Is Obama's relentless use of
the espionage act keeping
whistle blowers silent?

Washington Times, by Kerry Picket

Original Article

*Updated In light of Americans who are demanding answers from the Obama administration on why four Americans were denied help for military assistance when the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi was under attack, there is little chance that any whistle-blower with first hand information will step forward as long as President Barack Obama is still in office. Republicans are demanding the administration turnover material, including video, that explain what happened in Benghazi, but the President is more likely to cite executive privilege and use the hammer of his Justice Department to keep anybody who knows anything quiet.

Comments:
You will note this Act is not utilized when it relates to leaks that are favorable to 0bama. Absolutely nothing would surprise me coming from this corrupt, criminal regime.

It gets worse.

The Obama Regime is preparing to deny the dead soldiers families government benefits because the men didn't follow orders to stand down and not go to our Ambassadors help.

Hmmm...Let me get this straight...An outrageously politicized DOJ that selectively implements "justice" for the "right people"....A Dept of Labor that cooks the books, and changes methodology midstream to fit the agenda...Unethical JournOlists incapable of doing their civic duty with integrity that got caught red-handed last election conspiring and working in concert with the current regime to get Obama elected doing more of the same..and a stock market that shuts down NOT because there are no safe guards, backup systems, redundancy and not because the risk of failure due to the storm is unmanageable and cannot be mitigated...but rather because wall street with their license to steal cannot use their "black pools" to manipulate and prop this market up for barack husein.....we are turning into a Banana Republic. I pulled out of the market completely before the recent downturn. I will not reinvest in America until this country has real change, real budgets, real fiscal responsibility and real leadership. ;-(

When the Oakland police re-opened the case against Bernadette Dorn - terrorist who murdered a policeman and wounded 11 others in a bomb attack, obama had Eric Holder take over the case in order to block the Oakland police from investigating or commenting publicly about it.

obama is Best friends with her for nearly 30 years.

The samething is going on here. Just a variation.

Reports indicate Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was mirandized by Federal Judge Marianne Bowler against the wishes of investigators who wanted to continue questioning the suspect. As news has come out of Bowler´s actions on April 22, Republican lawmakers have pressed the DOJ to explain "why it didn´t make a stronger bid to resist the judge´s plans." These lawmakers include House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI), who said, "We have a longstanding tradition that the judiciary does not interfere with investigations. This sets a very dangerous precedent."

Although law enforcement was lauded for quickly identifying and neutralizing both suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing last weekend, the FBI has much explaining to do over why now-deceased Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the suspects, managed to slip through the FBI’s fingers after two warnings from Russian intelligence two years ago that Tsarnaev was tied to “radical Islam.” Of particular concern is that around the same time the FBI was informed about Tsarnaev, the Obama administration’s policies handling terrorism relating in any way to Islamic extremists changed. As the country awoke to the news of a massive manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombers in the early morning hours of Friday, April 19, reporters began pressing sources at the FBI and the Justice Department for information on the two attackers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The response, at least to some reporters: We don’t know anything about them. That claim, like so many that followed, wouldn’t hold up. Just five days later it was clear that the U.S. government generally, and the FBI in particular, had known more than a little about Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

During an April 24 address to the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), Attorney General Eric Holder told the crowd that “creating a pathway to earned citizenship” is a critical element of any comprehensive immigration reform plan. He said that establishing legal status for the nation’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants is a “matter of civil and human rights.” “Creating a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in this country is essential,” Holder said to applause. “The way we treat our friends and neighbors who are undocumented by creating a mechanism for

Sen. John McCain on Friday pleaded with business leaders to rally behind the immigration reform bill that he negotiated as part of the Senate’s Gang of Eight. Speaking at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce´s immigration reform summit, McCain (R-Ariz.) said the bill needs the full-throated support of industry to make it to President Obama’s desk. “We need your help. We need you to inform the people you represent. We need their active support, not just passive,” McCain said. “We need all of you, we need all of the people you represent to be actively engaged in the community.”

The Boston Globe published a harrowing interview with the man whose vehicle the Tsarnaev brothers commandeered on the night they were trying to flee the police. It is the most extensive version of events yet of how the brothers forced their way into the Mercedes-Benz of the man, who The Globe’s reporter on the story, Eric Moskowitz, identifies as a 26-year old Chinese entrepreneur nicknamed Danny, and it provides a gripping narrative of the 90 minutes that he spent driving the brothers through neighborhoods just before the night ended in a shootout between the brothers and the police.

