| Mitt Romney's campaign on Saturday launched an online fundraising initiative to to raise $7 million in 7 days so the campaign could expand the electoral map to "blue states" formerly firmly in the Obama column. Potential donors who visit the appropriately named "expand the map" site are asked to "Contribute now to help Romney-Ryan and the Republican team keep up the fight." "We need your help to raise $7 million in the next 7 days," the site says. "Your contribution will help us expand the electoral map -- we'll take our message into new states, and defeat Obama's billion-dollar machine."

Comments:
If 0bama has to run more commercials and make appearances in states that he is relying upon heavily and won easily in 2008 then his campaign is in deep trouble.

This morning I spoke to one of the top 2 Republicans in WNY. This is what he told me: He had a conversation this week with 2 local Political Science profs, one Lib/Dem, the other Rep. Both of them had watched Obama at his polling place to cast his vote, and they agreed, 100% confident, that his body language indicates he has been told and understands that this election is over for him.
I was skeptical and said that B.O. even thought he won the first debate. No, said my guy, the people at the top have made it clear to him. He has lost and the final count will not be close. This could certainly explain his snarky attitude of late.
We shall see. I hope this is a true indication of what is to come.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.
