Michelle: President Wasn't 'Pointing

First Lady Michelle Obama said Friday that her husband, President Barack Obama, was not “pointing fingers” and blaming anyone for the economic crisis happening when he took office. But one day before, on Thursday, Obama blamed the policies of “the previous president” for the ongoing weak economy. Appearing at a Las Vegas campaign stop on Friday, Mrs. Obama said that the president did not blame anyone else for the economic crisis he inherited. “He inherited an economy in rapid decline,” she said. “But instead of pointing fingers, instead of placing blame,

I'm extremely tired of this liar insulting my intelligence. That has been the main talking point of 0bama and every single Democrat since day one. Good. Grief.

This must be something that is turning up in focus groups or internal polling. Of course, the more they deny the more they lie.

0bama inherited a deep, but cyclical recession. 0bama's policies have prevented a true recovery and has flat-lined our economy. There will be no relief as long as he is in office and 0bama's entire national campaign from 2007 to the present has been one long fight against a strawman, GWB. Who the hell does this woman think she's kidding?

But, but... During his '08 campaign Obama said he knew what was wrong, how bad it was and how to fix it. Then, he said he didn't know how bad it was. It was Bush's fault. Now he says he can't fix Washington from inside.

What can he do, besides campaign and play golf?

The thin skinned, narcissistic, arrogant, adolescent in the White House has never accepted responsibility for anything since the day he took office. It's always been Bush's fault, but the buck never stops with him. He's pointed fingers since the day he took office. I want this man and his "wife" out of the WH ASAP as they are like a vile stain on this country. After Benghazi, I truly believe he should be tried for treason. God help us if he is re-elected.

In January, 2009, the housing market was falling in a natural correction that countered the inflation of the past few years. The big banks that got greedy and wrote the subprime mortgages were in trouble solely due to that greed. The government didn't have to do anything and the problem would have corrected itself within a year. Obama muddled it up so badly that it hasn't moved in four years. Odumbo didn't inherit anything except a free ride to the best golf courses in the world and a luxurious place to park his family's fat butts for four years.

Michelle is so out of touch and ignorant; all her husband, 0bama, did WAS to point fingers and blame everyone else on every problem he encountered. And everything 0bama did made the problem worse. He has printed trillions of dollars out of thin air, he unwisely spent a trillion dollars on his stimulus that produced very few jobs; he spent so much money that he added 5 TRILLION dollars to our debt. He gave his friends millions of dollars to start green companies that almost all of them have gone bankrupt, and he rewrote contract law so that his "friends" got their money back, but the taxpayers got nothing. 0bama has caused the economy to rapid decline from the day he took office. What could this ignorant woman be thinking?

She has no idea how ridiculous she sounds. Everyone knows that Obama has done nothing BUT blame, complain and point his finger at Republicans. It has become his signature style, something he is known for. Can she have missed this? Was she paying attention? Does she know better but think that her audience is so dumb and gullible it will believe something contrary to its own eyes and ears? It can give one a headache trying to decide whether people like her are fools or villains or some unholy mix of both. My opinion is not settled and tends to vary from one extreme to the other depending on the details, but on the whole, in general and for the most part I think there is more of the fool than the villain in this crew. I think, in other words, that most of them actually believe some or all of what they say in public. The most convincing proof of this for me is that what they say is so preposterous and contrary to evidence, common sense and their documented behavior that no one who did not believe it themselves would be willing to make such a fool of themselves by saying it in public with a straight face.

Her comments are foolish and blatantly false.

As to how she and others could possibly be so consistently wrong, can't rule out evil, but it's more of life inside a bubble IMO. They are surrounded by those who believe as they do about issues, and seek to gain their favor.

Did Michelle ever really have the ability of criticial thinking? Did she as a college student or law student entertain serious doubts or question her beliefs. Much more likely that she immersed herself in a culture and mindset where everyone agreed on major issues.

Seems similar to life in a cult or in a country like North Korea. At some point, they have no inclination to consider other views and come to believe their own nonsense.

The genius of WFB and his "Firing Line" series was that he would FORCE liberals to sit still for an hour and actually try to defend their positions. This, invariably, led to Buckley looking brilliant and some famous liberal sounding stooopid.

That's why they don't ever sit still long enough to really talk about anything anymore.
The silver-tongued devils of the right seem to always win.

A Michigan high school canceled a speech by former Sen. Rick Santorum after teachers became outraged over his opposition to gay marriage and threatened to stage protests and a possible work stoppage. Santorum had been invited to deliver a upcoming speech on leadership by the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Gross Pointe South High School. But the speech was canceled on Monday after the school district’s superintendent heard from angry teachers. “It’s a sad day when liberal educators are allowed to influence young minds – extending free speech rights only to those who share their liberal views,” Santorum said

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

During Barack Obama´s presidency there have been 32 background checks for gun purchases every minute. Since February of 2009, the first full month of Obama´s presidency, there have been 70,291,049 background checks for gun purchases, according to data released by the FBI. Using February 1, 2009 as our starting date, and March 31, 2013 as our end date, (the latest data from the FBI) Obama has been president for 1,520 days. That equates to 36,480 hours, or 2,188,800 minutes. Divide the 70,291,049 background checks by 2,188,800 minutes and you get approximately 32 checks for gun purchases every minute!

As he rolls out his fiscal 2014 budget on Wednesday, a new survey finds that Americans haven’t felt this confident about President Obama’s handling of the economy since his first year in office. The Gallup poll, which sampled more than 1,000 Americans, found that 57 percent say they have a “great deal or a fair amount of confidence” in Mr. Obama to do the right thing on the economy. That’s up from just 50 percent last year and hasn’t been this high since it hit 71 percent in 2008. Trust in congressional Republicans, on the other hand, remains low.

All of these are very valid questions, but bring to light another issue: Isn’t there some one else who’s also pregnant right now? Some one who is substantially more important than Kim Kardashian?

Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.

"There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"

In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources.
