They fought for their lives for seven hours. 9/11/ 2012. Benghazi. The White House watched. No help was sent and they died. Four Americans died in the jihadi attack on our consulate in Benghazi. Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, two retired SEALS who were working as civilian security specialists in Benghazi, learned that Ambassador Stevens and nine other people at the consulate were under attack and rushed to their defense. The fourth man was Sean Smith, father of three, an Air Force veteran, working for the State Department in Libya.
Comments: The one name that has been consistently absent from any of the coverage is Valerie Jarrett, yet she is reportedly the person who persuaded Obama to postpone the bin Laden operation. What, if any, was her involvement in this?
Forget about Valerie Jarrett or anyone else other than The President - WHAT DID HE KNOW AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT - Who sent Carney and Rice out to LIE -Who gave the Order for the requests for assistance to be denied, etc., etc.
These questions should be asked of The President and his Flunkies all day, every day - the Mainstream Media should be asked all day, every day, why they refuse to ask Obama and his Flunkies these questions all day, every day - Four Americans are dead - Our Pathetic Excuse for a President schedules Campaign Appearances and Fundraisers instead of Press Conferences and National Security Meetings- This Administration and these Media are Disgraceful

Oh God....I'm not some naive teenager. But please...tell me this cannot be the case. Please..........If so, ........I can't write the rest of this sentence or the Feds will be on me and mine..............
Oh, #8, bless your heart - I am right there with you. I really cannot even click on the article because my mind is already racing to where it shouldn't (for my sanity). I want to throw up just from reading the headline. Dear God in heaven, the sheer horror of this story just keeps growing and growing and growing. I gotta stop thinking about it and trust the wisdom and power of God Almighty to bring about justice. And trust in Him to deliver our country from those who would destroy it.
It is not enough that Speaker Boehner write to the WH demanding to see everything they have. The WH will stall. Go to Boehner's website, send an email telling him we want ACTION on this travesty by Monday morning - on the floor of the House. It's his house and he's responsible to us to do something. The whole d*#n administration should be hung. Boehner needs to be so loud the MSM is forced to listen. Maybe we also need an orchestrated protest.
This is as bad as the betrayal of our troops in Vietnam by Johnson and Nixon. Only the President could make the decision for everybody to sit around on their butts and do nothing but watch the show on TV. Obama is a man without honor. Totally without honor. He and other liberals who never served in the military and don't know the business end of a gun shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the oval office. I watched an interview today where Charles Lane of the WaPo said that the President didn't want to send any support to Benghazi because some of those troops might get hurt. Good grief! He doesn't even begin to understand that warriors are not afraid of getting hurt, they only want to fight for the folks and honor the flag of their country. To abandon an American Ambassador to a mob is criminal conduct. God help us if this coward in reelected.
Just when you thought they simply could not be more ugly, more hard hearted, greedy, vicious, vile, and reprehensible scum bags, they prove you wrong. Those loyal men deserved better, they deserved to be treated like Americans. We don't leave our men and women behind or at least we didn't used to.
Obama and his scummy little minions deserve impeachment and criminal charges for this utter and complete dereliction of duty.

The thing is, Obama went to bed that night. Knowing our citizens were under attack for 7 hours. The reason people keep bringing up Valerie Jarrett is because there is good reason to believe she is the one who kept refusing to kill Osama bin Laden. A shadowy advisor to POTUS making national security decisions. Why would Benghazi be any different? Obama didn't even attend his National Securi briefing on September 12, he jetted off to Vegas, though.
Who ever is doing the leaking is doing America a favor. I am sure they only trust FOX. What the he.. Does that say about America's own Pravda media? I've been reading on left wing blogs and twitter, libs are discounting this b/ c it's from FOX.
Where in the heck are John Boehner and other elected Republicans? Good grief, is it too much to ask that they stand up for this country?
#11, I agree. We need to bombard Boehner and all our reps to force them to take action. This is unacceptable!! #15, I wouldn't put a lot of blame on Nixon.,,,he did get us out of Vietnam--but I do blame LBJ because his companies had exclusive contracts in the war zone. He kept the war going for his own personal gain. Just as Zero let these men die for political gain. Sick! Treason!
It's becoming clearer since Panetta said what he said which was basically we didn't know if it was safe enough to send rescue troops in.If they did that and some troops got killed then that's a more disastrous headline than simply 4 people being sacrificed at the altar of Obama's re-election. It was strictly a political calculation not to send in troops.
