| A rare and unexpected phone interview with a longtime D.C. political operative suggests that while momentum has shifted slightly toward Barack Obama over the last few days, Mitt Romney remains the likely winner of next week’s election – so long as the Obama team is not successful in their attempts to steal it. UM: Did you read the latest update from -deleted- ? (WSI) WHI: Yeah-yeah. Whatever. He don’t know…all due respect. He don’t know sh-t about how this stuff works. He didn’t even vote. Ever. Any momentum that Obama might get from this horrible storm is going to hit a wall tomorrow when this Benghazi thing hits the fan. More and more information is leaking out and now CBS and NBC are covering it (finally). Obama is going to have to answer questions and won't get away with saying it's under investigation. Romney should also be talking about it to keep it alive and to force Obama to deal with the questions. It will NOT help him!

White House Insider has a real potty mouth, I kinda, sorta think it's BJ. At least Wall Street Insider has some class in his narrative. It is surprising after all the pooh poohing, how much of what they and the Military Insider have said, has come to pass. Let's keep praying and vote to overcome the fraud.

0bama doesn't have any momentum around here at all. In fact, people don't want any more of his failed policies and theatrical shtik. Even strangers, including an appliance repairman today, to a lunch waitress and even our dentist and a dental technician yesterday, as well as a doctor last week, EVERYONE seems to make a special point of speaking out against 0bama's dismal record and what he has done to, NOT for, this country throughout the past 4 years.
Everyone, from perfect strangers to family & friends, is discussing this election and its vital importance for the USA. We just have never before heard so many around here so eager to talk about any election. ...It is THAT important to elect Romney/Ryan!!!

I have to agree with #4, 6, and 7. I would never have thought that a site such as "UR" would be considered a legitimate news source here. Although I enjoy reading the site, I wonder how this so-called insider has been able to get away with revealing so much information for so long without someone in the WH catching on to his (?) identity. Will he reveal himself after the election if 0bama loses? Surely the WH is aware of UR, no?

Between the gutter language, swamp rat terms, ("boy") and syntax, my guess also is that snake-faced weasel, Carville.
Remember the line we learned as children, 'cheaters never prosper'? I believe it. Money doesn't always equate with prosperity, as a passel of formerly flush, endzone strutting sports heros could attest.
Much evil has been done by the likes of Carville and Clinton, and they owe their country a lot more than they've given. Turning out whatever info they know on Obama is the least they could do.

This report says "longtime DC political operative", which could easily be Carville. I admit it reads just like him, and has the perspective someone like him would have. If so, I like him immensely more than I did before I read this story.
But who is the Old Man? He's Jewish, I gather from the end of the conversation, and "not long for this world". Also, this Carville-type person says he doesn't understand the inner workings of politics...I think Bill Clinton does, in addition to which he's not Jewish (if they were being serious). Anybody got any ideas?

With the Boston Marathon bombings less than 24 hours old, some on Capitol Hill are beginning to say the attack shows why Congress should’ve stopped automatic spending cuts from taking hold in March. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), speaking to reporters Tuesday morning, said the bombings are “clearly another place where it demonstrates why having the ability to address security concerns is important.” Hoyer added: “I think there are multiple reasons for ensuring that we invest in our security both domestic and international security. In the aftermath of Monday’s horrific events at the Boston Marathon, only one thing is certain — for the next week or so, our television screens will be filled with a creature known as the “terrorism expert.” But what exactly is a “terrorism expert” and what qualifies one to be one? Operational knowledge of an AK-47? Intimate familiarity with the Damascus bazaar? Fluency in Arabic? (But that would be profiling, wouldn’t it?) CNN has its own in-house terrorism expert in Peter Bergen, aka their “national security analyst.” Mr. Bergen popped up on Jake Tapper’s The Lead

Hunters should look to the skies, but not for canvasback ducks or fair weather. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals will soon acquire “impressive new weapons to combat those who gun down deer and doves.” The animal-rights group plans to invest in airborne drones armed with video cameras, aiming to collect damning video footage of “any illegal activity, including drinking while in the possession of a firearm,” or evidence of maiming animals or use of spotlights and feed lures. On the potential shopping list: a remote-controlled CineStar Octocopter. “The talk is usually about

Sen. Marco Rubio’s plan for a 10- to 13-year path to citizenship for illegal immigrants is “consistent” with President Obama’s principles, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Monday. Mr. Carney’s comment suggested the president would sign off on the plan, but he cautioned that the White House would withhold support for any legislation until seeing the final language. Mr. Carney did say that the details of Mr. Rubio’s plan as reported so far are “consistent with the president’s position.” Mr. Rubio said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union with Candy Crowley” that an immigration reform plan

The Senate’s Gang of Eight on Tuesday released the details of a broad agreement to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws. The legislation would give provisional legal status to an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants and put them on a pathway to citizenship but only after a list of criteria for securing the U.S.-Mexico border are achieved. It sets goals of persistent surveillance in high-risk areas along the Southern border — sectors where more than 30,000 individuals are apprehended trying to enter the country illegally per year — and a 90-percent effectiveness rate for apprehensions in high-risk sectors.

We did not have to reach out to the president. The president reached out to us," Warren said at the news conference updating the investigation into the terror attack at the Boston Marathon. Although no group has claimed responsibility for Monday’s deadly bomb blasts at the Boston Marathon, a leading al-Qaeda ideologue last year recommended that jihadists in America include sporting events in their list of prospective terror targets. Writing in the online magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Inspire, the terrorist known as Abu Musab al-Suri listed what he called “the most important enemy targets.” Al-Suri contended that civilians should be targeted “when responding to a brutal practice carried out by America and her allied forces.” “This is done by targeting human

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

In light of the explosions that have rocked Boston on Patriots’ Day, during the city’s annual marathon, NBC reporter Luke Russert took to Twitter to speculate that today’s horrific events could possibly be related to the 1993 government siege on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas — an incident often attached to conversations about “right-wing terrorism” and anti-government violence. “I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993. Speculating on possible link,” Russert tweeted following the explosions.

Is media bias to blame for lack of Gosnell coverage? Or something far more banal? The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.

She accused Bush of being unavailable to the American people for the “first couple weeks” after the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The Saudi Arabian man who is reportedly in police custody following the Boston Marathon bombing was chased and tackled by bystanders shortly after the blast, according to CBS. Senior correspondent John Miller, a former assistant director of the FBI, reported this: There is an individual in custody … he is not free to go. There is an individual in custody … he is not free to go. He is a Saudi national who was near the scene of the blast. When the blast happened he began to run.
