| UPDATE 10/25/12 — 10:45 a.m.: A Massachusetts court ruled today that Mitt Romney’s testimony can be released to the media. The judge did not lift the gag order on Maureen Sullivan Stemberg, which would have allowed her to discuss what transpired during the divorce proceedings. _______________________________________________________ It’s fall. The leaves are changing colors. Politics is in the air. And for the third straight year, Gloria Allred is representing a woman claiming to have bombshell information she says will affect a political race.
|
Comments: I've read the divorce papers. As Mitt Romney and his attorneys know, there's nothing here.

This is nothing but desperation. No voter is going to try to decide if, twenty years ago, Mitt Romney valued Staples stock differently than Maureen Sullivan's lawyers.

According to TMZ via Drudge:
"Things didn't fare so well for Gloria Allred -- her request to ungag her client was shut down by the hot judge ... because Gloria never submitted an official motion to the court. Gloria was grasping at straws in a last ditch effort to get the judge to cut her a break -- but she was shot down, hard."
It would be nice if somebody could gag Allred!

The judge realized what was going on.
The most important thing here is our getting the word out that Obie was complicit in Gloria's little scheme. They cooked it up at least weeks ago, maybe longer.

Re #7, no, not just their cry for attention. Gloria, the Obot, doing dirty work for her leader. This was cooked up long ago to be pulled off now, just before the election.
Unfortunately her crazy client telegraphed all of that in her bizarre by-name posts at HuffPoo and on Twitter.

Allred and the Huffington Post poster ex wife ( 2,000 posts, many ,many against Romney, Republicans and Mormons ) are... not ..happy. The whole point was to free the wife to slime Romney -from twenty five years ago. The same media that won't touch a scandal from little more than 25 days ago , would have been all over a nothingburger from almost 3 decades ago.

Romney looks honest by not objecting to the release of the papers. Steeerike one!
People have to try to interpret legalese, or rely on a media that most of the population does not trust to translate the documents. Steeerike two!
Client remains unable to legally lob accusations regarding the divorce, that would be amplified by a complicit press. Steeerike three!
Your out, Gloria. Back to the dugout.

FTA ''(Trump) said he’d give $5 million to charity if President Obama released records related to unfounded accusations that he is not an American citizen.''
The MSM is trying to bury Donald's ''big event''. The main thing he asked for were Barry's college transcripts. Trump mostly wants to know if BHO is really as stupid as most of us think he is.
But inquiring minds were probably satisfied - upon hearing Barry admit last night - that his math skills do not extend much beyond 7th grade levels. So he really is innumerate and thus the reason that he can't submit a budget is because he can't figure out figures.

Singer Beyonce and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter traveled to Cuba “pursuant to an educational exchange trip” organized by an authorized company, the U.S. Treasury Department said in response to inquiries from Florida lawmakers. The trip by the celebrity couple spurred widespread media coverage after two U.S. representatives from Florida, Republicans Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart, asked the Treasury who approved the travel and for what purpose. U.S. law prohibits financial transactions for tourist activities in Cuba to prevent funding of the government, which controls the industry. The Treasury permits visits for educational reasons.

These are trying times. Never in the history of this country have we been so weakened and polarized by what many view as deliberate government policy. Now anti-gunners in the U.S. Congress, the Obama administration, and legislatures across the country are seeking to exploit the Newtown tragedy to promote their “gun control” agenda that envisions federal, universal background checks on gun purchases, and that could lead to gun registration and confiscation. At the same time, the increasing militarization of law enforcement, most visibly demonstrated by the growing use of massive, SWAT-type raids on businesses and individuals, sometimes with federal

Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. In a stunning end to one of the most aggressively unsuccessful tenures in retail history, JCPenney (JCP) last night announced that CEO Ron Johnson would be leaving effective immediately. Myron Ullman, Johnson´s predecessor at JCPenney, takes office as CEO. When Johnson was initially wooed by JCPenney, it was to serve as CEO with Ullman as Chairman. In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources.
