If this doesn't turn us back to Him, then surely nothing will. The question on every reporter, politician, pastor, rabbi, bishop, leader, and individual's mind should be, What does He want us to do? Instead we ask, what do We want to do?
I Belieive that He longs for us to turn to Him, and that He will continue to send tribulations to us, each stronger than the previous one, until we do. Remember the World Trade Center only physically affected downtown New York City. Sandy has spread for 1000 miles.
I'd rather repent and stop the tribulations than 'have it my way' and wait to see what will come next.

The left would have you believe the Selective Blue Storm is somehow a function of "Romney's Global Warming." I say vote to take GOD out of your party platform three times....then fail to give aid and support to our righteous patriots on the front lines @ Benghazi....3x and next you get an Act of God. The mainstream media no longer has the luxury of ignoring Benghazi. Nor can they brush it off as another Watergate type of scandal: nobody died by drowning or other means at Watergate. The emergence of the whistle blowers has made the story too big to ignore, as much as the media would prefer it would go away. You will note that when it wasn’t until after their beloved Obama was safely ensconced in the White House for another four years did the media show any interest in the biggest story of the administration.

Speaking to a captive audience of young minds made up of mostly high school and college students—his trademark age group home and abroad—Obama delivered his address at the iconic National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. We’ll never know for sure whether Saudi Arabia really did warn the USA in writing about the terrorist attack intentions of one Tamerlan Tsarnaev, but we do know that President Barack Obama slept through the slaughter in Benghazi. “A senior Saudi government official told Daily Mail that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012. The welfare state now matches lax immigration policy in enabling terrorism. And in the case of suspected terrorists in the Tsarnaev family it took 10 years for the public to find out. Easy for bombers to learn their terrorism trade when the families that house them can depend on monthly social assistance checks supplemented by food stamps. Wonder if the Tsarnaev boys or their parents had free Obama cell phones?Wonder if any of them cast a vote for President Barack Obama? What with amateur boxing and partying, no paper routes or neighbour grass cutting for the Tsarnaevs.

A bomb-making manual, written in Arabic and published less than two months ago, made its rounds on sites used by Muslim terrorists worldwide. The manual provides specific instructions on the best methods of packaging a bomb using a pressure cooker. Previously, the English language Muslim terrorist magazine published under the name Inspire carried similar instructions, although the instructions contained within this newest manual appear to be far more advanced by comparison.

Northwestern University continued to stumble over diversity issues this week as Mexican students voiced disagreement with a campuswide letter that advised students not to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by engaging in racially-offensive activities, such as eating tacos and drinking tequila. British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. Fans of Glenn Beck are complaining about what I wrote yesterday about his speech at the National Rifle Association convention, where he used a giant image of Michael Bloomberg photoshopped into what appeared to be an image of Hitler with his arm raised in a Nazi salute and wearing an armband. The Beck crowd now tells me that it wasn’t Hitler’s picture into which the New York mayor was transposed but that of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin. They say that means I owe Beck an apology along with the Anti-Defamation League and others who were also outraged by it.

John McCain is going to release a bill that would dismantle cable as it´s currently constructed, Brenden Sasso at The Hill reports. The legislation would force cable companies and satellite TV providers to give consumers an option to pick and choose which channels they get. This is called "à la carte programming," and it´s long been a dream of consumers who only want a handful of channels. McCain tried to introduce similar legislation in 2006 and it went nowhere.
