It appears that this is all a wall of Obama lies and coverup, including this AP article.
An AC-130U gunship was on-scene in Benghazi. Permission to fire on the mortars that ultimately killed Tyrone Woods was refused.
Obama started lying the next day about the little film maker in California.
Talk about betrayal.

I'm reading reports NOW that there was an AC-130 gunship in Benghazi that was ordered to "stand down". Anyone know the background of this report? I can't find it anywhere except on opinion blogs and it's the same report repeated over and over with no source cited.

You can't blame Obama for losing track of the war, afterall, he has to campaign to maintain his and his wifes royal living conditions. Just think what would happen if he lost the use of AF1 and Jezzabell Marchelle lost her extravigant dinners and vacations!!!
He would have to go back to Community Organizing and she would have to go back to her $300,000 a year job which was created just for her.
The little bratts would suffer too by having to socializing with common people.

Someone needs to investigate what role Huma Abedin might have played in the decisions not to help our heroic men on the ground. She is known as Hillary's closest aide and has deep and wide ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The administration took great pains to present a false narrative. Why? The HuffPost has used the Fox News story as the link on the FRONT PAGE! Sorry for yelling, but that blew my mind. I haven't been over there today, but it was there last night. First thing you'd see on bringing up AOL. I was shocked.
But I do think some of these sources need to be known or need to be corroborated. I've seen a lot of military/ ex-gov guys weighing in and this may be why even the leftists are picking it up. They say that, if the CIA knew about the attack on civilian Americans -- and they did because the two men did go to help -- then they were obligated By Law to help. That they didn't all go is suspicious. They would go unless someone told them not to.
Also, the attack went on for long enough that surrounding installations would have known about it. They'd have provided aid unless someone told them not to. That seems to be the consensus among those with experience in these areas.
The story is certainly plausible. Petraous says it wasn't the CIA who gave the stand down order. So who did?

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.
