On the heels of Gloria Allred's claim that she will deliver an 'October surprise' that will secure Barack Obama’s re-election, it has been revealed that the celebrity attorney spoke with the president one-on-one at a star-studded fundraiser two weeks before. Allred caught up with Obama at one point during the ’30 Days to Victory' fundraiser at LA's Nokia Theatre--an event headlined by Katy Perry, Bon Jovi, Jennifer Hudson and George Clooney. Allred was interviewed outside the venue by O'Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters, who asked her whether she was more into the music

If President Romney suggested that the stocks were of low value, then she got quite a deal, with half a million shares of Staples.
All she had to do was have her own experts evaluate the value, and hold on to the shares. She would have made a bundle.

(I worked with a fellow back in the 1960s, who had purchased xerox stock, at a really low price, and he sold it when it when up a bit, to have carpeting installed in his game room.
That carpeting cost him, in the end, a couple of hundred thousand dollars.
There are thousands of stories from people who bought low, sold too quickly. The woman in the article is simply one of them.)

I still don't get why Romney testifying about a company's worth means we should all vote for 0bama. Are they accusing him of lying about the worth because I doubt he did that. Or are they just very desperate and sealed divorce files are 0bamas go-to fix for tight elections.

Gloria Allweed is working to unseal the court documents so that the NY Times, AP, MSNBC and Reuters can run headlines such as, "Romney's divorce statement creates more questions than answers" and "Documents tie Romney to divorce" and "Divorce documents show Romney's involvement".

Headlines and subheads will give impression that Romney was involved in the divorce, either from a wife besides Ann (polygamy!) or as the lover who broke up a marriage (adulterer!). His actual testimony regarding share value will be buried in para 12.

A group of soldiers competing in the grueling Boston Marathon wearing 40lb backpacks in honor of fallen comrades managed to find the strength to tear down barricades and free trapped victims. Immediately after the terrifying explosions at the race on Monday, photos showed soldiers dressed in fatigues running toward the site of the attack. Army Sgt. Bernard Madore and 1st Lt. Steve Fiola say they never expected to have to mobilize in response to an attack in their hometown but were ready to answer the call of duty. Since the soldiers were fully dressed in their fatigues, some assumed

WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court left in doubt Monday whether gun owners have a 2nd Amendment right to carry a firearm in public. Without a comment or dissent, the justices turned down a gun-rights challenge to a New York law that strictly limits who can legally carry a weapon when they are on the streets. To obtain a "concealed carry" permit, New Yorkers must convince a county official that they have a "special need for protection" that goes beyond living or working in a high-crime area. Only about one-tenth of 1% of New Yorkers have concealed-carry permits, compared to more than 6%
