There is an element of truth to what Obama said, but I doubt he understands it. Mitt still wins on the issue because Obama is backing down from the two-war strategy. So where is your capability, Mr. President?

The control of the seas is critical to US strength and always has been. The British Navy, which ruled the oceans in the 18th and 19th centuries, needed ships, ships, and more ships. Britain always got them.

Obama must have been shocked when he learned of planes that land on ships, and submarines that go underwater. It obviously impressed him so much he wanted to share that with Mr. Romney and the rest of us last night.
The inside things one can learn about the military once they become President.......

Friends say the 41-year-old fire sprinkler technician and West Volunteer Fire Department rookie kissed his toddler goodbye and told his wife, Carman, that he would be right back. Four people were found shot in the head in the basement of a townhouse in an Akron, Ohio, public housing complex on Thursday, according to police. A friend found the bodies shortly before 3 p.m., after entering the home and seeing signs of something amiss, reports NBC News. All four appeared to be shot in the head execution style. Police say they have not found a weapon. Investigators are canvassing the neighborhood and searching for shell casings.

WATERTOWN, Mass. — Massachusetts State Police say a pair of brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings spent the night in a Honda Civic and used it to carjack a Mercedes SUV. Police said Friday at a Watertown news conference that one of the brothers stayed with the carjacking victim for a few minutes and then let him go. They say one brother drove away in the Civic, and the other one drove away in the Mercedes. Police say one then ditched the Civic and reunited with his brother in the Mercedes.

BREAKING: Police at the scene of a wild standoff on Franklin Street in Watertown just applauded as it was announced the second bombing suspect is in custody. Homes have been evacuated on Franklin Street in Watertown after reports of shots fired in the back of a home where SWAT teams have now amassed and police at the scene report the Marathon bombing suspect is pinned down. Police are warning residents on the street to "shelter in place." Women and children were rushed out of homes in that area.

Watertown, Mass.– A number of gun shots were fired near Franklin Street in Watertown Friday night and it was believed that suspect number 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings had been shot. FOX 25's Bob Ward reported that as many 30 shots were fired in the neighborhood. Ward reported that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the man known as suspect 2, was shot by police. It was not immediately known if Tsarnaev was killed. A bomb squad could be seen responding to the scene. A massive police presence was also in the area. So once again, no good deed goes unpunished. Uncle Sam lets another bunch of leeching future terrorists into the country who have absolutely no business being here, gives them “asylum,” making them immediately eligible for welfare, and this is the thanks we get? They turn into mass murderers. We bring in thousands of Muslims from a primitive society that has been battling Christians for centuries, and put them into a peaceful Christian society — what could possible go wrong? This is what I was thinking about yesterday, with much of the city under what amounted to martial law.

We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. The Council on American Islamic Relations again offered sympathy to victims of the Boston Marathon bombing on Friday, but added a plea for Americans not to generalize and conclude that Muslim teachings influenced the suspect in any way. "Our focus is primarily on the victims," said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago chapter at a press conference Friday afternoon. "We don´t want to be drawn into defending ourselves." Citing acts of violence in Boston and New York, Rehab blamed Islamophobic forces for inciting hate crimes.
