Misleading America -- and
the World -- On Purpose

Townhall, by Carol Platt Liebau

Now that we know that the Obama administration knew within two hours of the assault that an Al Qaeda affiliated group was claiming responsibility for the Benghazi attacks that murdered Ambassador Stevens, Glenn Doherty, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith, let's take a look back. Here is a devastating video from The Heritage Foundation, showing the Obama administration's concerted efforts to portray the Benghazi terrorist attack on America as a "spontaneous uprising" resulting from outrage over a YouTube video:

With less than 100 views of the video Trailer from when it hit You Tube 4+ months prior for the WH to have knowledge Immediately about it is far fetched unless the trailer was found and they planned to use that video to play into their plan for the "kidnapping" of Stevens so obama could have a Jimmy Carter moment, except with better results for releasing the hostages, trading off the blind sheik. Also, the video produced to play ($75 million) in PAKISTAN and who knows where else had to have been produced prior to 9-11 to come out so rapidly and secure air time to show it.

Benghazi failure had to be covered up to protect Obama for a number of reasons:
1. Al-Qaeda and affiliates are surging, not declining in Africa and Middle East.
2. Overthrowing Qaddafi without a replacement was a mistake; BO does not admit to mistakes.
3. The killing of Osama was a vastly exaggerated success. But it is BO's only "success", so it has to be inflated. See NGeo's made for Obama movie on Sunday evening.
4. We left 35 Americans horribly exposed to terrorists in Benghazi. Most were CIA types, apparently collecting arms to ship to Syrian rebels. Ambassador Stevens had met with his Turkisk counterpart just hours before he was murdered. Turkey is a conduit for arms to anti-Assad forces.

5. BO and his ilk ignored repeated US requests for increased security, apparently to convey image that Libya was another BO success. As above, BO does not admit mistakes. As a god, he forgives himself.

6. Everything BO touches goes wrong, so a lie about the video was seen as a clever smokescreen that was to have lasted through Nov 6th.

Enough. Vote for real change on Nov 6th. Go Mitt!

Like #2 I too believe the WH was in on the attack, kidnapping makes more sense than any story so far because it fits into Obama's MO. Remember Fast and furious? I also assume there are other (illegal) actions they have taken to hurt the US as much as they can, we just haven't heard about them yet.

Politics are far more important to Obama than our dead Ambassador in Benghazi, our 14 military killed in Ft Hood and the 300 dead in Mexico.
Only Univision has called Obama on the deaths in Mexico.
I call that racism.

Arianna Huffington partied so hard in her rented Chelsea loft that it looked like a scene from Animal House after a rowdy frat party, according to a new lawsuit. When Huffington departed the 4,400 square foot, seven-story apartment at 227 W. 17th Street in January she´d caused $275,000 in damages ranging from "gouged, stained and otherwise damaged" walls, "scratched, punctured" wood floors, bloodied mattresses and broken appliances, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit charges. "Huffington was using the apartment for large parties and business functions in breach of the sublease and Huffington´s promises," court papers allege.

The Weekly Standard obtained a copy of the program for President Obama’s Easter service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., and reports a few “highlights” from Rev. Dr. Luis Leon’s sermon: We often want things to go back to the way things used to be, before “work got difficult and faith got confused, and life got more confusing,” but when we dwell on the “if only” of life we forget that “God addresses us in the now.” As Jesus told Mary not to hold on to the past, “You cannot go back.”

Although the term "useful idiots" was originally attributed to Vladimir Lenin, its origin is undetermined but it is very applicable to the naïve celebrities in Hollywood and the media now mourning the death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Much like the devotees of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, these grieving individuals have made no effort to learn the truth about those they lionize. One has to feel some pity for the likes of the Sean Penns, Oliver Stones, Michael Moores, Danny Glovers, and idolaters who naively support malignant despots and causes believing them to be a force for good.

Jurors convicted Kilpatrick of a raft of crimes, including a racketeering conspiracy charge that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years behind bars. He was portrayed during a five-month trial as an unscrupulous politician who took bribes, rigged contracts and lived far beyond his means while in office until fall 2008.

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. The U.S. media is again responsible for the general awareness of these men; these stories deserved — and received — national attention due to our common interest in personal safety, the rule of law

Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.
