At about 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, Barack Obama strode into the Manhattan studios of Comedy Central for a taping of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The two men discussed several issues, including Libya. Stewart noted the exchange between Obama and Mitt Romney on that subject at the debate earlier in the week and asked Obama about the “confusion within the administration” over the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead in Benghazi. “Why? What was it that caused that confusion?” -Stewart asked.

You're not hearing many detractors fromt he left on the Benghazi attack but they are really shaken that state dept. people weren't defended. Even if they want to ignore Obama lies on it,they know deep down inside this was a hideous failure. So Obama takes refuge with other leftist who will swallow his excuses.

The left is also miffed about the lack of action in Syria,What they don't realize is Syria is more sophisticated in their defenses than a helpless Gadaffi. The attacks on Tripoli came from the Benghazi area which is an alqueda stronghold. So we were idiots for helping them to begin with.If Bashar was so intent on killing his own people, why has he let 100's of thousands flee to Jordan for refuge? Syria is just another checklist country for the radicals to get hold of.

Obama set the precedent of mob rule in Egypt and Libya and the left loves mob rule so the root for Syria to be overthrown.

Didn't we just help Libyan rebels dispose of Gadaffi? And are those the same rebels who killed our ambassador and fellow Americans? Or do we even know?
I'm confused... thanks to Obama and Clinton.

I think the term to be used here is "unintended consequences" caused by idiots on foreign police in the White house.

The more I see about this the more I think this was supposed to be the set-up for Obama's October surprise. Here's the story line they wanted to sell.
--Our consulate gets attacked, apparently by a mob of Muslims angry over an anti-Muslim video.
--After a couple of weeks, Obama discovers that the attack was a pre-planned assault on U.S. interests.
--Days before the election, Obama authorizes a strike which takes out those who planned and executed this attack on the U.S.

Unfortunately for Obama, their story fell apart before they could get all the pieces in place.

Strange link. I got to the article way down on the page. But format is bad.
To the point of the article that Obama has been blowing smoke and endangering lives to keep power, I think even lefties see that he is not up to the job. But lefties in media and looking to government for money and perks, nothing matters but what they can get. Not one person in the Democrat party cares about the country. I would be so ashamed to be Sen Man-something of West Virginia, or Nelson of Florida. They might be moderate Dems but that only means their price is higher than that of lefty Dems.

Mark Thiessen, American Enterprise Institute, reported on this on Fox News and in the WaPo.

The excuse given by Tommy Vietor for his failure to attend the briefings was that he was "sophisticated" and preferred to read the daily briefings.

What the sycophantic Vietor wasn't thinking about was Obie's giving up the exposure to the give and take of a face-to-face briefing. Questions asked, questions answered.

And who really knows whether Obie bothered to read all that fine print when he was busy campaigning and swanning around the celebrity circuit?

This Lair in chief is not going to answer any direct questions about any subject matter unless he wants to do so, for his gain not yours nor our Country's. He doesn't care who dies, nor for what reasons either.

He wants to continue his game plan of America's destruction and that is all that matters to him, getting re-elected so he can march on lying to us while behind the scenes he does his "magic" with his buds...

Evil is here, has been and wants to stay. I'll see how many of my fellow citizens have become so stupid to run with this clown on Nov. 6th.

And if so, since there was not sgred of evid this was associated with Film the questions becomes simple 1) who got info from benghazi thta day and 2) what and when was it told to Prsident?

Any one of those questions would put Obama's campaign out of it's misery - not the questions themselves, Obama's response.

At this moment, Tucker Carlson is on FOX pointing out that the entire media (New York Times leading the way) is either ignoring the Benghazi story or supporting Obama's absurd excuses.

Obama = Carter (regarding Muslim extremists)

Carter gave Iran to Muslim extremists.
Obama has given Libya & Egypt to Muslim extremists.

In Monday's debate, the Libya & Egypt embassy fiascoes should seal Obama's fate, just like the Iran embassy fiasco did to Carter.

This will help you to understand Obama's foreign policy. Choose one:
A. Obama is a muslim or Islamophile.
B. Obama hates America and wants to see her diminished.
C. Obama is a socialist (or worse) who wants to subjugate this country.
D. Obama (and his Chicago thugs) will lie, cheat, slime their opponent, do anything to get another 4 years.
E. All of the above.

Obama's "Foreign Policy" is just that...foreign to anyone who loves America. Heck, the man acts like a foreigner.

American sovereign soil was under attack and being observed in real time for hours. Of course the president was informed. Military assets were an hour away. Obama did nothing.

So Romney’s question for Obama is, “Mr. President, you watched our consulate and our Ambassador under attack for hours, with military assets and hour away, and did nothing. Why?”

As for the 20 questions, it amazes me that Obama goes on Jon Stewart to chat while the mastermind of the attack sips a "frappe`" without a whit of fear of reprisals or even a wrist-slap from our own government.

Do I have to ask the 21st question? "Who does Obama consider to be America's friends and whom does he consider to be our enemies? Everything Muslim is sacrosanct. Everything Christian, Israeli, British, traditional, Constitutional and moral are our enemies.

All right, God. We get it. We repent and rend our garments in shame for turning our country's back on you. So please give us our country back. We promise never to do it again. And all God's people said....

# 16 Priceless.
Someone in the Oval Office watched four Americans die ,
perhaps literally in real time as the video was coming in ,
because it was not politically helpful
for Obama to have his mess in Libya exposed.
This is criminal.
Axelrod or Jarrett or Obama or all three
are accessories to murder , IMHO.
Obama can try and claim he went to bed
and someone else made the decision
not to send help , but, that sets
him up for dereliction of duty.
BTW- I am disgusted by the term Ambassador Stevens
" and three others ".
Even FOX uses it.
The three " others " were former SEALS Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.
And Air Force veteran Sean Smith.
Their names should always be said along
with Christopher Stevens.
Obama also lied about the roles of Glen Doherty
and Tyrone Woods in his Saturday
radio address 6 days later.
The media is just as complicit as the White House
in this scandalous cover up.
It is unconscionable for the CINC to be yukking it up on a Comedy Show when the death toll of Americans is so high
on his watch.
1,511 US soldiers and Marines have died in Afghanistan since he was inaugurated.
264 US soldiers and Marines have died in Iraq.
Plus , Christopher Steven, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods in Libya.

Three Questions on Immigration

‘Comprehensive immigration reform,” a deal on which is reportedly imminent, has a lot of moving parts — too many, in truth, as with most “comprehensive” legislation. Among the costs of comprehensivism is that debate over such bills often gets bogged down in the many details. Americans seeking to evaluate any deal should ask three questions about it to cut through the noise. First: Will it encourage future illegal immigration? This has always been the greatest risk of proposals to provide legal status for current illegal immigrants: that it will be seen as a reason for others to come here illegally

How many federal agencies does it take to do catfish safety inspections? At least three, according to the Government Accountability Office, which on Tuesday released its 2013 report on fragmentation and duplication of federal programs. This year´s report -- there were two previous editions of the report first requested by Sen. That brings the three-year total of potential savings documented by GAO to $295 billion. WASHINGTON — Vice President Joseph R. There´s more than a touch of Chicken Little in common arguments for more infrastructure spending. "The bridges are falling, the bridges are falling!" Every four years, the American Society of Civil Engineers issues the U.S. an infrastructure "report card." And, just as predictably, it says that U.S. infrastructure is decrepit and needs expensive new investments. The latest one, released last month, gave the nation a D+ grade and recommended an extra $1.6 trillion in spending by 2020. Are American bridges actually falling, though? Is the U.S. underinvested in infrastructure? Maybe it´s going too far to say,
