Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today advised the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe — a United Nations partner — that groups and individuals from outside the United States do not have jurisdiction to interfere with Texas elections. This refers to the Battle of Gonzales, also known as "The Lexington of Texas" in the Texas Revolution.
The town of Gonzales had been given a cannon by the Mexican government for defense against Indian raids. When things got testy between Mexico and the Texians, the Mexican government demanded the return of the cannon. The Texians said, "Come and take it", and fought off the Mexican troops.

According to the local GOP chairman, Obama actually won Harris, Dallas, Travis and Bexar counties (Houston, Big D, Austin, San Antonio) in 2008 but the other, more rural counties here went for McCain, so Texas went GOP four years ago.
A word of warning: this is significant because part of the Agenda 21 plan will have people living in urban areas in the future; the rural areas are to be populated by wildlife.
The Democratic Party is constantly looking for a new constituency in order to win elections, and "urban residents" is the newest one. Good luck with the food supply when that happens.

The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.