A bill that would end the Federal Aviation Administration’s furlough on air traffic controllers is now on its way to President Obama to sign. On Friday, the House passed the measure 361-41. On Thursday night, the Senate passed the legislation after most lawmakers had left the Capitol for a weeklong vacation. Earlier this week, lawmakers from both parties urged the Obama administration to postpone or cancel the furlough of air traffic controllers, with some accusing the FAA of playing politics as the cuts contributed to massive delays at airports across the country. The furloughs went into effect Sunday,

White House economist Alan Krueger hailed estimates for economic growth released Friday that showed the economy grew at a rate of 2.5 percent in the first quarter. "While there is more work to be done, this report, together with other economic indicators, provides further evidence that the economy is moving forward in the right direction," Krueger said in a statement. The advance estimate from the Bureau of Economic Analysis is good news, considering it follows the contraction reported by the Commerce Department in the previous quarter.

The unfailing reverence on the American right for Ronald Reagan is understandable. He was the only exemplar of modern conservatism to win the White House, and unlike liberal icons such as Roosevelt or Johnson or Obama, he presided over an economic boom and became beloved by voters not normally drawn to his party. No wonder that Reagan, long before his death in 2004, attained mythical status in the conservative movement and the Republican Party. But that myth has become a burden for the modern GOP. It has bound Reagan’s followers on the right to policies and positions that were

Michelle Obama did not walk the E!-streamed red carpet before tonight´s White House Correspondents´ Dinner — she was already at home, of course — so our first glimpse of her black Monique Lhuillier gown came later, once dinner started. And damn does she look good. This is a sexier look on her than usual, with a sheer lace panel over her decolletage and a molded bustier-style top. She very wisely chose a dress that photographs well while she´s sitting down, Schiaparelli-style, with elaborate beading along her collarbone and fitted cap sleeves that flatter her arms. Washington - America´s blacks voted at a higher rate than other minority groups in 2012 and by most measures surpassed the white turnout for the first time, reflecting a deeply polarized presidential election in which blacks strongly supported Barack Obama while many whites stayed home. Had people voted last November at the same rates they did in 2004, when black turnout was below its current historic levels, Republican Mitt Romney would have won narrowly, according to an analysis conducted for The Associated Press. Unlike you, federal government officials are immune from charges of fraud. The executive branch, vested with all of the government’s prosecutorial authority and discretion, is not going to investigate its own operatives for carrying out its own mendacious policies. That is the story of last week’s Boston Marathon bombing and the frantic efforts of the bombers, the brothers Tsarnaev, to evade capture, shoot it out with police (two of whom they killed), and — we’re now told — detonate more bombs in Times Square. The Times Square non-attack is quite interesting.

President Obama´s weekly remarks: Hi, everybody. Our top priority as a nation must be growing the economy, creating good jobs, and rebuilding opportunity for the middle class. But two months ago, Congress allowed a series of automatic budget cuts to fall across the federal government that would do the opposite. In Washington-speak, these cuts were called the “sequester.” It was a bad idea then. And as the country saw this week, it’s a bad idea now. Because of these reckless cuts, there are parents whose kids just got kicked out of Head Start programs scrambling for a solution.

President Barack Obama on Saturday called on the US Congress to end the "reckless" and "dumb" budget cuts known as the sequester, and to adopt a plan of "smarter" cuts to fuel economic growth. Obama´s weekly address comes after Congress on Friday overwhelming approved a bill putting furloughed air traffic controllers back on the job, thus undoing one of the most high-profile effects of the so-called sequestration, the $85 billion in automatic budget cuts that took effect March 1 and hit federal spending across the board. WASHINGTON — Russian authorities secretly recorded a telephone conversation in 2011 in which one of the Boston bombing suspects vaguely discussed jihad with his mother, officials said Saturday, days after the U.S. government finally received details about the call. In another conversation, the mother of now-dead bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was recorded talking to someone in southern Russia who is under FBI investigation in an unrelated case, officials said. The conversations are significant because, had they been revealed earlier, they might have been enough evidence for the FBI to initiate a more thorough investigation of the Tsarnaev family.
