| A group of Louisiana State University football fans whose admiration for the Tigers is second only to their love for Jesus is outraged after the school digitally erased the tiny crosses they painted on their bare upper chests at a recent football game. LSU officials sent out a photo of The Painted Posse, Christian students who paint their bodies with LSU school colors and small crosses for home games, in an email about the LSU game against South Carolina on Oct. 13. Exactlty #3. Particularly if you have been a steady donor to your school. Make sure you write them and tell them why you are longer giving.
This is what counts now to our colleges...money. Stopping your donation(s) is the only thing they will pay attention to.

The students should have displayed the crescent and star- See if the school photoshops that out to "Protect the sensitivities of fellow students." Someone should ask who the potentially offended students are- or at least, take a count of them. Offense is so offensive, isn't it?

I was once photographed with a group of people on stage at a high school graduation. I later saw the photograph in a school publication. The photo showed me in a white shirt and tie (nice). Trouble is: I am a priest and wore black shirt with a tab collar.

The photograph is not in fact a true and accurate representation of what the camera actually took. It is therefore a lie.

The story gave show creator Ryan Murphy the chance to use one of the show´s main characters to deliver a speech attacking critics of President Barack Obama efforts on new gun control legislation. Two congressional Republicans want to end, once and for all, the attempts of atheist groups and others to remove religious symbols from war memorials. Rep. Duncan Hunter of California and Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina on Thursday introduced the “War Memorial Protection Act,” which they say will create a “foundation in federal law” for public veterans’ and war memorials that include crosses or similar items. “It is our duty to honor our veterans and their families, and American military memorials around the world stand as testaments to their sacrifice,” Mr. Burr said in a statement.

The goal is to give noncustodial parents more time with the children who do not live with them. A Jefferson County Democratic Party official alleged Thursday that two men affiliated with the liberal SuperPAC Progress Kentucky, Shawn Reilly and Curtis Morrison, bragged about secretly recording a private McConnell campaign meeting on February 2. "Why they did it, I didn´t know anything like that. They just got overwhelmed and recorded it," said Jacob Conway, a member of the Jefferson County Democratic Party Executive Committee. Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.
