of Romney votes that will come in from suburban Cook County and the rest of Illinois will deliver Illinois to Romney. And if Rahm wants to have any chance of staying mayor to work for Hillary in 2016, he will step aside and let Obama take the loss.

This is gonna be fun. Everybody's gonna freak.

I'd love to have my vote for POTUS count for once, but I think you're underestimating the power of the Democrat Party. Emperor Madigan can use the most blatant methods to stuff the ballot box, secure in the knowledge his lovely daughter, the Attorney General, and Patrick Fitzgerald will turn a blind eye to it all.

Pelosi and Biden, as well as other CINO politicians have excommunicated themselves. We the people would like to see a public excommunication or words uttered by a bishop in effect excommunicating them. Doubt that will happen. Just know they are no longer members of the Catholic church...unless they repent.

Why ANY card carrying Catholic would vote for a pro-abortion, anti conventional marriage candidate is beyond me.

Reply 10 - Posted by: berthabutt, 11/1/2012 11:26:36 PM     (No. 8981226)

Letters going out this weekend to Catholics by several brave Bishops that voting for any candidate that promote legislative actions against the moral teaching of the Church is sinful; abortion, contraceptive mandates, same sex marriage, & euthanasia. And Cardinal Burke affirmed his stand from Rome that those public servants professing to be practicing Catholics and supporting same are to be considered non-good standing Catholics until those public stances are reversed. No more waiting quietly for those vultures of the culture of death to find remorse!

As far as I am concerned. Mark Sanford’s win over Curtis Bostic in South Carolina’s First Congressional District GOP runoff represents an unanswered prayer. Sanford continues to combine his mastery of therapeutic psychobabble with an ill-fitting Christian overlay that should be a dead giveaway, as Sanford himself all but acknowledged last night. Sanford is, of course, on a journey of discovery — make that a very long journey, involving the false modesty of the royal we: “It’s been a very long journey. Dr. Carson became a media sensation in January when he questioned Obamacare and progressive taxation in a speech to the National Prayer Breakfast as President Obama sat just a few feet away from him. With his new prominence, Carson has apparently also riled some liberals, including these Johns Hopkins students.

Of all the arguments public-school advocates have used to hoodwink generations of parents into condemning their own children to years of state-controlled subservience training, one of the most successful is that without public schools, children cannot be properly "socialized," and will therefore be ill-prepared for life in the "real world." [Snip] The basic premise of the argument for public schools as necessary tools of socialization is that learning to get along, or fit in, with children one´s own age is a vital life skill. Is it?

The mysterious disappearance of about 30 dogs in southern Idaho has baffled animal control officials and raised concerns among dog lovers after a German shepherd was found with its head crushed in a suspected ritual killing. The missing canines range widely in size, breed and age. "The dogs seem to vanish into thin air," said Debbie Blackwood, director of the animal shelter in Twin Falls, Idaho. Officials say some 30 dogs have gone missing in recent months in Twin Falls and nearby communities in an agricultural region in south-central Idaho known as the Magic Valley.

Not since 1984 and the landslide victory of Ronald Reagan have the Republicans had a more winnable election than the 2012 presidential election. Yet the Republican Establishment managed to lose to the worst and most vulnerable President in modern history, with historically poor approval ratings, unemployment averaging over 8.7% during his entire first term, a stagnant economy and someone who ran the smallest and most absurd of all possible re-election campaigns.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
