| MUCH OF THE 2012 presidential campaign has dwelt on the past, but the key questions are who could better lead the country during the next four years — and, most urgently, who is likelier to put the government on a sounder financial footing. That second question will come rushing at the winner as soon as the votes are tallied. Absent any action, a series of tax hikes and spending cuts will take effect Jan. 1 that might well knock the country back into recession. This will be a moment of peril but also of opportunity. How the president-elect navigates

The Washington Post is not concerned with the question of who can put the government on sounder financial footing... and endorses Obama?
Makes sense to that paper... given that their Sunday circulation has dropped 15.66% and their daily circulation has dropped 7.84%.
And these guys want to give a rec on which candidate has a better grasp on finances?

Here are the facts people: The followers, endorsers and voters of the Øtard are either: 1. Terminally stupid 2. Evil to the point of supporting our enemies and defiling the entire base American culture - as defined by our Founding Fathers. 3. Greedy for ill-gotten spoils (money and/or power) that are neither earned nor deserved.
Any way that you look at it, we are in a fight for our very lives and way of life. This is the last election where we have a chance to implement laws that may allow us to dig ourselves out. I refuse to associate with anyone who supports the liberal refuse; blow an "air biscuit" in their general direction; and will not "pass water" in their mouths if their guts are on fire. And then, I'm getting real mean.

This miserable rag sold out along with the NYT and all the other marxist cheerleaders a long time ago. And if anyone doubts that statement think about this: Who, what, or what media outlet could endorse this now fully exposed liar, as well what he has and hasn't done in the last four years. Grow up. The Great and Powerful,Treasonous, elitist commies have spoken. To call Obama a "leader" is a wrong. Like the Pied Piper, he showed up to deceive and sabotage the simple, and lead them astray. The question for the ages will be was it Obama's fault or Bushes. Boring, clueless tool of evil Soros. Probably one of Obama's Man Country dates. He swooned, obama swallowed, and a leftist candidate was conceived. You know something like this happened. (But it could have been Soros who swallowed.) Either way, it was Obama's cocaine.

When Huffington departed the 4,400 square foot, seven-story apartment at 227 W. 17th Street in January she´d caused $275,000 in damages ranging from "gouged, stained and otherwise damaged" walls, "scratched, punctured" wood floors, bloodied mattresses and broken appliances, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit charges. "Huffington was using the apartment for large parties and business functions in breach of the sublease and Huffington´s promises," court papers allege.

The Weekly Standard obtained a copy of the program for President Obama’s Easter service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., and reports a few “highlights” from Rev. Dr. Luis Leon’s sermon: We often want things to go back to the way things used to be, before “work got difficult and faith got confused, and life got more confusing,” but when we dwell on the “if only” of life we forget that “God addresses us in the now.” As Jesus told Mary not to hold on to the past, “You cannot go back.”

Although the term "useful idiots" was originally attributed to Vladimir Lenin, its origin is undetermined but it is very applicable to the naïve celebrities in Hollywood and the media now mourning the death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Much like the devotees of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, these grieving individuals have made no effort to learn the truth about those they lionize. One has to feel some pity for the likes of the Sean Penns, Oliver Stones, Michael Moores, Danny Glovers, and idolaters who naively support malignant despots and causes believing them to be a force for good.

Jurors convicted Kilpatrick of a raft of crimes, including a racketeering conspiracy charge that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years behind bars. HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999.
