A Prayer

Dear Lord God – We, Your people, who acknowledge Your name seek Your face, and ask forgiveness. We, Your people, acknowledge we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We acknowledge Your Judgment upon our country. You have pulled back because we have removed You from our schools, and court rooms, and public forums. You have allowed godless leaders to assume positions of leadership in all institutions. God deliver us now. We have insulted you, by replacing Your holy person with the subtle false gods of fairness and secular humanism. We are being told that

Reminiscent of Daniel's prayer in Scripture. But we certainly cannot take 70 more years of this captivity.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

I read it - praying each and every word as I read.

I'm passing it on. A million people praying this prayer can, and will, change this election.

God will get the glory. And we will get our country back.

Prayer is good. We should all pray. But praying for forgiveness? No. I don't need that prayer. As a believer I know Christ's blood paid for all my sins in my history, in the present and in the future. I simply thank God for the forgiveness that is already mine.

And to be surprised that man makes a mess of things and self destructs? Why would anyone be surprised at that? Scripture gives us all the examples.

No, God is not judging us here on earth and punishing us based upon our behavior. God knows what to expect of us (and it is nothing good). THE GOD OF THIS WORLD is in charge here on earth and, for now, God is pretty much silent accept in THE WORD.

So If you want to insult God and claim the blood of Jesus was not enough and you must ask for forgiveness once again, then go ahead. God will like to hear from you under any circumstances. But He has already forgiven you. All he asks in return is for you to believe it! It is GRACE. A free gift. Just reach out and take it!

What is this "we" business? The repentance commands have nothing to do with confessing the sins of others, the sins of our nation as committed by others. Repentance requires contrition from MY sins and repentance requires MY REVERSAL of course. The God in His kindness may deign to hear my prayer.

It is by MY complicit hand that brought this nation to her knees. She bore ME in freedom and I neglected her foundations in God, and by so doing it was I who neglected God, gave my children over to other gods of indoctrination in public schools, ran my household like a locker room for extra curricular activities for all things but God and family, left the home for career and kids to day care to pursue material gain, never ran for school board, never attended city councils, bit turned all over to an agenda set by cultural liberals and fiscal fascists.

What personal reversal now do I commit to God? Is it enough to win an election, but go back to the habits that reaped this Godless wind?

Just sayin'. We still don't get it about personal repentance, so we may suffer even more, until we do.

First John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin we are deceiving ourselves & the truth is not in us". 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins He is faithful & righteous to forgive us our sins & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (confess in our soul privately). You cannot be in fellowship with God the Father & have mental attitude sins in your soul like arrogance, judgement of others, bitterness, guilt complex, hate, worry etc. Your prayers will go no farther than the ceiling with sin in your soul.

As for the country we have II Chronicles 7:14 in that pastors & priests are no longer teaching the gospel or Bible Doctrine of our Founding Fathers who were not all Christians. Our Republic was founded for Christians as well as non Christians with the Laws of Divine Establishment 1. Volition(freedom) 2. Marriage(man + woman) 3. Family 4. Nationalism with free enterprise & capitalism which is in the Bible. Prayers are needed & so is the Tea Party & 2010 Voters to save our Republic!!

Tim Tebow reportedly asks to not

No matter how he has played, Tim Tebow has always been regarded as the paragon of sportsmanship and never-say-die persistence. But according to an ESPN report after the Jets’ loss to San Diego on Sunday, Tebow asked out of the wildcat package because he was frustrated with his role in the offense. The report, which cited several unnamed Jets sources, said Tebow’s frustration reached a boiling point Tuesday when he learned he would be passed over for the starting opportunity when Mark Sanchez was benched. Greg McElroy got the start and was sacked 11 times in a 27-17 loss to the Chargers.

What will Tim Tebow be doing by the time you read this? Will he be leading the Jets to an improbable victory, perhaps even a miraculous playoff berth? Will he be publicly demanding a trade to somewhere like Jacksonville? Or will he be exactly where he was when we last saw him — injured and wasting away on the Jets’ bench, weathering nasty cheap shots from teammates, like the one who sneered to The Daily News: “We’re depending on miracles? You can’t play that way”?

When Americans pray, we pray to the God who reigns in America. We believe He is the one true God. According to the Bible and the Nicene Creed, He is a Triune God: Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. And He is the God of the Hebrew Shema: “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.” That divine nature is a mystery to our minds. (Snip) He is: Jesus, The Christ, the Messiah, The Beautiful Savior, The Anointed One. He is the Sacrificial Lamb of God. He is the Word, by Whom all things were made.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

More than six months since Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated by terrorists in Benghazi, the Obama administration is still trying to keep a lid on information about the attack. Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.

Myron Ullman, Johnson´s predecessor at JCPenney, takes office as CEO. When Johnson was initially wooed by JCPenney, it was to serve as CEO with Ullman as Chairman. In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources.
