Toyboys, bankruptcy, a conman and a raging 25-year war with her ex-husband: The furious 'firecracker' ex-wife of Staples founder gunning to bring Romney down with 'October Surprise'

| For somebody who claims to be known as a ‘firecracker’, Maureen Sullivan is a woman who has been burned more than her fair share. Aged 61, she has been swindled out of $168,000 by a conman, lost a $5m fortune and missed out on a stock market jackpot worth double that. She has gone bankrupt with just $50 in her hand, been sued for defamation and had a string of toyboys, one of whom got her name tattooed on his right arm as a token of his devotion.
|
Comments: Sullivan has got to be one of the most messed-up X-wives in the country. Obama, Axelrod, and Allred should be ashamed to exploit this bitter deranged woman. Read the whole article to see just how unhinged the woman is. She was so vengeful that she spent all her money running up legal fees. Then she had to sell the stock to pay attorney fees. Now she blames Romney for all her problems, same as Barack blames Bush for all of his. Obama and this woman need to be linked together forever.

Poor, poor Maureen. And it's all Mitt Romney's fault! It's no WONDER she feels cheated. She only came away from her marriage with .... ... a $700,000 Boston mansion ... $100,000 in furnishings ... $32,000 a year in alimony ... $24,000 a year in child support ... 500,000 shares of Staples stock which she sold before it grew in value.
Why it's enough to make any woman furious. How was she to know the stock value would increase? How was she to know the toyboys were only after her money? How was she to know the attorneys would keep so much? s/o
Hey, Maureen, just wait until you see Gloria's bill!

Plenty of time to refute everything before the election. In fact, this crazy broad is being totally discredited before anything comes out, if it ever does. So, he told the court that the stock was valued wrong? So he couldn't see the future? Can't have a non-clairvoyant in the White House, now can you?

I am pretty sure that Gloria AllForMyOwnGlory knew all along that this judge would not unseal these court records.
But, this way, the N∅bama camp can start all sorts of rumors using their ever-faithful minions in the MSM. That is all they want -- for the gossip to go viral.
Way too little, way too late, and way too obvious a sign of how desperate the N∅bama camp is to hold on to power...

Just read the divorce papers, appended to another article posted.
Not a chance, Obie. Another exploding cigar. It didn't help Maureen's case that she lied about her own income to the court. But the judge wrote in excruciating detail about this matter and his final decision was that she had proved no wrongdoing.
As for Mitt Romney his testimony is of no concern to him and his lawyers, they don't care whether it is unsealed or not. He told the truth.
Crazy Maureen obviously doesn't understand how stocks work - particularly restricted stock shares - nor does she want to admit that in her greed she did not follow advice given that it would be "prudent" to sell only some of her shares. She sold the whole thing. She might have made more had she waited a while. But even this was unpredictable, and divorce settlements are on real assets at current values, not some hoped-for number in the future.

The point I'm making is that this woman is NOT being presented as a flake in the mainstream media, which is still, unfortunately, where the majority of people get their news. Mrs Sullivan can't blame Romney for her stock quadrupling in price after she sold it. The Republican assault on Susan Rice is a fabricated scandal, attacking her for repeating CIA talking points, almost verbatim, to explain the Benghazi attacks. The U.N. ambassador’s version, even with its omissions, may turn out to be closer to the truth than some of the inflammatory GOP rhetoric. But just because Rice is being unfairly pilloried, this doesn’t mean she would be a good secretary of state. And it’s a close call on the merits: Given her friendship with President Obama, she would be uniquely able to speak as his emissary. But she would also carry some baggage

Earlier this month, the soldiers gave them a run for their money with dance moves and lip synching making do with props from their Afghanistan base. In addition to the tragedy of lost lives and injuries, Superstorm Sandy caused many billions of dollars in property damage. The sad truth: disasters occur every year in America. If you’re unlucky enough to suffer a disaster-related casualty, here’s what you need to know about the federal income tax implications. Theoretically, our beloved Internal Revenue Code allows you to claim an itemized deduction — on Schedule A of your Form 1040 — for personal casualty losses to the extent they are not covered by insurance. Exactly what is a casualty loss?

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.

In a stunning end to one of the most aggressively unsuccessful tenures in retail history, JCPenney (JCP) last night announced that CEO Ron Johnson would be leaving effective immediately. Myron Ullman, Johnson´s predecessor at JCPenney, takes office as CEO. When Johnson was initially wooed by JCPenney, it was to serve as CEO with Ullman as Chairman. In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources.