That's what the troops are really for the protect Americans.
Then you had the prospects of Libyans being killed by American troops which would have blown Obama's "AlQueda is dead" banter.
Every great nation has had a 'warrior class' to protect and defend them. Zero has just made it clear to our warrior class that the attitude of the government is 'you are on your own; do not expect our backing and support.'
From this article, it seems that Obama knew "in real time" what was going on. Yet he chose to do nothing.
As Rush said, he is cold, and I believe he could stand by and do nothing. Isn't Obama the one who picks out which Islamist the drones are going to kill? And haven't they killed hundreds on Obama's say-so?
O'Reilly and Geraldo are both saying that Obama couldn't have been in the know, that it's wrong to say he didn't act. BOR actually said he knows how the WH works, and Obama couldn't have been the one not to act.
The Peter Principle is a belief that, in an organization where promotion is based on achievement, success, and merit, that organization's members will eventually be promoted beyond their level of ability.
The principle is commonly phrased, "employees tend to rise to their level of incompetence." In more formal parlance, the effect could be stated as: employees tend to be given more authority until they cannot continue to work competently.
Obviously the 'Peter Principle' has been replaced by the 'Obama Principle' ... Start at the top and work your way down.
FTA: ''At some point, President Obama went to bed. Whether it was before or after the last men died, we don't know. He had a fundraising trip to Las Vegas to get up for the next morning. In the morning, President Obama skipped his national security briefing, as he had skipped so many others...''
Don't know if he watched it personally, but he sure did KNOW what was going on. If he were a Republican, the impeachment hearings would have already begun. Shame, shame. BTW, that "great" reporter, Geraldo Riviera also wants to know why Mitt Romney didn't DEMAND obama answer to what happened in Ben Ghazi. That is just one more sign of the ignorance on the left. Mitt Romney will be the next President, NOT the next Walter Cronkite. It is NOT his JOB to get into a spitting war with the liar-in-chief during a debate that is already weighed in obama's favor. Good grief!
Subborning perjury to the news media in the court of public opinion is bad, but the fact that so many lies were told to cover up old lies has brought us back to the original liar-in-chief, and he cannot escape responsibility no matter how many he sends out to fall on their sword for him!!
This is not like telling Betty Currie to lie about Monica...no one was killed needlessly over that--
Bath house Barry , the big Choom of the loom ,watching heroes fighting for their life and doing nothing, is a powerful image. You'd better come up with something Barry. Were you actually in said room? At some point, we'll find out.
For those who question ValJar's role in everything , you have to remember that Axlotl , his campaign director, admits that he attends security briefings- the few that Barky actually deigns to grace with his presence.
I doubt Barry watched it happening - not that he isn't that callous and stupid. But ValJar would certainly have shooed him off so that he'd be able to claim not knowing nuthin' about birthin' no babies.
From time to time, we have noted President Obama’s lack of knowledge about American history. The most recent manifestation — his claim that Ho Chi Minh was inspired by America’s Founding Fathers — suggests that Obama’s ignorance is to some extent willful. It is, in any event, not accidental. From Stanley Kurtz, we learn that Obama is a fan of the leftist historian Howard Zinn. Stanley cites this passage from James T. Kloppenberg’s book Reading Obama: Obama filled out his education in American history as well as politics while he was working in Chicago. Mike Kruglik had been a doctoral candidate in American history at Northwestern before he became an organizer, and when he and Obama talked, they discussed the reasons why a nation supposedly dedicated to freedom and equality provided so little of either.
Rep. Paul D. Ryan might have just given away the road map for House consideration of immigration reform. “Tentatively, in October, we’re going to vote on a border security bill, an interior enforcement bill, a bill for legal immigration,” the Wisconsin Republican and Budget Committee chairman told constituents at a district town hall event Friday, according to a report by the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel. Ryan also reportedly said negotiations were underway for the chamber to vote on legislation that would provide undocumented immigrants with “probationary” visas while they waited a minimum of 15 years to attain citizenship.
A new poll undermines the conventional wisdom, relentlessly peddled by some Republican establishment types, that Republicans need to embrace Schumer-Rubio style amnesty in order to make headway with Hispanic voters. The poll, conducted by Republican pollster John McLaughlin, finds that, by a margin of 60 percent to 34 percent, registered Hispanic voters support granting legal status to illegal immigrants only when the goal of stopping 90 percent of future illegal immigration is reached.
