Obama Knew
National Review Online, by Jeffrey Lord

Original Article

Posted By:MissMolly, 10/25/2012 6:16:01 AM

Obama knew. Say again, Obama knew. So. The question. If what happened in Benghazi wasn't incompetence -- was it ideology? Did Sharia kill Ambassador Chris Stevens, Foreign Service officer Sean Smith, and two Navy SEALs? And is Hillary Clinton's insistence yesterday that the leaked State Department e-mails were "not evidence" yet more evidence that indicates the Obama White House not only knew what was going on but deliberately turned a blind eye to Benghazi because of that ideology? Specifically, did an ideological soft spot for Sharia -- Obama's name is being used by his step-grandmother to raise funds to educate kids in Sharia --

Excellent article and indicts Obama's ideology that he so studiously tries to hide from Americans. I am outraged!

This should be a Must Read.

Mara Liason stated last night that the press was ready to do big stories about Libya, but scrapped them when Romney didnt bring up the issue. Too Which Krathammer stated that its journalistic malpractice to blame the Republican challenger for not covering the biggest scandal since Watergate.

For the "intelligence community" (to use FTA: ''Vice President Biden's words from his debate) to be specifically monitoring Facebook and Twitter for Ansar Al-Sharia means the Obama Administration well knew Ansar Al-Sharia was out and about in Benghazi. Yet somehow it didn't see a threat coming on, of all dates, September 11?'' and, ''Who killed Amb. Stevens? Sharia killed Amb. Stevens.''

0bama is doing exactly what he said he would do back in 2008. Side with the muslims. Every step of the way.

No, 0bama killed Amb. Stevens.

Let’s play “what if.” What if you were a president who had come up through the American left, and all your connections came out of that international globalist socialist movement? You know, the crowd that has joined with the muslim brotherhood and other radical islamic groups to oppose the Israeli “oppressors.”

What if you were in the middle of a losing campaign and heard, through your American leftist friends, that some middle east friends of theirs were planning some anti-American demonstrations on 9/11? What if your people decided to use them to your political advantage, and put together a narrative blaming the demonstrations on an anti-islam video made by a Christian in America, and linking the video with American Christians and that pesky US Constitution?

What if you roll out that narrative in Cairo by issuing an apology even before the demonstrations start? And when all heck breaks loose that evening in Benghazi, might you assume that it’s just part of the political theater you knew was coming? Might you wink at your co-conspirators and head to bed for a good night’s sleep before your Vegas trip the next day? And might your horror at the discovery that people were killed cause you to stick with the planned narrative in a desperate attempt to conceal your treachery?

Who in the White House knew the Cairo demonstrations were coming, and how long in advance?

Yes, but the media was eventually forced to cover Lewinsky and they are now being forced to cover this - just in time for the election.

If there was one single molecule of honor in the entire damnocrat party, they would be demanding zippy's resignation yesterday. But radical ideology and power trumps everything - even dead ambassadors.

Nah, Jeffrey .... you've got it all wrong.
As Hillary, Old Media, Jay, Mara and others at the White House continue to tell us, this is all just a supposition. Besdes, there is no 'controlling legal authority' which will step forward to blame the president. Someone might aim at Hillary, but never at The Won.
.... Besides that, Americans have been doing 'stuff' that angers Islamics, so who can blame them for attacking our embassies and murdering our ambassadors and others?
.... We asked for it.

Like most terrorist orgainzations, Al-Quada is comprised of "cells". That is individual units operating independently towards a common goal. Killing one member, even a very senior member such as Bin-Laden, damages only a very small fraction of the organization, leaving the rest of them untouched and completely operational. This concept is nothing new. Our intelligence agencies know this well. Presumably "The smartest man in the room" would know this also. But no, he crows about Al-Quada being "on its heels". He knows its a lie.

And Hillary, these men whom you knew 'personally' and whom you expressed such pain about losing, why did you leave them to die?

Reply 19 - Posted by: rmagnus, 10/25/2012 8:46:39 AM     (No. 8960307)

The "acts of terror" reference in his Rose Garden speech was a calculated insertion of an escape hatch. He knew what really happened and wasn't sure if he would get a media pass on it so he (i.e. Valerie Jarrett) inserted this ambiguous reference to terror so he could use it for cover if necessary.

I like how the new spin includes that the information in the e-mails is "social media", as if e-mails are only used for teen gossip. I wonder if Stevens had made a phone call Hillary would refer to phones as "social media" too to downplay his cry for help.

