Who cares what this mean woman thinks? Michelle wears ugly and trashy clothes, and everything looks two sizes too small. Michelle is built like a linebacker, and she has no dignity, no class, and absolutely no common sense when it comes to her clothes. I am always so embarrassed to see Michelle out in public looking the say she does.

Ann Romney has both dignity and class. She dresses like a lady; she acts like a lady, and she will bring dignity and class back into the White House.

Ann Romney can afford to have her own designer. I am fairly certain some young-not so young designer/dressmaker could be convinced to take the job. Angela Kelly is in that position for the Queen.

Michelle has a staff of 23, mostly to try to make her look good. And we are paying for it! Laura had a staff of 3 and always looked good to me and treated everyone with class and style. Ann will do the same.

Really, there's a simple solution to this, which is right down the Romney's alley. Ann should find small designers (nice people who are trying to make it big nationally) and have them make any special clothes she needs.

She would be setting trends (cause she already has a following), helping new designers get big-name recognition, AND supporting smaller businesses. Plus there's the added benefit of snubbing these snobs.

I would lay bets that there are already designers lining up to outfit Mrs. Romney and Mrs. Ryan when their husbands win this November (yes, I said when, not if). Some of those designers are speaking out of both sides of their mouths I assure you. But at the end of the day, they are businessmen/women and they want their designs seen.
On another note, Mrs. Ryan wore a couple of dresses from Talbots at the RNC convention and the libs were furious when Talbots mentioned it on their FB page. I haven't seen any more entries on their FB page since.

Obviously if Ann sported $10,000 dresses like Michelle does the lying media would have a cow man. Expensive clothes mean nothing to serious smart people.

Personally, I thought that grey and black lace number last night (with the bizarro bow broach at the neck) was totally out of place. (Now stand back for the hits that she is elitist and out of touch!) Moochell never wore designer clothes until she began campaigning in 2007 and sought out Chicago boutique owner Ikram to shop for her and provide her with her wardrobe. We read reams about how these clothes flooded the White House, complete with shoes and accessories, jewelry, the works. Sometimes they sort of fit, sometimes they didn't, sometimes they were grossly inappropriate as the weird getup to visit Westminster Cathedral for a private guided tour by its dean. And the big red flowered bare cocktail dress for a posthumous Medal of Honor (daytime) ceremony. The list goes on and on.

Anna may be trying to wield some kind of influence, but I doubt that someone as big as Oscar de la Renta would buckle to it. He is a businessman.

Michelle thinks if she wears something that looks like lace she will appear to be small and feminine. The outfit she had on last night looked like a gray tee shirt with black lace trim. Unbecoming and not flattering at all. She looks like a desperate drag queen.

Ann Romney's dress would have looked good on the Mooch if she could have had it properly altered to fit nicely. And Ann would have looked odd had she worn the bizarrely inappropriate dress that the Mooch wore last night. The difference is that Ann dresses the way her husband likes her to dress (and he seems to have excellent taste!), whereas the Mooch dresses to make other women jealous.
