Are Some in the Chain of Command

RUSH: Now to the phones since it's Open Line Friday. Doug in San Antonio. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hello. CALLER: Hi, Rush. Thanks. I wanted to speak to the question of when the president knew and why Secretary Panetta refused to support the CIA annex request either to move to the consulate or to reinforce. Within a few minutes of the consulate being under attack -- I'm a retired lieutenant colonel special operations planner for 15 years -- the personal security detail for the ambassador notified the

This is the article related to the phone call Rush received from a retired Lt. Colonel who shows once again how the regime is lying regarding Benghazi. It is devastating for the regime.

( Tightening up tinfoil hat) I think that this is a wag the dog scenario. I think this was a setup to kidnap the ambassador, allowing for a month of negotiations for his release, maybe a trade for the blind sheik. When the attack took place, the powers that be here were all aware of it within the first few minutes. When the Seals wanted to intervene, they were told to stand down again and again! Why? They intervened, and were killed, along with the ambassador. The plan set up for Obama to come to the rescue caved in around him, and here we are. If any of this is remotely true, this is not my America anymore!

I hear an echo of Mogadishu here.
Black Hawk Down.
While our troops fought, the political leadership dithered. This was Clinton time after all.
In Benghazi it was even worse, since the next day Obama started lying about mobs of movie haters. The lies have continued in one form or another ever since.
Our heroes in Benghazi fought like crazy. Dozens were saved from the consulate, but at the safe house, help never came. They were on their own and 2 heroes died.

Despicable.

I referenced this in a post above...hadn't seen this yet.

I do calling into business IT departments and happen to call a man in Oregon this afternoon. He wasn't the right person I was supposed to speak with but we got to talking.

We talked for 45 minutes....2 complete strangers 1600 miles apart. We started talking about the economy, then (tentatively) about the election. When it was "safe" one of us mentioned we needed a change. Then we talked about Rush, we had both heard this call...and it went on from there. He's also an Ldotter, but didn't mention if he was registered.

I told him I thought all people from Oregon smoked pot and lived in trees...and of course, he did not have the best impression of Illinois. He said that except for a few pockets OR was red and I said that except for Cook....so was Illinois.

He's afraid to speak openly around others...and so am I. When you think about it...a random call to person in Oregon from an Illinoisian...what are the odds on both being conservative?

We agreed when will raise our voices on Nov 4th...Loud and clear!.

the more we learn, the more #1's assessment makes sense. this was trotted out early on and many said ''oh come on - that's just tinfoil hat territory''. Then people started talking about guns and weapons and Syria/Turkey/Iran. And again, we heard a lot of ''you people are looking for conspiracies under every rock''.

Now I've reached the point where I could consider either scenario probable. And, in my mind's eye I can see President Jarrett whispering to the Leader that if this all goes bad it will negatively effect his campaign. We're all left peeling onions, with precious little help except from Fox and talk radio...

This story really demonstrates the parallel universe we have inside this country. You have millions of people absolutely appalled that a president would allow 4 Americans overseas to be killed and millions more wishing Hillary Clinton a happy 65th birthday like she had no role in this debacle.

I've always known liberals are cold and callous, calculating and get away with it by pretending to care about this or that group. It's sickening to see polls where people think "Obama cares about me". Sure he does and he's like a cold fish to shake hands with.

I'm not sure if Romney "cares about me" and I really don't care because it wouldn't affect me one way or another. What I want him to care about it restoring the country back to some semblance of order and dignity to the office.

The left is developing a fallback position that if Romney wins by a squeaker, here should be some sort of co-presidents.The worse case is if Romney wins the electoral vote and Obama the popular.I would suspect the most rabid Obama supporters already live in blue states which has little big picture value.

Half a century ago I was a communications tech in a nuclear-capable unit. In a three-year period there were two occasions when I began document transmission with a small header that set off alarm bells at every station it went thru and seized control of automatic repeaters. Within minutes those documents were delivered to their addressees. We also used unsecure [as well as secure] voice communication where a single word triggered immediate actions. The WH knew.

#1, the scenario is beginning to sound plausible. And when you factor in that the Muslim Brotherhood is demanding we release the Blind Sheik, I begin to wonder if there was going to be an exchange: We give them the Blind Sheik and they release our ambassador and the other Americans.

It's not our America, but it sure sounds like Obama's.

On Saturday, President Obama handed over the camera and teleprompter to the mother of a victim of Sandy Hook Elementary shooter Adam Lanza. Explaining his exploitative choice via email to his entire WhiteHouse.gov email list, Obama explained: Each week, like many presidents before me, I sit down to record a short address to the nation. It´s something I take very seriously because it offers a chance to bring focus to an issue that needs to be part of the national dialogue. But today, I´ve asked someone to take my place.

"Comprehensive immigration reform" is shaping up to be the next Obamacare. By negotiating in secret, by drafting an enormously complicated bill, and by rushing passage with almost no time for public debate, the Senators who are pushing immigration reform are following the same path that divided the nation in 2009-10 and led to one of the worst expansions of federal regulation, spending and power in American history. Though they may have the best of intentions as regards the underlying result, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and his colleagues in the

Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst.
