Media Screams 'Tie'...
With 15 Days to Go

Breitbart News, by John Nolte

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 10/22/2012 3:45:33 PM

The media desperation is palpable this morning. Now they're all stuck on and grabbing hold tight of the word "tie" and phrases like, "It will all come down to ground game." Newflash: We have fifteen days and one debate to go. This thing could still break one way or another. So to pretend that where the race is now is where it will always be, is just wrong. But the media doesn't want to talk about that because they know that if the race breaks it is highly unlikely

That's because if there is a landslide for Romney (I hope there is!) the media will then say "but the polls were so close--clearly the Republicans cheated and stuffed the ballot boxes."

Absolutely correct.

On GMA they used the "tied" word several times.

They have forgotten that they had The Won ahead by 20 just a few weeks ago.

This media spin would be funny if it were not so pathetic. Who will ever trust these tools again.

All of the talk of a tie is political masturbation. Romney has the WIN!

Reply 5 - Posted by: jimboendaatl, 10/22/2012 6:12:39 PM     (No. 8953447)

When Obama was up by a few points, it was "Obama leads Romney" and now that Romney is up by a few points, it's "Race is Statistically Tied"

the moment of truth is coming! Of course they have to tighten polls, or they will look like the incompentent fools we know they are. I have gotten a kick at the desparation from some left sites. Now there is a theory of a tie in the electorial college, geez it ends in an odd number to avoid that possibility. I can't believe these ninnies are allowed to run anything. As the ramblings of these dolts spins more and more into unicorn rainbow land I just know Romney is doing better than they are projecting.

Earlier this month, news broke that CNN was looking to relaunch Crossfire, the famous debate show that pitted two pundits -- one liberal, one conservative -- against one another on the political issues of the day. Sources now tell POLITICO that the network is in discussions with former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and former Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter about roles on the show. "They are talking to Cutter and to Gingrich," a source familiar with the discussions said. "[Cutter] is in discussions; Newt is in discussions too," another source confirmed.

Well that didn’t last long. In fact, it barely happened at all. After a month of ignoring the trial of Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist accused of murdering one woman and seven infants, it looked like the media had been shamed into covering the story. Barely. Even after the most gruesome detail in a trial full of them came out – a baby who survived an abortion “swimming” in a toilet and “trying to get out” – the silence resumed. In fact, the only major news outlet that bothered to report on that testimony was The Chicago Tribune.

Little Martin Richard, the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings, has been laid to rest. “The outpouring of love and support over the last week has been tremendous,” said a statement released this morning from his parents, Denise and Bill Richard. “This has been the most difficult week of our lives and we appreciate that our friends and family have given us space to grieve and heal.” Martin was killed in a bomb blast that injured his mother and younger sister. His family celebrated a private funeral Mass this morning, the statement said. A public memorial service is planned

"I saw an officer and I stopped him and asked, ´Officer, what´s going on?´ " "A kid got shot in the back," he told Rutledge. "I went back there and saw my son's jacket and his gym shoes. In what can be considered a very rare ratings victory for a news network, Fox News beat out all other cable programming in total viewership last week during its coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings. In both total day and primetime totals for the week of April 15-21, Fox beat out cable powerhouses like the USA Network (which typically ranks first), the History Channel, A&E, and Nickelodeon. Election coverage notwithstanding, the last time a news network ranked first among all cable was nearly a decade ago during coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

BOSTON- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told a U.S. Senate panel Tuesday her department knew of one Boston bombing suspect´s trip to Russia. However, the FBI did not know of Tamerlan Tsarnaev´s trip to a region of Russia dominated by Islamist violence, The Hill reported, because an airline misspelled his name on a flight manifesto given to the U.S. government. Napolitano told Senate Republicans her department was aware of Tamerlan Tsarnaev´s departure from the country, but the FBI had closed its investigation of him when he returned, The Hill reported.

“You know, I actually believe my own bull.” That’s what President Obama once told a reporter. If the man ever uttered a statement that spoke more to his approach to politics, I haven’t heard it. Whether it stems from a grandiose overconfidence in his own powers of persuasion, the lessons he took from his years as a community organizer or his own messianic conviction that he is on the right side of everything, including history itself, the president has operated under the theory that he can move the American people to his causes. He can’t. He just can’t.

Illinois donors to President Barack Obama’s second inauguration included aviation giant Boeing Co., which contributed $1 million, and billionaire Penny Pritzker, who was behind two gifts totaling a half million dollars, according to newly filed records. Pritzker, who is being vetted by the White House as a candidate for commerce secretary, gave $250,000 to the Presidential Inaugural Committee, and her private-investment firm, PSP Capital Partners, L.L.C., gave another $250,000. She was among the co-chairs of the 2009 Obama inauguration. Two other donors from Obama’s home state each gave $250,000:

In Obama´s Audacity of Hope, he stated, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in any ugly direction." He also asserted in Bob Woodward´s Obama´s Wars, "We can absorb [another] terrorist attack." These are two straightforward statements that raise the question of whether a man who has been seemingly obsessed with reaching out to "the Muslim world" since taking office is capable of fulfilling his duty as commander-in-chief to keep America safe and secure.

In debate classes or law school, it is often referred to as the ‘arguing against the non-existing opponent’ tactic. The way it works is you imply your opponent is making an outlandish, unsavory claim (though he isn’t), hoping others will run with it or, at worst, that your opponent won’t sufficiently correct it and the claim sticks. To illustrate, imagine Sally is arguing in favor of marijuana’s legalization against Tom. In the middle of the debate, Tom suddenly shrieks: “Well, Sally, you can talk about legalizing marijuana all you want but I just don’t believe

THE graying man flashing fury in the Rose Garden on behalf of the Newtown families, the grieving man wiping away tears after speaking at the Boston memorial service, is not the same man who glided into office four years ago. President Obama has watched the blood-dimmed tide drowning the ceremony of innocence, as Yeats wrote, and he has learned how to emotionally connect with Americans in searing moments, as he did from the White House late Friday night after the second bombing suspect was apprehended in Boston.

George W. Bush will return to the spotlight this week for the dedication of his presidential library, an event likely to trigger fresh public debate about his eight fateful years in office. But he reemerges with a better public image than when he left Washington more than four years ago. Since then, Bush has absented himself from both policy disputes and political battles. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll suggests that the passage of time and Bush’s relative invisibility have been beneficial to a chief executive who left office surrounded by controversy.

President Obama´s sequester scare strategy has been a political flop, but his government keeps trying. The latest gambit is to force airline flight delays until enough travellers stuck on tarmacs browbeat enough Republicans to raise taxes again. This week the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began furloughing each of its air-traffic controllers for one day out of every 10 to achieve roughly $600 million in savings this fiscal year. The White House dubiously claims that the furloughs are required by the sequester spending cuts enacted in 2011.

The most glaring fact about our president is that he is an empty suit. The people around him are also empty suits. They believe in nothing, really, but unearned luxury, unmerited adulation, and unaccountable power. Those whom we have come to call "leftists" are in fact nothing but nihilists, and we flatter them when we presume that they value anything beyond their vanities, their avarice, and their selfishness. When tragedy strikes, like in the Boston bombing, these empty suits can look and

Apparently the latest craze in NYC is to let your babies’ freak flags fly by letting them go commando: When Jada Shapiro decided to raise her daughter from birth without diapers, for the most part, not everyone was amused. Ms. Shapiro scattered little bowls around the house to catch her daughter’s offerings, and her sister insisted that she use a big, dark marker to mark the bowls so that they could never find their way back to the kitchen.
