Ministers see Obama's Christian
faith evolve over first term

CNN, by Dan Gilgoff

Washington - President Obama's prayers for a strong first debate may not have been answered, but that doesn't mean the prayers weren't happening. Before he stepped onto a Colorado stage earlier this month to face off with Mitt Romney for the first time, Obama joined a conference call with a small circle of Christian ministers. "The focus of that prayer was, 'Oh, Lord, you know precisely what the president needs to say,'" says Kirbyjon Caldwell, a Methodist megachurch pastor from Texas who helped lead the call. "'You know what this country needs during the next four years.'" "'And so I would pray

Comments:
Cut me some slack. Just because Barry has improved on his revival tent preacher cadence doesn't mean his "faith" has evolved. 0bama worships one entity and one entity only - that dude he sees while he's shaving each morning.

Pure projection and proves you can fool some people a lot of the time. Too bad obama is still church choosing shy?

Wish I could get a bet going with favorable odds that obama returns to his Black Liberation theology when he is liberated from office in Nov.

Or maybe if out of politics he can go back to the Muslim/Marxism of his youth?

On his $21 million estate in Hawaii will he be free to acknowledge (or suddenly discover as a politician would) his actual b8irth father Communist community organizer and poet in hawaii Frank Marshall Davis?

Why hasn't that video gone on line as a freebe?

God indeed knows what this country needs, Minister Kirby. And, He knew exactly what obit needed to say. Why do you think obit did so well in the debates, sir? And, just after ya'll prayed and all.

FTA - "'And so I would pray that your primary will and words that you want the president to say will fall from his lips,'" Caldwell goes on, recalling his prayer.

That explains why something fell from obit's lips and was caught by Romney with Candy canes attempt to neutralize it after your request that Romney move on.

Oh, did you happen to mention that abortion and homosexual "stuff" when you prayed? Didn't? Well, God knows anyway, you modern day Pharisees.

What a crock. Obama is a cynical SOB who is simply borrowing the language of evangelicals to try to con people of faith into believing he's something he's not. He can mouth the words, but his actions give the game away. He thinks Christians are dumb rubes who will buy his snake oil, but we're not. We know a charlatan when we see one. I've no doubt that come January he'll be right back in one of Wright's pews.

His faith didn't evolve so much as leaked out - if he isn't a Muslim his primary allegiance to any religion beyond self-worship is Islam, the type that kills Americans and wants a nuclear bomb to use against Israel and America. We'd be much better off if he was an atheist.

Some how I get the message that just because you say Lord, Lord by the potus does not necessarily mean he is Christian. According to the Good Book, Jesus, himself said, that using His name did not make you a Christian. I am conjecturing that this prayer sham was for the media to spread the rumor that the potus is Christian. Accordingly I take this to mean the potus is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Evolution of the potus into Christian is doubtful but more like a Muslim masquerading as a Christian in my book.

None knows the heart of man but that individual and God. However, we're told that we will know a man by his fruits.

It is very interesting, to me, that Ty Woods's dad and family were on Justice with Judge Jeanine last night (10/27/12), and Mr. Woods spoke directly to the POTUS after the judge asked him what he would say to him. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm4wtlUg8_M

Then, today we are hearing stories about the President's church attendance and prayers.

Nothing would please me more than to know that the POTUS is in a right relationship with Christ. We will know by his deeds, rather than by his words.

Know the Truth and He shall set you free! That's Jesus, the Son of God!

Obama has continually lied to US and still claims he's a Christian. His supporters, even ministers, will one day stand "alone" before Jesus and be told what He knows! Too many will hear - Depart from Me for I never knew you rather than, welcome, good and faithful servant!

What doth it profit a man if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul.

God is not mocked - what you sow, you will reap!

I rest my case!

Kirbyjon obviously likes having the President as his BFF. What, by the way, does it mean for someone's faith to "evolve?" Or is that just campaign-speak to peel back a few of those Christian votes he has lost to Mitt Romney? What about his stances on abortion and gay marriage? Or his assault on religious freedom? I would rather have a President who admits he is a non-believer or an agnostic than one who professes an "evolving" Christian faith around election time.

What Margaret Thatcher

In her remarkable life, Margaret Thatcher achieved what Hillary Rodham Clinton still wants (or at least what the pundits say she wants): She became the first female leader of her country, and she did it in such a determined way that her sex was almost an afterthought. In many respects, the two women are profoundly different. Thatcher, who died Monday at 87, was a self-described "conviction politician" and arch-conservative who channeled Milton Friedman and bonded fiercely with "Ronnie" Reagan, her great pal and partner on the world stage as the Cold War came to an end.

The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.
