| Very early on, before this campaign started in earnest, live or die, I publicly cast my lot with Gallup and Rasmussen. As a poll addict going back to 2000, these are the outlets that have always played it straight. It's got nothing to do with politics and everything to do with credibility and not wanting to kid myself. So when an outlet like Gallup tells me Romney is up seven-points, 52-45%, among those who have already voted, that's very big news. Just as Gallup did with their bombshell survey showing that 2012 is looking like a year where Republicans will enjoy a record three-point turnout advantage over

I voted on Saturday. There were long lines at the library in Florida where I voted. Many in line said they could not wait to rid the country of its corrupt president and his buddies. I think its going to be a landslide!

Fine, but I still think it's wrong to be counting and telling what the votes are before the actual election. However, I'm guessing the original plan was that it would be good for Dems to do so. In which case....HA!

They forgot to mention Romney's lead is larger than expected.
I'm sure Obama's hastily put together second term pamphlet is clogging up a lot of toilets.
I just hope nobody puts nails on the runway of Obama's plane headed back to Chicago.

All along the Dims claims of superiority among the early voters seems to have been based on the early voters' registrations. Being registered as a Dim is no guarantee of a vote for Obama. Especially this time around.

I know it's going to be a landslide because in my family alone there are three first time voters, my wife and 2 young adult kids who will cast their votes for Romney. And we're in California mind you!

On the final day of campaigning before the election, President Obama ended his day at an evening rally in Des Moines, Iowa. Earlier on Monday, he spent the day touring the battleground states of Wisconsin and Ohio. Des Moines is where his 2008 campaign for president began. The President will spend election day in Chicago. At the final event at the Des Moines East Village, the President was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and Bruce Springsteen.

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
