Barack Obama is a Liar
American Thinker, by Selwyn Duke

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 10/25/2012 8:10:59 AM

Calling someone a liar is a serious accusation. This is why, aside from the unwritten contract allowing for mutual prevarication, politicians are so reluctant to do it. And not just anyone is a liar. Legend has it that our first president said, "I cannot tell a lie," but, being only human, G.W. no doubt could and certainly did, at some point. A liar, however, is someone who lives and breathes the lie; someone who specializes in the art of artifice; someone to whom lying is his first recourse, not his last. Such a man is Barack Obama.

It's what a Flim-Flam pResident does.

While it's understandable for politicians to use this charge very cautiously, most of us could call it long ago without that restraint.

Joe Wilson was right, Pelosi's scowl notwithstanding.

0bama lies all the time; I do not think he knows what the truth is. I am starting to believe the stories that the ambassador was there doing Hillary's dirty work, and they could not afford to have the story get out. 0bama and Hillary thought they could just "lie" their way out of it. They say our government was providing arms to some rebels, and when it got out of control, they sent the ambassador over to clean up the mess. Makes sense when you consider all the lies and cover up over what actually happened.

Obama lies because he can get away with it. I am sure he always has. Watch him on stage. After he tells a whopper, he smiles really big and then laughs. The peons don't even realize that he is laughing at them because they actually believe what he is saying. He has such disdain for others that it is sick.

# 9, Mister Dickens, please know that William Safire was a professional apologist for a major prevaricator, Richard Nixon. Safire savaged the former WH counsel, John Dean, for a year in his NYT columns until the WH tapes exposed Safire as a distorter and/or ignorer of reality. Safire had to apologize to the Watergate whistle blower in his "you're a better man than I am, Gunga Dean" column.

Same blind loyalty to a lying failure is now rampant throughout the NYT's adoring coverage of Obama and the paper's equally savage editorial attacking Romney as "incoherent".

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

What Americans say in public about same-sex marriage isn´t necessarily a good barometer of public opinion, because, if we´re going to be honest, there´s a huge discrepancy between the opinions that Americans express in polls and the opinions they express at the polls.(snip)It´s important for Americans to understand that the same-sex marriage campaign is about the disenfranchisement of dissenters, not empowerment. The protests, the social media memes, the entire agenda is about demonizing opponents of same-sex marriage

Before America embarks on changing the concept of marriage, I hope they will at least agree on examining cultures that do not define marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman. In their eagerness to achieve their goals, the pro gay marriage enthusiasts are marching towards what they perceive as progress and modernity while ignoring lessons from other cultures, history, basic human nature and the horrific and negative unintended consequences of redefining "marriage". Islam´s definition of marriage is one man and up to four women

During the highly publicized exchange between Bill O´Reilly and Laura Ingraham on gay marriage, O´Reilly made this statement: "There are Bible thumpers, and all they do is say, ´I object to gay marriage because God objects to it.´ You don´t win a policy debate in America with that." Really? Before central control out of Washington was imposed in 2003, policy arguments for criminalizing homosexual acts were won explicitly "with that." And because of "that," the idea of gay marriage has been unthinkable throughout the history of the American nation.

It´s one thing for President Obama to be cocky and overstate his prowess at governing. People are used to politicians grabbing credit, and besides, you can always rationalize when it comes to explaining why things didn´t quite work out as you claimed they would - "the sequester ate my recovery" being the latest successful-enough example. But sports is something else. The basketball either goes through the hoop or it doesn´t. That´s why President Obama´s history of braggadocio regarding his prowess at hoops is having a potent effect on his overall public image, especially with those who are favorably inclined to him.

We have already seen Peak Obama; from here on, it´s going to get rougher and rougher for Barack Obama. Even worse, the one word he must fear the most has just been uttered by a man regarded as a bit of a truth-teller among liberal elites. Joe Klein, the celebrated author "Anonymous," who wrote the best selling, truth-telling book Primary Colors about the 1992 primary campaign that brought us President Bill Clinton, has made it ok for liberals to apply the word "incompetence" to the Obama administration. This represents something of a breakthrough. Until now, it has been taboo

The CEO of Starbucks basically told a shareholder that if the shareholder believes in traditional marriage he should dump his Starbucks stock. Historically the job of the CEO has been to make money and increase shareholder value. It would seem telling people who don´t share the CEO´s personal beliefs, whether it´s gay marriage or abortion, to dump the companies stock is not a pro-shareholder action. Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it.
