Gallup: Romney Up 52-45%
Among Early Voters

Bretbart's Big-Government, by John Nolte

Original Article

Very early on, before this campaign started in earnest, live or die, I publicly cast my lot with Gallup and Rasmussen. As a poll addict going back to 2000, these are the outlets that have always played it straight. It's got nothing to do with politics and everything to do with credibility and not wanting to kid myself. So when an outlet like Gallup tells me Romney is up seven-points, 52-45%, among those who have already voted, that's very big news. Just as Gallup did with their bombshell survey showing that 2012 is looking like a year where Republicans will enjoy a record three-point turnout advantage over

I voted on Saturday. There were long lines at the library in Florida where I voted. Many in line said they could not wait to rid the country of its corrupt president and his buddies. I think its going to be a landslide!

Fine, but I still think it's wrong to be counting and telling what the votes are before the actual election. However, I'm guessing the original plan was that it would be good for Dems to do so. In which case....HA!

They forgot to mention Romney's lead is larger than expected.

I'm sure Obama's hastily put together second term pamphlet is clogging up a lot of toilets.

I just hope nobody puts nails on the runway of Obama's plane headed back to Chicago.

All along the Dims claims of superiority among the early voters seems to have been based on the early voters' registrations. Being registered as a Dim is no guarantee of a vote for Obama. Especially this time around.

I'm going to feel sick until next Wednesday. And then? If Obama wins I don't know if I'll have the strength to go to work. I mean, what would be the point?

Is this the "strong lead" that the White House has been touting?

I know it's going to be a landslide because in my family alone there are three first time voters, my wife and 2 young adult kids who will cast their votes for Romney. And we're in California mind you!

While other local elected officials have warned about Guam´s own "fiscal cliff" recently, the governor said he´s been warning the island about the very same problem for years. "I´ve seen this ´cliff´ coming for years, I hate to say I told you so, but I told everyone so," Gov. Eddie Calvo said. "I don't think there's any surprises coming from me in that regard," Calvo said, recalling that several years ago when he was chairman of the legislative finance committee, he had warned about the local government spending beyond its means. The race for Ohio’s Electoral College votes remains very close, but now Mitt Romney now has a two-point advantage. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Ohio Voters shows Romney with 50% support to President Obama’s 48%. One percent (1%) likes some other candidate, while another one percent (1%) remains undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Ohio remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Electoral College Projections. Based on the current projections, Romney would have to win Wisconsin if he loses Ohio in order to move into the

Before getting to the speech itself, it’s worth noting a few things. When the Democrats passed and Barack Obama signed Obamacare, the majority opposed it. About 56%, in fact. A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The Obama administration touted 7 million sign-ups by March 31 as “success.” When that goal appeared to be unreachable, the administration suggested that maybe 5 or 6 million would be enough. Now, as if by magic, they have their number. Somehow. All along, the administration has touted false numbers of enrollees. All along, the administration has neglected to admit that Obamacare is

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – President Obama compared the Republican budget plan to a "stinkburger" or "meanwich" during a speech here Wednesday, using a series of zingers in an attempt to strike a contrast with the GOP on economic issues in an election year. In a speech to an enthusiastic crowd of 1,400 at the University of Michigan, Obama repeatedly mocked Republican ideas about how to improve the economy, as he touted his own proposal to raise the minimum wage. Obama, who visited the local Zingerman´s deli before the speech, said that Republican proposals to cut taxes for wealthier Americans and

The North Carolina State Board of Elections has found thousands of instances of voter fraud in the state, thanks to a 28-state crosscheck of voter rolls. Initial findings suggest widespread election fraud. 765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election. 35,750 voters with the same first and last name and DOB were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in both states in the 2012 general election. 155,692 voters

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better.´ But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged Rose Garden appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night. Others were already insured, including millions who lost coverage when their existing policies were suddenly

Big changes could be just down the road for North Carolina drivers. A proposal is in the works that would change the state tax system to charge drivers by the mile, instead of at the gas pump. The proposal would be to charge a half cent per mile for cars, which would generate almost $500 million in annual state revenue. A driver who travelled 15,000 miles in a year would pay about $75. "Basically you pay per the mile. It´s treating transportation as a utility, much like your water and sewer," said Larry Goode, with the Institute of Transportation Research and

Sources on the ground in Benghazi during the 2012 terror attack are pushing back hard on former CIA acting director Mike Morell´s testimony on Capitol Hill, where he defended his role in shaping the administration´s narrative and claimed politics were not involved. As part of Morell´s testimony on Wednesday, the former acting and deputy CIA director acknowledged that he overruled the guidance of the top CIA officer in Libya at the time. That official told Morell the attack was not an "escalation of protests," but Morell said he had to weigh that against analysts who concluded the opposite. He ultimately went

With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is "looking" at banning the sale of tobacco at military installations. According to one military publication, Hagel appears to support it. "As the Navy considers banning tobacco sales on all bases and ships, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel gave a strong endorsement of the review Monday, and suggested that he would be in favor of a ban," reports Stars and Stripes. “I don’t know if there’s anybody in America who still thinks that tobacco is good for you,” Stars and Stripes quotes Hagel as saying. “We don’t allow smoking in any of our government buildings. Sarah Palin continues to act in ways that confirm some of the more negative things said about her. For example, she’s taken to Facebook to attack the most recent budget plan by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.(Snip)Whatever differences Ms. Palin may have with the Ryan plan–and perhaps she’ll take the time to offer an actual critique of if rather than a Facebook entry with lots of upper case words–it’s hardly a joke.
