In a new ad for ‘Catholics for Obama,’ Vice President Joe Biden boasts he is a “practicing Catholic” and explains that Obama’s platform matches his understanding of Catholic doctrine. “As a practicing Catholic like many of you, I was raised in a household where there was absolutely no distinction between the values my mom and dad drilled into us and what I learned from the nuns and priests who educated me,” Biden explains as the camera focuses on a crucifix and a Bible. “We call it Catholic social doctrine: ‘Whatever you do to the least of these,

What disdain he must have for the American people and people of faith.

I haven`t noticed any ads by Romney or Ryan proclaiming their religious beliefs. You would think the libs would go apoplectic were Romney to advertise his Mormonism.

Why the sudden rush to ingratiate yourself with the Catholics, Joe? Trying to make up for the forced contraceptive demands by Obama? Maybe you can get Sandra Fluke to sit in your lap like you did that biker chick....

Crazy Uncle Joe, you never found a pro-abortion law you didn't fully support while in Congress.

By being part of the current administration, you fully supported your boss forcing Catholic (and other Christian) busniesses to provide drugs that cause the body to abort an unborn baby.

You are pure evil, Joe, and have the blood of every innocent unborn baby killed by abortion through your actions on your hands!!!

You are NOT a Catholic in any sense of the word!!! And the fact that you have to waste money telling people that you are speaks volumes about how little your words and actions show any sense of being Christian!!!!

# 7 ... I guess because, unlike Biden, I do not try to deceive people by telling lies about what my Catholic faith teaches.

Biden... a public figure.. is playing on the religion of a lot of people .. to try to mislead them into believing that his own view of Catholic teaching and morality is fine with the Catholic Church.

On his deathbed... Biden will have to send a Teddy Kennedy-like letter to the Pope, trying to get the Pope's ok for his failure to defend the unborn and for actively fighting his Church. His pronouncement that he is a "practicing Catholic" is an attempt to deceive people.

When Jesus was talking about caring for the least...he was not speaking to the government. He was speaking to the masses.
This is just one more lie coming out of a fake catholic's mouth.

And, according to my (liberal) Lutheran pastor, Jesus was talking about taking care of childen at a time when babies and little children were considered to be a burden on a family. At a time in our history where we are killing the unborn babies, it is somewhat ironic that Joe Biden doesn't understand his own religion.

YES, the Church needs to finally get some gonads and put their foot down and stand up to these Quasi Catholic "Liberals" !!!

Like how they want to interpret the Constitution they also feel they can twist the meaning of the Bible to their Liberal views.

Either the Church has a doctrine or it doesn't ? They have to stop being wishy, washy, and say enough is enough !!!!!

Joe, when you go to confession (now called the rite of reconciliation),the demands on a confessee are sill the same:
1. You knew that what you are doing or did was or is a sin-venial or a mortal sin (misdemenor or felony).
2.Though you knew it was a sin, and thought about it consequenses,
3.You commit the sin never-the-less.
3. After committing the sin you have no remorse or sorrow or made any attempt to make restitution for it.
4. You continue to commit the sin with full knowledge of what you are doing.

Joe go and read your Catechism again.

Joe is a CINO (Catholic in name only).
He adheres to none of the doctrines of "his" church.
He defies the explicit words of His Holiness.
So what is he trusting in, really?
Is he hoping that God is so stupid as to overlook is absurd and preposterous defiance of his leaders?
This is the same Church which once gave elaborate funerals to leaders of the Mafia.
Where are his works of charity and mercy? How much has he given to "his" church? Just how are we supposed to tell that he is Catholic?
Poor guy.
Too bad the Catechism of the Church is unknown to him, as is the Constitution.
He does know how to be sarcastic, however.
He's about as Catholic as Louis Farrakhan. Or perhaps Madonna.

President Obama was doing his favorite thing this week: talking to crowds of adoring young people who already agree with him while acting like he persuaded them about something. They also seemed to give Obama the impression that he’s a really funny guy. On Wednesday, he told a University of Michigan crowd of 1,400 that he visited a local deli, Zingerman’s. He proceeded to tell a long story about ordering the small Reuben sandwich, which he said was “killer.” That got a good laugh. Then he explained how he thought the sandwich was too big, so he shared it with

Do you think members of Congress are overpaid or underpaid? Most likely you’d go with the former, but Democratic congressman Jim Moran argues it’s actually the latter. In an interview with CQ Roll Call, Moran says, “I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid.” The House recently took up a bill to freeze members’ paychecks, placing another halt on the annual cost-of-living pay increases they would normally get and keeping annual salary at $174,000. Moran believes that this is the wrong way to go, not necessarily talking about himself in particular, but saying there

With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.

The human kindling that makes up the flammable Republican base may soon burst into flames, again. Portions of that excitable cohort are looking — some with fawn-like eyes filled with hurt, others with sparks shooting from eyes narrowed like gun slits — askance at other Republicans urging Jeb Bush to seek the 2016 presidential nomination. A candidacy by Florida’s former governor would be desirable. But if Republicans want to avoid intra-party carnage, they should be very careful about doing what The Post recently reported: “Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is "looking" at banning the sale of tobacco at military installations. According to one military publication, Hagel appears to support it. "As the Navy considers banning tobacco sales on all bases and ships, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel gave a strong endorsement of the review Monday, and suggested that he would be in favor of a ban," reports Stars and Stripes. “I don’t know if there’s anybody in America who still thinks that tobacco is good for you,” Stars and Stripes quotes Hagel as saying. “We don’t allow smoking in any of our government buildings. Restaurants, states, [and]

Sarah Palin continues to act in ways that confirm some of the more negative things said about her. For example, she’s taken to Facebook to attack the most recent budget plan by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.(Snip)Whatever differences Ms. Palin may have with the Ryan plan–and perhaps she’ll take the time to offer an actual critique of if rather than a Facebook entry with lots of upper case words–it’s hardly a joke. But what might elicit a roll of the eyes is comparing Ms. Palin’s views now versus what they were nearly four years ago. Consider this: On December

At a press conference to push legislation to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) criticized industrialists David and Charles Koch, calling them “shadow billionaires” who use their wealth to “rig our political system.” Reid’s sharp comments come on a day when the Wall Street Journal published a commentary written by Charles Koch, in which he described the brothers’ decision to get involved in politics to preserve the individual freedom and free markets that he said are the pillars of the American republic. “These two men are a pair of shadow billionaires spending
