The tormented Staten Island teenager who killed herself by jumping in the path of a train was bullied to death by classmates after she had sex with four football players, police sources said Thursday. Felicia Garcia, a 15-year-old freshman at Tottenville High School, was driven to her death after two 17-year-old classmates blabbed about the encounters. “Kids are saying she had sex with some guys from the football team at a party after the game,” said a friend of the doomed girl who asked not to be identified. “Later on they wouldn't leave her alone about it. No matter what she did or why she did it, she was still an underage child. RIP.

Bullying is learned at home and is repeated outside of home.

FTA: Felicia’s life began spinning out of control Saturday when she went to a post-football game party and agreed to have sex with some of the players, police sources said.

No. Felicia's life began spinning out of control way before then. She was a "a chronic runaway who had been reported missing seven times" who agreed to have sex with four different guys at the same party.

Her death is tragic for her friends and family. But it is the result of a final bad decision in a long series of bad decisions.

Flame away.

May the Lord provide this young girl peace in death she was unable to find in life. And may He console her family and the folks in that train that will live with this tragedy.

As for the bullies and dirtbags that led to this death, well, that's His paygrade to deal with at sometime. I hope He does.

Oh, by the way, ABC's Nightline had a story about girls as young as 12 using porno and posting suggestive pics online ... with it all okay with her "feminist" mother and father, who I will not describe on this site as it would be "saloon, not salon." Maybe if mom and dad and ABC News (who was doing the piece as a shill for some "documentary producer) thought about these consequences of blantant sexuality, especially among young girls, some of this would STOP.

And the football players, #3? Who were more likely 17 & 18? When did their lives "spin out of control?" OH, that's right, they are working on scholarships, fame & fortune. They walk away unnamed & without a second thought.

It's just the troubled 15-yr-old GIRL looking for acceptance, because her family -- most likely -- did not give it to her, that we point at with our self-righteous fingers.

Why is she a slut (according to her bullies) & these football jocks are not? Why, why, why. It's 2012 & we still ignore the molesting males, who very likely are going on to live successful lives.

I believe this poor young girl is with The Lord now. She is better than we can imagine or think. I really feel for the anguish of her family. I pray that much love and strength will surround them in the coming days. To have to think of the pain she endured that led to this would be so terrible.

Well #7, she's 15 and having consensual sex! The Jocks didn't force it on her, but they found someone willing didn't they? (and yes they are Jerks too, so what's your point?)

Felicia was a "Profesional Runaway" and obviously not right for some reason. Whatever her problem, she was massivly screwed up and wasn't "the sweet little girl next door" they are angling for in the article. For all we know, she was Bi-Polar or had some other kind of serious issues. Whatever they were, they are definatly over now. May she RIP.

Maybe she was a "professional runaway" because her parents were worthless self-centered twits. Maybe she had to endure being molested by mom's boyfriends or she was treated like dirt and rejected. I have had friends who were chased out of their homes as children. We don't know what happened. Yes, she made bad choices but as others said, maybe she was just looking for acceptance she couldn't find at home or elsewhere. Either way, the jerk jocks are not paying for thier immaturity and bullying. They are going on with their lives.

What's my point?? Last time I checked, 17/18 year olds having sex with "willing" 15 year olds can be brought up on charges of statutory rape. There is a HUGE difference between Freshmen & Seniors. That's why we have that law. Young, lost & unloved 15 year old girl meets popular & powerful older jocks. Easy prey. My dad was a coach. I have no illusions that all athletes are stellar individuals. Some are, some aren't.

Second point: ever checked into foster care lately?? Molestation, physical abuse, etc., are rampant, as these people just want the foster care money. If I were in the foster care system, I have little doubt that I would be a "professional runaway" from them, too.

Why do these guys get no mention here? Only the "loser" immature, lost girl who took her life because it sucked so bad. Yeah, she was the loser all right. She wasn't born into a family like we enjoy here.

This poor child needed unconditional love that children with parents have but instead she had a series of foster homes and was used and humiliated by her peers. How could anyone view her death as just punishment for sex?

Ultimately, this is the logical ongoing actions of a society that has gone down the toilet since the ''free love'' philosophy of the lie-berals overcame our society in the 1960's.

Feminism and lie-beralism, with their goals of taking God out of our public lives, have made girls believe that their sexuality isn't something sacred and special.

Teenage boys have always been raging towers of hormones. But society, church and girls with self respect used to keep that in check. But no more, thanks to secularists and lie-berals doing everything they can to destroy morality in our nation.

God have mercy on our souls!!!

I agree with you #7/#11. Also, #14, I hope you're right about some posters. Don't know when it began that a young girl who grew up in Foster care and was bullied for being different and being naive enough to think those "football-playing-jocks" who took advantage of her actually cared about her would become the target of even more bullying after her death, but it is sickening. I Pray she is now at Peace and in a better Place.

re #15: "Teenage boys have always been raging towers of hormones. But society, church and girls with self respect used to keep that in check."

While I agree with your post, you do realize that this philosophy is an argument for Burqas? In a more insidious way, we are stoning this freshman girl for what she AND these high school seniors did. Only the train did it for us.

She didn't have sex alone, but it's somehow more her fault for not helping these boys control their raging hormones. As if pubescent girls don't have any!

Too bad Jesus wasn't writing in the sand, naming their sins as well, before she jumped.

We at Townhall have been covering this hotly contested Senate race for months and the results are finally in: With 36 percent of precincts reporting, Elizabeth Warren has been declared the next junior Senator from Massachusetts. Warren has never held public office before and the eye-popping $40 million she raised this election cycle evidently proved more than enough to unseat incumbent Senator Scott Brown. This was the most expensive Senate race of 2012 -- by a long shot.

The Obama and Romney campaigns may be gearing up for a very late night, with one Obama campaign adviser predicting that in Florida alone, "they'll be counting until 2 a.m." The Obama adviser said signs suggest the race is quite tight, though the campaign claimed to be "holding strong" in key battlegrounds like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The adviser also said turnout among black voters in Virginia was better than expected, suggesting that could be a problem for Mitt Romney. Republican operatives in Virginia, though, predicted a razor-thin victory for their candidate in the state.

Washington - Early returns on Tuesday in what is anticipated to be a dead even presidential election contained no surprises, as CNN projected President Barack Obama will win his home state of Illinois and eight other races while Republican challenger Mitt Romney will win nine states. All races called so far went as expected after the roller-coaster ride of an election campaign that was buffeted by a superstorm and missteps on both sides. In Ohio, the former Massachusetts governor takes 56 percent of self-identified independents, compared with 40 percent for President Barack Obama. That’s a huge decrease for Obama from 2008, when the exit polls found him winning independents in Ohio by 12 points, 52 percent to 44 percent for John McCain. The numbers are similar but slightly tighter in Virginia: Romney takes 53 percent of independents there, according to ABC News exit polls, a 12-point lead over Obama. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
