| NEW ORLEANS- Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her "MDNA Tour" in New Orleans. The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance: "Who's registered to vote?" She added: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama." Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote." Madonna is often outspoken.

I don't think people go to open concerts wanting to hear political crap. She was probably shocked that everybody in the audience wasn't an Obama lover.
If you want to go see Springsteen's veins popping out of his neck, that's a different story. He probably showed Obama his tattos.

Oh spare me your booing. If you are dumb enough to go to a Madonna concert and even dumber for paying for it you forfeit your right to feel outraged about anything she does or says. Her behavior and antics, her lifestyle, and her opinions are well documented.
You should have donated that ticket money to charity.

People who live in a protected bubble think everyone thinks like them. Madonna found out that everyone who attended her concert did not agree with her admiration of Obama. It always comes a shock when you find out you are in the minority. There are going to be many shocked people in America after the election, no matter how it turns out.

She's got enough money to be completely insulated from Obama's domestic policy and she knows it. She does like the idea of the little people being taken care of by a ever growing Mommie Government. About eight years ago Linda Ronstadt performed at the Aladdin Hotel in Vegas.
After every other song she bashed George Bush to the audience.
Upshot? About half the paying customers walked out and demanded a refund!
The Aladdin escorted Ronstadt to the tour bus at the end of her show. They had already packed her bags. Threw her out.

Philadelphia, Pa. – More than three years after Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s abortion clinic was raided by the FBI, blood-stained files recovered from the Women’s Medical Society still smell from the clinic, which was described by the grand jury as a “baby charnel house.” (Snip) When presenting the files to Gosnell’s attorney, Jack McMahon, Cameron cautioned, “You might want to use gloves.” “The files smell,” he said. “You might want to use gloves because there’s a red dried substance.” Cameron offered the files as evidence of inconsistencies in the bookkeeping at Gosnell’s clinic.

The president could not have expended more time, political capital and energy on his anti-gun legislation and yet today the vote on cloture on the Toomey-Manchin background check bill wasn’t even close. In the end, 54 senators voted for cloture, 6 less than needed. The Democratic senators voting no were Mark Begich (Alaska), Max Baucus (Mont.), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Mark Pryor (Ark.), and Harry Reid (Nev.) (for procedural purposes so he could potentially bring it up again). It is hard to blame this one solely on the Republicans who contributed four votes in favor of cloture.

Gallup released a poll Monday that asked Americans to list the most important problems currently facing the country. Despite the fact that the media has been on a months-long, 24/7 crusade to convince DC lawmakers to restrict our Second Amendment civil rights, this propaganda push has failed miserably with the overall population: Only 4% of Americans see gun control as a priority. As if to punctuate this point, with the help of David Axelrod and Steve Schmidt, the insufferable "Morning Joe" crew was in full demagogue mode Wednesday morning. Joe Scarborough was actually screaming something about "terrorists getting guns!"

Washington- In a critical indication of growing U.S. military involvement in the civil war in Syria, CNN has learned Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is ordering the deployment of up to 200 troops to Jordan, according to two Defense Department officials. BOSTON– Investigators have made a “clear identification” of a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings, according to CNN. Correspondent John King, a Boston native, said authorities have a clear video image of a “dark-skinned male” placing a package at one of the bomb sites and then leaving the area before the explosion. The breakthrough came through analysis of surveillance video from the Lord and Taylor store in Copley Square. King said his sources said the video is said to be so clear they can see the suspect’s face.

Kerry said the appointment will be made as early as Thursday, following repeated questions about the incident, during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing. “I’ll appoint somebody tomorrow,” Kerry said. Kerry’s remark followed sharp comments from California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, who suggested the Obama administration has lied to congressional investigators.

And they didn´t even need black helicopters and Men in Black to pull it off. Derided as conspiracy nuts, opponents of the New York state gun law passed by the assembly in the aftermath of Newtown were ridiculed for being concerned that the law could lead to gun confiscation. Guess what: They were right. The story dropped over the weekend and then was blown away by the Boston attack. But it deserves all the publicity we can give it, as I told Jazz Shaw, author of this piece at Hot Air, on my radio show last night:

Protocol: President Obama declined to send a high-level delegation to Wednesday´s funeral of Britain´s Margaret Thatcher. It´s a measure of how little he values the special relationship — and a sign of his own smallness. Back in more gracious times, vice presidents routinely attended funerals of foreign dignitaries. As such, the presence of Vice President Joe Biden — if not Obama himself — would seem fitting for as significant a U.S. ally as the late Prime Minister Thatcher, if not out of warmth of feeling, then simply to represent the U.S.´ gratitude. President Obama angrily blamed the defeat Wednesday of his centerpiece gun-control proposal on lies spread by the National Rifle Association, calling it “a pretty shameful day for Washington.” “The gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill,” Mr. Obama said in the White House rose garden about 90 minutes after the vote. “It came down to politics.” As he spoke, Mr. Obama was surrounded by family members of victims of the Newtown, Conn., school shooting. Also with him was former Rep. Gabby Giffords of Arizona, wounded in an assassination attempt.

Authorities on Tuesday revealed little new information about the terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon, the most high-profile bombing on U.S. soil in more than a decade and a tragedy that presents a new test for President Obama. Obama, like all Americans, is standing by, waiting for answers as to who planted two bombs improvised from pressure cookers at the finish line of the storied race, and why. Three Americans were killed in Monday´s attack and more than 170 others were injured. "Anytime bombs are used to target innocent civilians, it is an act of terror," Obama said,

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

"I think we’ve got a good chance of seeing it pass if members of Congress are listening to the American people," President Obama said in an interview on NBC´s "Today Show" that aired on Tuesday. "The notion that Congress would defy the overwhelming instinct of the American people after what we saw happen in Newtown, I think, is unimaginable." Obama was then asked by Savannah Guthrie how he could expect Democrats in red states to vote on this bill when he, as a Senator, didn´t have to himself.
