Watching what Democrats in leadership positions do to their states, with taxes and regulations like California, and how they end up causing sizable numbers of people to flee the state, like NY, it's no wonder that other states are rejecting Democrats as governors.

Because so much demonRat money has been sucked up by the 0bama campaign, the DNC is broke and has not been able to support candidates in most state and local elections. I have been following this angle for months, and conclude that these races will bear the most substantial GOP gains.

The race for governor here in NC has been over almost since the month that current governor Bev Perdue came into office on Obama's coattails in 08.
As her predecessor, Mike Easly (D), and his cohorts faced numerous charges, it became apparent that she might eventually face the same charges.
Extremely unpopular, many questioned her win over McCrory, the popular former Mayor of Charlotte.
In January she dropped her re-election bid in the face of plummetting polls.
McCrory is running virtually un-opposed, faced by a weak dem Lt Governor, Walter Dalton, who's only strong point is that it is fun to say his name 3 times in a row.

Maybe people in these states realize there's no bailouts coming.Pensions are killing states,someone is going to have to figure out a way to deal with them.Obviously Rahm wasn't able and in fact made them worse.
Dems don't tax people because of a need,they do it for the enjoyment of it. They spend first and ask for money later.Obama intentionally ballooned the debt,thinking it would give rise to higher taxes,at least on rich people but he would nail everybody if he could,whether he'd walk McConnell's dog or not.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

A week after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, a majority of voters said President Barack Obama’s response to the crisis wasn’t a factor in their vote, according to early exit polls. The one clear thing that came out of last week´s chaotic activity in Boston, Massachusetts is that real reporters were missing. For that matter, they´ve been missing since last year´s attack in Benghazi. From Benghazi, the Gosnell abortion trial, gun control debates, immigration and then the Boston Marathon bombings, television news reporting has become positively painful to watch. The First Amendment to the Constitution grants freedom of the press but this was supposed to endow it with a responsibility to be the people´s watchdog.
