It doesn't matter. It was close enough to not matter in any way. Mitt did exactly what he needed to do. Look and sound like a president. No one cares about all the details. Mitt won HUGE when it actually counted, Debate #1. The rest is meaningless...unless he were to make a big mistake, which he obviously did not! CHECK MATE!

Have to agree w/ Mr. Preston here.
Overall, Romney did not hit any home runs, but he didn't need to.
Obama was nearly all negative and petty, and completely condescending. He can't talk of his actual record, and his rhetoric doesn't match what he's done and what he has failed to do.

To start with I want everyone here to know that I am an Independent that does not likes
Obama but prior to tonite's debate my vote choice was limited to Either Vote for Romney or don't vote at all for President.
Tonite I decided based on the overall presentation and "image" I received from each of the participants. For me Romney was defenitely more "Presidential caliber" than Obama. I am now willing to take my chances with Romney and vote for him next month.

In the beginning of the debate they were BOTH wrong on Egypt. We should have stood by Mubarak and pushed him to have a (slightly) more free Egypt. By not doing that we abandoned an ally and allowed the Islamofascist Muslim Bro. to move in and take over. Other than that there were minor points made by both until 0bama couldn't explain why things weren't worse but merely claimed they were better. He had no answers for his failures.

I have to laugh thinking about Obama having to actually work in preparing for these debates.......and him losing the big picture. Heck, he probably knows lots more about foreign policy issues than he ever wanted.

Romney was hurt in the 2nd debate over the Rose Garden thing. Even though we all know Obama was generalizing,it still counted as a jab on Romney. Of course it's Romney's advisers fault that they didn't catch this but he took the shot as a result.
There's really only so much Romney can say on foreign policy without giving away his whole strategy for the left to ridicule.The left would love to say Romney is Bush Doctrine,part 2.Romney can't say he would lead an assault on Iran without being called a war monger.A lot of people are more willing to give Iran plenty of rope as opposed to starting another war,which could conceivably blow up into a world war.
I'm not a big fan of picking a fight with China and I think Romney's being influenced by Trump on this.We know how China operates,it's up to us to be smart enough to work around it.
Just take the unions going after Boeing in SC and you see a major reason China has stolen so many jobs.China has so many jobs they're yanking kids out of school to work.Nothing like that happening here.

It is amazing just how wrong economists were in their predictions for the number of jobs that were to be created in March. The “consensus” figure was 200,000 — a far cry from the actual number created which was 88,000. Totally “unexpected,” as usual. In one way, you can’t blame them. After a better than average gain in February of 236,000 (revised upward this month to 268,000), along with some positive numbers in housing and consumer spending, there were no doubt many analysts who began breathing a sigh of relief and believing that the long-awaited jobs recovery was upon us.
