| CBS News has released a clip of an interview by Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes on Sep. 12 with President Barack Obama that indicates Obama knew the assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya was a premeditated terror attack--and suggests the White House later deceived the public by blaming protests against an anti-Islam video. CBS chose not to air the clip for over a month--but did air Obama’s attack on Romney that same night.Obama told Kroft that the attack in Benghazi was different from the violent protest at the U.S. embassy in Cairo: "You're right that this is not a situation that was

I got the 404 message too. Here's a better link (hopefully), tiny version: http://tinyurl.com/9rpa4dt
But I'd venture that they didn't recognize what they had. Because if they did, and they deliberately left it on the cutting room floor - for ''online only'' purposes - then they made themselves complicit in the cover-up that ensued.
My question to them at this point is: Did they decide this on their own? Or did Azzholerod intervene after the interview and lean on them to pull that clip out of the broadcast? If so, what threats did he use to accomplish that? (Or did he have to threaten, at all?)
SeeBS smells a loser, and they're distancing themselves. After all, at some point, this interview IN ITS ENTIRETY may be subpoenaed.

It's disturbing that CBS INTENTIONALY left that part out of the interview OUT. CBS has lost any teanie tiny bit of credibility that they had.

CBS destroyed Sarah Palin because she did not answer Katie's question about what she reads to their satisfaction. They destroyed Dan Quaylle because he misspelled a word, yet they cover up the most horrendous terrorists attacks against America in order to protect Obama and Hillary. There ought to be a law. Blood is on all their hands.

I cannot agree with an above post which suggests that CBS didn't know what they had and therefore left it on the cutting room floor. Remember .... this is the same CBS exposed by Bernie Goldberg' book, BIAS .... the same CBS which applauded and then attempted to cover up for Dan Rather.
They KNEW. So did the other collaborating propagandists of Old Media, who have been carefully trained to bend over and obey their Master in the White House and his handlers. .... CBS and the others have jumped into the sacrificial fire, and I can't imagine why ANYone would ever believe ANYthing they profess in the future.

I said in 2008 that a small majority of American voters had elected a communist for President. Everything that has happened since just reinforces that. If you still can't bear to think that the MSM, Hollywood and 0bama administration are communists, read Whittaker Chambers book Witness - then you'll know what stakes we're playing for.

What this attack is called is a red herring: All y'all, including the media, are far too focused on what Obama called the attack instead of on the FACT that America was attacked and this Administration did nothing to save American lives in Bengazi.
Could this be deliberate? Get everyone sidetracked on what it was called and when, instead of THAT we attacked and to this day are doing nothing about it.
The better question is why have we done nothing about this attack? Could it be because of Obama and the Adminstration having Muslim sympathies? Could it be because American servicemen and other American can be sacrificed on the altar of liberalism until and, likely, after this election?
The emphasis is skewed.

The national "news" organizations have crossed the line that separates misfeasance from malfeasance, IMO.
They think the 1st amendment gives them carte blanche to report or distort as they please, but I disagree.
They have clearly chosen sides in the national political debate and are ACTIVELY attempting to influence the outcome of elections. This has been the case for decades, but they have gotten sloppy and have abandoned even the pretense of objectivity.
Elections effect us all, for those in office have too much power to pass laws that ultimately affect our financial and legal well being. Since the "news" organizations are implicitly or explicitly trying to foist their choices upon the public through active disinformation campaigns, they are now an official cabal and guilty of conspiracy, IMO.
I truly believe RICO applies in this situation.

To me, this article tells the whole story. After the interview they call CBS and tell them not to air that admission and CBS dutifully complies, of course. In their hubris, the admisnistration believed it could maipulate the press, even on a story of this magnitude. For the most part, the press is complying, but the coverup is so blatant that it's making that diffcult.

Obama and his media cabal conflated the Egypt and Benghazi attacks adopting their narrative about Muslim outrage at a video because they were ready to excuse the muslim habit of killing others who don't agree with them and because they were quite ready to sacrifice constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech to be replaced by Sharia law with penalties against any speech against Islam true or not. This is the attitude of the one more sympathetic to Islam than to America!

Since this happened on 60 minutes, I'm not the least surprised. They have been doing this for decades. They probably have a barn full of film clips that never reached the broadcast room. It's the old "give us your film and tell up what you want to portray." The cutters and splicers of film make a tea party look like an axe murder if they want to.
Like other posters, 60 minutes is not allowed on my TV.

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Two officials familiar with the case said Baker was investigated for allegedly groping a female civilian employee after he had been drinking.

Political scientist Charles Murray has never backed away from controversy, but usually his opponents have been liberals. Friday, however, he managed to upset conservatives at the annual conference known as CPAC, where thousands of bewildered Republicans gathered to figure out the way forward after their party’s 2012 electoral defeat. Murray ditched his prepared remarks on “America Coming Apart” in favor of an impromptu admonition to fellow conservatives to accept the legalization of both gay marriage and abortion.

VATICAN CITY—It took Jorge Mario Bergoglio four minutes to convince fellow cardinals he was their leader. Speaking in the Paul VI grand hall of the Vatican, the Argentine cardinal warned the Catholic Church against focusing too much on matters close to home—advice that came against the backdrop of a papacy that had been consumed by infighting among Vatican officials, a dwindling flock in Europe and secular trends in the West. The 76-year-old Father Jorge, as he is known back home, said Roman Catholicism needed to shift its focus outward, to the world beyond Rome—rather than being "self-referential," he said.

When President Obama gets to Jerusalem next week, one of the signals to listen for is an indication of what country he thinks he’s in. Normally this is clear when the President — any president — goes to the capital of a foreign country. He’s in whatever country the capital is capital of. But Mr. Obama has been refusing to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Not only that, but he has been refusing to admit that Jerusalem is even in Israel.

Approaching his first presidential trip to Israel, President Obama offered a fresh and foolish — if not feckless — assessment of the Iranian nuclear threat. "Right now, we think it would take over a year or so for Iran to actually deliver a nuclear weapon, but obviously we don’t want to cut it too close,” the President told an Israeli television interviewer, in the process cutting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu off at the knees and giving the mullahs breathing room to keep enriching uranium.

An unfortunate story on CBS New York Thursday carried this headline: "Officials: 80 Percent Of Recent NYC High School Graduates Cannot Read." It´s a shocker, but it´s also untrue. And to make things worse, the story that followed was riddled with typos. According to the New York Post, which reported the same story earlier on Thursday, "79.3 percent of city public-school grads who went to CUNY’s six two-year colleges arrived without having mastered the basics" of reading, writing, and math, and had to take non-credit remedial classes to catch up.

To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Beyonce and Jay-Z celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Cuba this week. The couple, who married on April 4, 2008, took in the sights of Old Havana, visited a school, dined on a rooftop terrace and strolled the fan-filled streets in their island best.(snip).The power couple declined to answer journalists´ questions about their visit to the island nation, but some outlets are reporting that the moguls are there as tourists, though that would be illegal because of the half-century embargo the U.S. has on the Communist country.