Of course they should. The one thing both sides in the immigration reform debate agree on is that the issue is a vital one. The legislative outcome, both sides correctly believe, will say much about what kind of a nation we are and what kind we will be. If it’s a bad idea to challenge Republican incumbents in primaries based on their vote on such a crucial issue, then when is it appropriate to mount a primary challenge?
Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:
Paul Ryan tells a Washington audience assembled by the National Association of Manufacturers that “earned legalization is an issue I think the House can and will deal with.” In other words, as CNBC’s John Harwood tweeted, “Paul Ryan tells me House will pass immigration ‘path to citizenship.’ Despite flak on right, ‘House can/will deal with earned legalization.’”
Republicans should back the Senate’s pending immigration bill, Gov. Jeb Bush said at a news conference Thursday. The possible GOP presidential candidate and former governor of Florida, said the bill can improve the nation’s long-term economic strength by spurring population growth, and the GOP can gain by breaking the politics of “stasis” in favor of diversity. “I’m actually very pleased with the ‘Gang of Eight,’” he told attendees at an event hosted by the Bipartisan Policy Center, shortly after he spoke with Republican leaders in the House.
It wasn’t just the Tea Party: it has been widely reported that the IRS also has harassed and discriminated against pro-Israel charities, in particular those that support settlements in Judea and Samaria. In the Free Beacon, Alana Goodman pursues the story: A Washington Free Beacon investigation has identified at least five pro-Israel organizations that have been audited by the IRS in the wake of a coordinated campaign by White House-allied activist groups in 2009 and 2010.
Politically influential Muslim activists are pushing to reduce the FBI’s role in countering Islamic terrorism and are seeking greater federal reliance on hard-line orthodox Imams. The White House’s “Countering Violent Extremism” program “did not produce the results a lot of us were hopeful … [and] kind of collapsed towards the end of last year,” complained Mohamed Elibiary, a Texas-based advocate who was appointed to the Homeland Security Advisory Council.
The Daily Caller reports that Marco Rubio has a history of opposing enforcement of immigration laws. As Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Rubio blocked efforts to deal with illegal immigration at the state or local Miami level. According to the Daily Caller, the record shows that Rubio used his power as Speaker to block legislation to tighten enforcement even after such legislation had sailed through committee. He even opposed, and thwarted, bipartisan legislation to deport 5,000 illegal immigrant prisoners in Florida jails.
On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin said that it was too early to call for a special counsel to look into the Justice Department’s monitoring of journalists. Instead, Durbin said he backed a “media shield law,” but was not sure if such a law would protect bloggers or “someone who is tweeting.” "You’ve raised an important point and I heard Sen. Graham call for special counsel,” Durbin said. “I’m not ready to do this at this moment. I would like to know if Holder has any conflict in here beyond what we heard when it comes to the Fox case.”
The Spaniards already boast some of the weirdest festivals in the world, such as the bull running of Pamplona and the world’s biggest tomato fight, but this one definitely tops the list. The annual Jarramplas Festival in Piornal involves hundreds of villagers attacking a man dressed in a devils mask with 15,000 turnips. The best part? No-one really knows why. A young man from the village is selected to be the 'Jarramplas' - the scape goat - and dresses up in a costume made from colourful strips of fabric, donning a devil-like mask with great horns and nose. FORNEY, Texas - George Zimmerman, the former Florida neighborhood watch leader cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, was pulled over for speeding in North Texas on Sunday, CBS DFW reports. According to the station, Zimmerman was armed when officers pulled him over on Highway 80 in Forney, east of Dallas. (Snip) The officer reportedly did not recognize Zimmerman, who was driving a Honda pickup. Zimmerman told the officer he was armed and was then told to put the weapon in his glove compartment, according to the station.