Knowing isn't the issue. It's what he did when he found out that needs exposure.

Romney was dead on correct when he told the joke about the media's job being to hide Mitt's plan for America. He could easily have dropped the other shoe about hiding Obama's actions but too gentlemanly for that.

As other posters have suggested, could the Ambassador have been assured by his gay pal Zero, that this was going to be a staged, election-winning, hostage-taking event, and for them to go along with the plan... with reporters on sight taking pics of *hostages*... Stevens and his men, brave hostages with black material tied over their eyes, and their hands tied behind their back, with snarling terrorists holding guns standing beside them, and the media pleading with the Great Zero to bring home our American Hostages. Great Zero thumps his caved-in chest, brings the hostages home, and their stories glow with love for Great Zero. October surprise. Zero wins election and all the participants get perks.

Reply 37 - Posted by: Bla Bla, 10/25/2012 12:21:00 PM     (No. 8961027)

I have a different take on it.

I think Obama is a pacifist (coward) who thinks if he cow-tows to the Sharia bullies (among other Muslims), they will back down & stop hating/killing us. He is already forcing our troops to announce their presence before they start attacking terrorist cells in the Afghan region. So it will be a "fair fight". As if that's how they play!

He thinks if he goes after them he becomes a GW Bush "cowboy" that will only incite more violence. So he gets tough with the good guys:

Video documentary makers (who expose Islam)
Israel (the Gaza strip occupiers)
Pro-Lifers (anti-women)
Millionaires (Wall Street, Eeeevil Oil; celebs not included)
Tea Party (racists) --
i.e. anyone who has the guts to stand for the truth but is non-violent.

Too bad he didn't grow up learning about America. What happened to Iran's American hostages when "cowboy" Reagan was elected? Carter was the same kind of pacifist coward & they were taken on his watch. These Muslim bullies coughed them up just before Reagan took office! I am absolutely convinced this Embassy attack would have never happened with a man of courage in the WH.

# 33 Of course Mortargate
is a high crime and misdemeanor
and clearly Dereliction of Duty.
It is unimaginable that the Commander in Chief actually watched Americans being slaughtered, shrugged
and then went to bed.
Of course , this same guy has shrugged the past 44 months
over the 1514 soldiers , sailors and Marines that have died
under Valerie Jarrett's command in Afghanistan ,
the 264 service members who have died in Iraq and
the 13 dead soldiers at Ft Hood .
What's another four dead white guys ?
The way Congress is now configured , the House would impeach Obama , but, the Democrat Senate would never convict.
Politically , it would be a huge distraction to start impeachment proceedings.
Don't forget , though ,that
We the People can impeach Obama in 12 days.
Removal will have to wait until January 20, 2013.

Remember “gravitas?” Remember the who-has-it and who-doesn’t discussions about gravitas? (I’ll betcha he even cried all the way to that fundraiser in Vegas.) Those are the kinds of presidential qualities he possesses. He knows what his priorities are. He never loses sight of his serious commitments and responsibilities. Oh, and thanks to his nanny, Valerie Jarrett, he now knows gravitas is not what you pour over your mashed potatoes.

I think #7s scenario is highly credible, and there are other theories out there that go even farther,in what the plan was. But bottom line - the behavior of inaction that was on display here can be completely explained by the idea that this was an expected event. I just differ with the concept that obama et al were horrified at the murderous turn that it took. Horrified that it can be their downfall, maybe, much more than the horror at the loss of life. These people have no souls. I am boiling, boiling mad.

From a previous Lucianne post:
http://www.oregonmag.com/blasphemy-begets-conspiracy-theory/"

"So, did someone encourage Mideastern TV stations to suddenly focus on a dated, obscure film’s existence? Who has ties to the Hollywood/internet powers that be who would know what motivates news and what doesn’t, and then who or what organization took advantage of the turmoil to where our embassies were stormed and/or burned in multiple countries? One could claim a conspiracy about an election-year October surprise occurring in September, caused and/or fomented by a 2012 Plumber’s group connected to an Administration from none other than Chicago."

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky took his message of GOP inclusion to historically black Howard University Wednesday, where he received a polite but tough reception. It was likely the fairest hearing any prominent Republican was going to get, given the GOP´s long-standing struggles with African-American support. And the fact that Paul decided to speak at Howard in the first place did more for him and a party focusing on minority outreach than anything he actually said. "Some have said that I´m either brave or crazy to be here today," he told the audience of faculty and students.

