Why Obama Will Win
The Daily Beast, by Robert Shrum

Original Article

Posted By:brianod1, 10/26/2012 10:51:09 AM

Was it all a bluff? As Mitt Romney’s ‘surge’ erodes, the Republican nominee’s campaign faces reality. Across the swing states, the polls show the president holds the advantage. We have now witnessed the penultimate phase of Mitt’s moderate makeover tour. He pleaded nolo contendre in the final presidential debate—perhaps wisely because his comprehension of foreign policy evidences all the depth of a sound bite. Every time he’s touched Libya, for example, he’s been burned—and that night, even as he all but endorsed President Obama’s foreign policy. Mitt, ever heard of the Persian Gulf?

A reminder that it's not over 'til its over, and that we have to go the extra mile to ensure a Romney victory.

A kool-aid drinking party hack looking at the election from a party hack point of view.

Look at the election from the point of view of regular people, regular people who see through the crap, and the diversions, and the complicated explanations, and the campaign tricks and see the real man behind the curtain: a personally weak, effeminate, hateful little man with a hateful, bitter resentful attitude, overlaying a hard over ideological bent - a grasping COMMUNIST bent on subjugating us all for the benefit of his baying, perverted consorts and fellow travelers - bent on turning America not into Greece, but Iron Curtain Albania.

I spit at this . . . man.

Battling gang violence has been one of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s top priorities. But one of Emanuel’s top appointees, CTA Chairman Terry Peterson, appears to have taken a different tack in the mid-1990s: Lobbying for the early release of the imprisoned leader of the Gangster Disciples — one of the largest and deadliest street gangs in Chicago, the Better Government Association has learned.

Using anti-science exuberance, for the last few days, the media have pom-pommed someone´s ethereal projection that the economy had created 200,000 or so jobs in July. The fact that our media would consider 200,000 jobs (which hardly keeps up with population growth) worthy of pom-poms is grotesque enough. Even more appalling is spinning manufactured positive news-cycles for President Obama based on proven nonsense like the ADP´s jobs projections.