Mark Levin, who hosts one of America´s top radio talk shows and is considered by supporters to be the people´s pundit on the Constitution, is rallying his 8.5 million-strong audience to demand an historic convention of state governments to halt the "oppressive power" of the federal government. The author of two New York Times bestsellers on the threats to the Constitution, Levin hopes his latest, "The Liberty Amendments," out mid-August, will spark the state lawmakers to tap a rarely used Constitutional provision to institute measures that would brake President Obama´s use of executive orders, bar thousand-page laws and
Arizona Sen. John McCain was the Republican Party´s 2008 presidential nominee and he still wants the keys to the Oval Office. But he is beginning to sound more like a fan of likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. "She´s a rock star," he said in a newly released interview. "She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world," he added in a reference to her work as secretary of State. McCain, reportedly trying to win back his reputation as a GOP maverick, was asked by the New Republic
President Obama has been rolling up his sleeves campaigning across the country delivering a surreal stump speech message supposedly aimed at the middle class: big government works, Obamacare is manna from heaven, the wave of recent scandals are “phony” figments of the imagination, and all economic problems are the fault of the Republicans. Conveniently, he leaves out the bankruptcy of Detroit, a city run by his own party for more than half a century. His message is so stale and unconvincing, that even The New York Times and Washington Post have noticed. Both papers, usually loyal to Obama, remarked that
The former commander of special operations in Northern Africa told a closed-door briefing today that he was largely detached from events the night of the Benghazi attack as he was traveling at the time. The testimony of Col. George H. Bristol, USMC, Former Commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Africa, had been eagerly anticipated by members of Congress. Originally, lawmakers had been told by the Defense Department that he had retired — the actual date is Aug. 1, an “administrative error” according to the Pentagon — and that they didn’t have
Gotta figure her lead would be even bigger without Joe Miller in the field here. Her nomination for the taking? Alaska should be a top tier pick up opportunity for Senate Republicans next year…but their top choice of a candidate is Sarah Palin. 36% of GOP primary voters in the state say they’d like Palin to be their standard bearer against Mark Begich to 26% for Mead Treadwell, 15% for Dan Sullivan, and 12% for Joe Miller.
Embattled Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner and an attorney in the Federal Election Commission’s general counsel’s office appear to have twice colluded to influence the record before the FEC’s vote in the case of a conservative non-profit organization, according to e-mails unearthed by the House Ways and Means Committee and obtained exclusively by National Review Online. The correspondence suggests the discrimination of conservative groups extended beyond the IRS and into the FEC, where an attorney from the agency’s enforcement division in at least one case sought and received tax information about the status of a conservative group,
Sen. John McCain — a Democrat? There was confusion Wednesday after the Arizona Republican mistakenly strolled into President Obama’s meeting with Senate Democrats at the Capitol. The room full of Democrats — who happened to be meeting in the same room where the Senate GOP usually holds their weekly policy luncheons — erupted in applause and laughter as the former Republican presidential candidate made his entrance. As McCain, 76, walked out of the Dem-filled space, reporters pressed him as to why he stepped foot in the room.
In an interview on National Public Radio (NPR), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said her new agenda for women will give mothers access to day care so they can “earn without carrying the burden of child care.” During the interview, aired on Weekend Edition Sunday, Pelosi spoke about her newly announced agenda, which is on her website, and is titled, “When Women Succeed, America Succeeds: An Economic Agenda for Women and Families,” a plan that includes universal pre-school and access to day care for working women, and an increase in the minimum wage.
Karl Rove and more than one hundred Republican donors sent a letter to Republican members of Congress on Tuesday, urging them to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would include, among other provisions, granting "legal status" to illegal aliens who meet certain criteria. Anticipating that lawmakers will face resistance to the bill when they go home for the August recess, the letter marks the escalation of a campaign in which Republican leaders and donors are pressuring House Republicans to act on an immigration reform bill.
No matter how much you may hope for it, it seems unlikely that you´ll be using the phrase "Senator Sarah Palin" with any great regularity in 2015. A new poll indicates that the former Alaska governor is about as popular in the state as Barack Obama — which is to say, not very popular at all. But even more surprising, while the former vice presidential candidate has made Alaska a central part of her public image, the state´s residents split on the question of whether Palin is all that Alaskan. Conducted by Public Policy Polling,
In her first speech since taking over the Environmental Protection Agency, Gina McCarthy came out swinging Tuesday and promised to ramp up the aggressive climate change agenda laid out by President Obama.(snip)“Can we stop talking about environmental regulations killing jobs? Please, at least for today,” she said during remarks at Harvard Law School. “We need to cut carbon pollution to grow jobs. We need to cut carbon pollution to strengthen the economy. Let’s talk about it positively. Let’s approach this as an opportunity of a lifetime. There are too many lifetimes at stake.”
