Obama Fans Quick
to Pounce on Fake
Racist Picture

National Review Magazine, by Greg Pollowitz

Here’s the picture, that was making the rounds: a pretty, white, racist sorority girl from Alabama. Via Bluegrass Pundit. The problem is, it wasn’t true. The woman above is a Democrat, voting for Obama and is in college in Connecticut. This is her Halloween costume. She’s a tea-partier, get it? They’re so cute at this age. To paraphrase a line from P. J. O’Rourke, “I wonder if she’ll still think this is as funny when she graduates from college and can’t get a job in the Obama economy.”

Sorry, Honey-pie, but in the South we are better educated than you sweet lil Yankee children seem to be. If we had bothered to make such a sign, and we wouldn't have, we might have neatly written, "Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot." Our mamas would have died of embarrassment had we so publicized our intellectual poverty. You're young yet, bless your heart. There is still time to pick up a copy of Strunk & White. It might not help with your critical thinking skills or your juvenile sense of humor, but it might bring your written English skills up to 10th grade level, if you pay close attention.
