Romney's Secret Voting Bloc

| You've heard about Mitt Romney's problems with the women's vote, the black vote, the Hispanic vote, the union vote and the young Democrats vote. But there's one major voting group that's fallen off the map since the primaries. The evangelical vote. When Mitt Romney's 2012 candidacy was gaining traction in the primaries, the conventional wisdom instantly conveyed that the evangelical vote, skeptical of Mormonism, would sink him. What if in Ohio next week the opposite is true? There and in other swing states—Wisconsin, Iowa, North Carolina, Florida—the evangelical vote is flying beneath

Comments: Rush is discussing this now. They vastly underestimate the number and impact of these people at their own peril. The Chick-fil-A matter was just a small example of how they will come out.

We'll be there for Mitt. Our pastor as much as endorsed him last Sunday, and he worked directly with Franklin and Billy Graham on that blockbuster ad. Mitt's a Mormon? So what? We're not electing a pastor, and I'll take LDS in a President over anti-American, racist Black Liberation Theology any day.

I am an evangelical and so are most of my neighbors who also have Romney signs. My daughter, who was more concerned about the Mormonism then I was, decided that first that Obama was who knows what anyway so why not Romney. She has come around to being a big Romney supporter, particularly after the debates and also after the Benghazi incident.

I am an evangelical Christian. I am not voting for a man to be my spiritual savior; I already have one. I am looking for a man of character and morals who is able to handle the business of governing this great nation based upon his many years of success in both the financial and political arena. Mitt Romney is that man.

It never bothered me one bit that Romney is a Mormon. He's devoted to his faith and it honest about it. He is a man who will listen to God and be guided by God and I think that is exactly what this great country needs at the moment.

While both Catholics and Evangelicals may dispute Mormon theology they admire the virtuous way so many Mormons live. They also understand that Mormons believe in the free exercise of religion as defined in the constitution as opposed to that freedom to worship that Obama likes to boast about. Freedom to talk only to fellow members of your faith within the four walls of your church is no freedom at all.
The Catholic Church has been extremely active. I've received three copies so far of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops guide to casting an informed vote. Many parishes are participating in the Forty Days for Life vigils that ends this Sunday. To reinforce this our pastor has offered sermons that have included the comment that while reasonable men may disagree on how best to help those in need being against the right to life issues is an automatic disqualifies a candidate from consideration. Voting for such a person endangers the immortal soul.

I hate to say it this way but The evangelical vote would almost vote for Lucifer rather than have Obie come back, So Mitt is a far better choice!
You can also rest assured these rigged polls don't call evangelicals, and, even if they did they wouldn't give the pollsters the time of day.
This a private matter for most people and why the polls are totally wrong when they say Obie is leading anywhere but a solid Dim area.

Left-wing magazine Mother Jones made news this week with a report based on a secret recording of a Feb. 2 meeting of Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell with campaign strategists. Federal and state law prohibits publication of information acquired through secret recording, but a 2001 Supreme Court ruling gives publishers like Mother Jones a get-out-of-jail-free card. But whoever taped the private conversation can’t wiggle off the hook so easily. Whoever bugged the meeting room or secretly placed a recording device will be in serious legal trouble — unless he or she was one of the strategists.

A Michigan high school canceled a speech by former Sen. Rick Santorum after teachers became outraged over his opposition to gay marriage and threatened to stage protests and a possible work stoppage. Santorum had been invited to deliver a upcoming speech on leadership by the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Gross Pointe South High School. But the speech was canceled on Monday after the school district’s superintendent heard from angry teachers. “It’s a sad day when liberal educators are allowed to influence young minds – extending free speech rights only to those who share their liberal views,” Santorum said

At a press conference on the matter Tuesday, reporters pressed him on what was said about his presumed opponent in next year´s senate race, actress Ashley Judd. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

President Obama´s push to pass stricter gun control laws will cost Democrats in the 2014 midterm elections, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Wednesday. "I think the president has shown he is willing to demagogue an issue and that it is ultimately going to backfire," Cruz said in an interview on Laura Ingraham´s radio show. Cruz´s comments come as Congress debates passing a set of gun control measures meant to reduce gun violence and prevent shooting massacres similar to the one at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

During Barack Obama´s presidency there have been 32 background checks for gun purchases every minute. Since February of 2009, the first full month of Obama´s presidency, there have been 70,291,049 background checks for gun purchases, according to data released by the FBI. Using February 1, 2009 as our starting date, and March 31, 2013 as our end date, (the latest data from the FBI) Obama has been president for 1,520 days. That equates to 36,480 hours, or 2,188,800 minutes. Divide the 70,291,049 background checks by 2,188,800 minutes and you get approximately 32 checks for gun purchases every minute!

As he rolls out his fiscal 2014 budget on Wednesday, a new survey finds that Americans haven’t felt this confident about President Obama’s handling of the economy since his first year in office. The Gallup poll, which sampled more than 1,000 Americans, found that 57 percent say they have a “great deal or a fair amount of confidence” in Mr. Obama to do the right thing on the economy. That’s up from just 50 percent last year and hasn’t been this high since it hit 71 percent in 2008. Trust in congressional Republicans, on the other hand, remains low.

The media is all abuzz with Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy these days: she fat? Should she really be wearing leather pants while pregnant? What is that cape-like thing she wore the other week? Is she lying about her delivery date? Is she lying about her pregnancy? Why did she wear that dress that made people compare her to an orca whale? All of these are very valid questions, but bring to light another issue: Isn’t there some one else who’s also pregnant right now? Some one who is substantially more important than Kim Kardashian?

Campus Reform broke the story and confirmed that officials at the public, taxpayer-supported school launched an investigation after receiving a student’s official complaint last week. According to the complaint, the professor, Jennifer Yucus, required students to produce posters in opposition to certain gun-friendly legislation currently making its way through the Texas state legislature.

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight.