A couple of months ago, François Hollande was presented with a baby camel by local authorities in Timbuktu in appreciation for France’s military action against Islamist militants in Mali. The animal did not come quietly. Hollande had initially hoped to have the camel vaccinated and transported to a Parisian zoo, but decided it would be easiest for the French and best for the beast if it were entrusted to a local Timbuktu family who had suffered damage to their property from French tanks. It appears that his trust was misplaced.

An attempt by Colorado lawmakers to ban welfare recipients from withdrawing their benefits at ATMs located inside strip clubs was killed by Democrats Thursday night, even though the state House’s third-ranking Democratic legislator supported the measure. Democratic Rep. Dan Pabon lent his support to the Republican-led proposal, offered as an amendment during a debate on the state budget Thursday night, because it would hew to a similar federal rule, according to the Denver Post. Pabon introduced a bill on the issue two years ago, but it didn’t clear the state Senate. State welfare recipients receive their benefits

Add the name of Michelle Lynne (ne Robert) Kosilek to the list of modern phenomena the Founding Fathers would definitely not appreciate being blamed for. Little did they know what havoc they would someday wreak by adding the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution to prohibit “cruel and unusual punishment.” Now comes Kosilek, a convicted wife murderer doing life without parole. He/she is claiming that it would be cruel and unusual punishment to deny him/her a sex-change operation — excuse me, “gender-reassignment surgery.”Not to get too graphic, but Kosilek is begging for elective amputation of a body part.

In 2011, the journalist Mara Hvistendahl published Unnatural Selection: Choosing Boys Over Girls, and the Consequences of a World Full of Men, detailing the societal effects of sex-selective abortions that target women the world over and resulted in the absence of perhaps more than 100 million girls who by now should have been born. But Hvistendahl soon learned the downside to uncovering what many believe to be a shocking trend in human rights offenses: people will want to do something about it. And so she lashed out, declaring that “anti-abortion activists

Rothman chastised Carson for his comments and met with graduating students concerned that the famed physician was an inappropriate commencement speaker.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

Is Anthony Weiner completely delusional? Or is he out of his flipping, sex-crazed gourd? Whatever big-busted fantasies crawl around the ex-congressman’s delirious noggin, la Weiner made his next goal as clear as the skin of the wholesome college students he craved: He relishes being Mayor Weiner. Please, shut up this clown. These days, the genitally obsessed Weiner has nothing much to do, except sit in his lavish Manhattan apartment and — the inhumanity! — change the poopy diapers of his 16-month-old son, Jordan. Worse, Weiner is living under a kind of house arrest, sentenced to take extreme grief

(Snip) Sixteen Republicans voted in favor of the motion, while two Democrats — both from states President Obama lost in the 2012 election — voted against it. The two Democrats were Sens. Mark Begich (Alaska) and Mark Pryor (Ark.), both of whom face reelection next year. The 16 Republicans who voted to proceed were

Remember little Anthony Freemont, played by cute little Billy Mumy, in one of the "Twilight Zone´s" most famous episodes? In the opening sequence Rod Serling informs us: "A monster had arrived in the village. Just by using his mind, he took away the automobiles, the electricity, the machines -- because they displeased him -- and he moved an entire community back into the dark ages -- just by using his mind. . . . and the people there have to smile. They have to think happy thoughts and say happy things because once displeased, the monster can wish them into a cornfield

Seven hundred Military Special Operations professionals. And one insistent and very angry Mom. This is becoming a deadly combination for the political game players in the Obama Administration. Sean Smith, the young State Department computer wizard who was brutally murdered that September night in Benghazi, was Pat Smith’s only child. Let’s say that again. Sean Smith was Mrs. Smith’s only child. To listen to her recent radio interview with another Sean… Sean Hannity… is to have the heart break.

Infant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure. Haven´t heard about these sickening accusations? It´s not your fault. On Thursday, in the midst of ongoing national debate over prospective gun control and comprehensive immigration legislation, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said that he didn’t need the approval of a majority of his own party to move forward with legislation. Referring to the so-called Hastert Rule, named after former House Speaker Denny Hastert (R-IL), which dictated that House leadership not bring up any bill for a vote without the support of a majority of the majority party, Boehner said, “Listen: It was never a rule to begin with.” Then, realizing the gravity of admitting
