| Young American men continue to slip through a terrorist recruiting pipeline from the homeland to join the ranks of jihadists half a world away in East Africa, with two going as recently as three months ago, according to federal officials. The FBI confirmed a report by Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) that in July two young men disappeared from their neighborhoods in Minneapolis and are believed to have traveled to Somalia to join al-Shabaab, the embattled al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group. I'm still a little hazy on why we are importing all these Stone age Somali, and other uneducated third world people into the country. I've not been aware of a high demand for goat herders or roof thatchers.
I would like to think that our immigration system would be set up to find the best and brightest around the world. People who would come here and benefit our country. Not go straight on the dole. Scientists and engineers for example.
I hope that one of President Romney's early priorities is fixing this insane immigration situation.

Is there any extra demographic information at all? ANYTHING else we could use to maybe profile a little and have a heads up about people doing this sort of thing? Do the perpetrators fall into ANY category at all that we can filter on?
Or are these just random American men fitting no discernable pattern?

We're importing these stone age people because the great father of the demonrat party, Ted Kennedy the drunk, managed to get immigration preference changed from the highly educated, more self-sufficient (at the time) Europeans to the welfare entitled middle eastern countries on the premise of diversity. Isn't diversity great? Anybody seen any improvement from 'diversity' other than expanding crime, welfare rolls and gimme programs?

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. Fifty-five percent of those surveyed, per CBS News’ early exit polling released by radio station WKZO in Kalamazoo, Mich., said Obama’s handling of the storm was a minor factor in their vote or wasn’t a factor at all. As expected, the presidential race is tight in Ohio, where the polls just closed: President Obama is winning women 55 percent to 44 percent in the early CBS News exit poll, while Mitt Romney is leading 52 percent to 46 percent among men. Women made up 51 percent of the electorate, compared to 49 percent among women. Thirty-nine percent of voters so far identified themselves as Democrats, compared to 30 percent calling themselves Republican. The Patrick administration clamped down the lid yesterday on Herald requests for details of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s government benefits, citing the dead terror mastermind’s right to privacy. Across the board, state agencies flatly refused to provide information about the taxpayer-funded lifestyle for the 26-year-old man and his brother and accused accomplice Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
