Your Toilet May Be Overflowing
on Election Day

First Lady Michelle Obama encouraged her husband’s supporters to vote early, because you may find your “toilet overflowing” on Election Day. “You can also tell people that they don’t have to wait until November the 6th to cast their ballots because you can do it early,” Mrs. Obama told a crowd Friday at the University of Wisconsin in Wausau.(Snip)“You wake up on Election Day—you might have a cold, babysitter gets sick, it’s raining, car broke down, I mean I could go on—-toilet overflowing,” she said

Yeah right, thanks to you and your old man I've been wearing hip boots for the past four years.

These people are getting flushed in November.

If my toilet were overflowing, and if my car broke down, and it there was a raging hurricane in my area, and if the streets were strewn with snakes, I would get myself to the polls to vote AGAINST this horrid woman.

"Please hurry and vote soon. The sooner you do, the sooner SCYTL can convert votes for Romney into votes for my husband."

FYI: The YouTube video currently up on that site, no reference to overflowing toilets remains. Also ... how about Mooch's answer to the "boxers or briefs" question? "None of the Above." Really? Was it made to deflect the "Bath House Barry" moniker growing legs around the Internet? That same question was impertinent and tasteless enough for Bubba Clinton, but weird for a First Lady married 20 years.Just sayin'.

Why must everyone in the 0bama Administration seem compelled to say and do ANYTHING to degrade and defile America the Beautiful?!!! Their constant snarky, -occasionally profane, references & attempted negative portrayals of the USA AND the American people amount to outrageous fantasies. On a serious note, I'm guessing they plan on creating two more ballots for every early ballot they get. Thus the pleas at every stump. I hope the GOP are vetting our early voters. We may end up in a recount/recall nightmare if this election is close.
Thank goodness the majority of their urban/union base doesn't have a clue how to vote early.

Surely even Moochelle's precursor, Jackie Kennedy, could not have expressed herself so exquisitely! To borrow from another of Herself's famous quotes, for the first time in my adult life I am feeling so much pride in having such a ... umm, singular ... woman represent us -- don't you?

[Sarcasm "overflowing" to a degree I can't locate the "off" button.]

Moochelle's unfortunate choice of visual imagery tells me that she is having some disturbing thoughts related to Nov. 6th.

I remember November 4th, 1980 like it was yesterday. It was about 90 in the morning, and there was a long line at local polling place. There were probably 3 or 4 hundred people in line. Nobody said anything. You got the feeling that everyone would have crawled over broken glass to get the polling place. This coming November 6th will be the same. And, yes, we will win.

I already got my ballot in the mail, but aside from voter ID, I think we should get some kind of receipt. How do I know that my vote was counted? How do I know that some political hack didn't void my vote or just discard it?

We have the technology now to secure the voting process. If I can submit my tax info on line, God knows I should be able to vote on line.

There would be no boxes of votes found in the trunk of someone's car, no hanging chads, etc.

This beast never ceases to shock me. As other posters have mentioned, can you imagine, N. Reagan, Barbara Bush, Laura Bush and Ann Romney utter such a disgusting thought?

I agree...she is urging people to vote early so when Romney, pundits and media out this monstosity of the president, their votes will already be set.

She is a disgrace to women, blacks, mothers, wives, fashion designers and even Democrats.

Furthermore, she is so clueless regarding her audience at the U. of Wisconsin...since when have college students worry about having a cold (as a college student I partied when I had bronchitis and pneumonia), need a baby sitter (college students generally tend to have no kids, yet), raining? (I think people in WI would be more concerned about snow), toilet over flowing? If you live in a dorm or apartment, as most college students do, that is something the management handles.

If she knew her audience, which she clearly does not, she would have said, vote early in case on November 6 you are still suffering from your weekend hangover, do not remember where you parked your car, woke up in a different precinct and cannot remember how you got there or threw up all over your ballot.

Now that would make more sense. Don't ya think?

Last month, the Supreme Court decided to allow the importation and resale of foreign editions of American works, which are often cheaper than domestic editions. Until now, courts have forbidden such activity as a violation of copyright. Not only does this ruling open the gates to a surge in cheap imports, but since they will be sold in a secondary market, authors won’t get royalties. Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. For the 30th straight month, the United States economy added jobs in March, albeit still at a pace too sluggish to put a big dent in the backlog of 11.7 million idle workers. The nation’s employers increased their payrolls by 88,000 last month, compared with 268,000 in February, according to a Labor Department report released Friday. The unemployment rate, which comes from a different survey, ticked down to 7.6 percent from 7.7 percent. The slight decrease in the unemployment rate occurred not because more unemployed people got jobs,

Tokyo—The Bank of Japan [8301.JA +4.83%] is pulling out all the stops to get the economy out of deflation, its new governor said, after the central bank rolled out aggressive easing measures that surprised markets, pushing bond yields to an all-time low and boosting share prices. At his inaugural policy board meeting Thursday, Haruhiko Kuroda convinced the nine-member panel to agree to a major expansion of government bond purchases, including buying longer-term debt, which is designed to drive down longer-term rates. The BOJ also broke free from some self-imposed limits that the previous leadership under Masaaki Shirakawa adhered to.

Istanbul--The blue-glass skyscrapers of Moscow City — fragments of Russia’s boom-time dream — are visible from the Kremlin walls, within which there was once hope that those towers could supplant the West’s financial centers. When the sun sets behind them, you can see that many of the offices lie empty. In fact, the real hubs for Russian banking are in other countries. Moscow’s billionaires squirrel their fortunes abroad, and many businessmen register their companies as British, Dutch, Swiss or Cypriot — anything but Russian. Police officers and security guards at Bank of Cyprus in Nicosia´s old town allowed eight depositors in at one time. Nicosia, Cyprus--When European finance chiefs explained their harsh terms for rescuing Cyprus this week, many blamed the tiny Mediterranean nation’s wayward banking practices for bringing ruin on itself. But the path that led to Cyprus’s current crisis — big banks bereft of money, a government in disarray and citizens filled with angry despair — leads back, at least in part, to a fateful decision made 17 months ago by the same guardians of financial discipline that now demand that Cyprus shape up.

"I don´t understand it," the Arizona Republican said on Sunday of the threat coming from Sen. Rand Paul,Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee and nine other Republicans. "The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” "What are we afraid of? ... If this issue is as important as we all think it is, why not take ... it up and debate?"

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

Los Angeles — Some people have had it with TV. They´ve had enough of the 100-plus channel universe. They don´t like timing their lives around network show schedules. They´re tired of $100-plus monthly bills. A growing number of them have stopped paying for cable and satellite TV service, and don´t even use an antenna to get free signals over the air. (Snip) Last month, the Nielsen Co. started labeling people in this group "Zero TV" households, because they fall outside the traditional definition of a TV home. On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary
