You could see the pained expression on President Obama's face worsen as a 61-year-old undecided voter told the president during the second presidential debate that he and some co-workers... became aware of reports that the State Department refused extra security for our embassy in Benghazi.[Snip]The Obama administration was refusing to provide... adequate security for a U.S. ambassador... but the administration also committed to spending millions of dollars a year to provide a six-person, round-the-clock Secret Service detail to protect the assistant to the president for public engagement and intergovernmental affairs. Staff has repaired bad link. Please proof when posting.

Comments: Let me reiterate this little-known but disgusting fact about Jarret. We taxpayers shell out the cost for a six-person Secret Service detail, round the clock, for Obama's friend who has no Constitutional authority or responsibility. It begs the question is Valerie Jarrett Obama's Rasputin?

OP is absolutely correct...our Ambassador dies because of NO American security, but the President's buddy Valerie Jarrett has secret service protection? What is wrong with this picture?
I believe this would be the final straw for most thinking Americans. Should it become common knowledge I think Romney would have a 50 state sweep on his hands. There is no justification whatsever for Valerie Jarrett's guards.
It may be one of the reasons Obama doesn't want to talk about Benghazi.

I read another story about this issue a few weeks ago. Why jarret is protected but our people in the violent Middle East are not? Agree with #2.

If verifiable threats have been made against ValJar then the FBI should drive by her house twice each night.
Where does the authority come from for the Secret Service to expend resources on this?

A discussion at our morning Joe restaurant we have come to the conclusion this nation is run by a block of three- At first, it was just Pelosi, Reid and Øbama- Then 2010 happened, we took back the House, then it was Reid, Jarrett and Øbama. They have cursed the Constitution and there is no valid controlling authority who has the power to stop them from doing just about anything they want. It is a defacto totalitarian regime until we take back the Senate, at the very least.

Val jarret IS not only Obamas Raputin - she is the de facto POTUS. Iranian born with communist parents- this Chicago slumlord is enjoying her influence over both Obamas. In Russian there are two words one for power and the other for influence - she has both. Exposé her and the house of cards comes down.

We might also discover that she has her fingers on the cover-up decision. In one way or another, she is in the mix.

According to the White House Insider who leaks info to Ulsterman, ValJar loves being called the de facto potus. She's a power mad Iranian born communist follower who's biggest accomplishment before gaining such a top level security force was that of a Slum Landlord in Chicago and corrupt local pol. My how far a criminal can rise in this administration.
Hope she moves back to Chicago in Jan. and we never hear from this corrupt woman again. Surely her security detail will end then, won't it?

Interesting #10. Sometimes I fear to know the magnitude of the screw job teleprompter has inflicted.
I felt teleprompter lost the election when he ran from the question about the embassy security. He sure deserves to, for that and 1000 other reasons.

I remember a story not long after Obama got in there that he waived SS checks on a slew of people, including visitors. He also waived background checks on regular gov't workers because he was desperate for warm bodied bureaucrats.I mean does anybody believe all these criminals stealing luggage at TSA passed criminal background checks?
Rush Limbaugh had to go through a background check before going to the WH to visit Bush.

Very simple. Valerie Jarrett took the naive little foreign boy barry under her wing in Chicago and helped him up the ladder. Now she is reaping her reward. You gots to pay to play in that world.

Valerie Jarrett probably told obama not to help the 4 men in Libya as they were known to have lots of military in the area to help these men.

Gahanna, Ohio - Late Tuesday night, the pundits on TV began jabbering incomprehensibly along the lines of, "What does it mean?" The American people -- or, at the very least, a sufficient plurality of them -- decided that they want another four years of clumsy policy failures and vengeful "progressivism," as Democrats nowadays describe their agenda for wrecking what remains of our constitutional republic. Even before the unmitigated political disaster of November 6, 2012, a date that will live in infamy, the prospects of salvaging the United States were not particularly hopeful.

I believe that Mitt Romney will win on November 6th. The alternative is too ghastly to contemplate. I'm encouraged by the polls, as reported in Rick Moran's blog post, "Romney has lead in all 4 major tracking polls." These polls however don't address the electoral college vote. A friend argued recently that Romney would win the popular vote but still lose the electoral college. I had a moment's panic, but I was reassured by the latest Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard.

We can now fairly assume that both Democrat and Republican analysts concluded that President Obama's weak performance in the first presidential debate could be attributed to the absence of a teleprompter. The president's reputation -- earned or unearned -- as a golden orator cannot be upheld without this prop. So, to level the playing field -- as he is fond of saying -- he was provided with a flesh and blood teleprompter in the shape of Candy Crowley for the second debate.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

HARTFORD, Conn. -- With time running out on the chance to pass gun control legislation, President Barack Obama on Monday warned Congress not to use delaying tactics against tighter regulations and told families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims that he´s "determined as ever" to honor their children with tougher laws. Obama´s gun control proposals have run into resistance on Capitol Hill, leaving their fate in doubt. Efforts by Senate Democrats to reach compromise with Republicans over expanding required federal background checks have yet to yield an agreement, and conservatives were promising to try

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Chelsea Clinton has raised her profile in the last few days, which sparked the inevitable question about the former first daughter´s future: Will she ever be like Mom and Dad and run for office? Clinton, 33, essentially said "maybe" in an interview that aired Monday on NBC´s Today show. "Right now I´m grateful to live in a city, a state and a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, my president and my senators and my representative," said Clinton, whose father, Bill, was president from 1993-2001 and her mother, Hillary

More than 700 Special Operations veterans are urging members of Congress to back a select committee to investigate last year’s Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a letter first obtained by Fox News. The letter from the group, “Special Operations Speaks,” supports the appointment of a special committee tasked with the single mission of investigating the attack that left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead, and shut down the CIA operation in an annex of the Benghazi consulate, in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack. “Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public

There was growing buzz over the weekend that a bipartisan agreement on gun control — a deal that would expand background checks — could hit the floor as early as this week. However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

The case of a same-sex Connecticut couple accused of repeatedly raping and abusing two of their nine adopted boys is headed for trial. Married couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth of Glastonbury were supposed to be sentenced Friday in Hartford Superior Court under a plea deal, but instead withdrew from their agreement with prosecutors. The men had already pleaded no contest in January to one felony count each of risk of injury to a minor — a reduction from even more serious charges related to sexual assault....

More than six months since Ambassador Christopher Stevens was assassinated by terrorists in Benghazi, the Obama administration is still trying to keep a lid on information about the attack. Congress and the American people need to know what happened the night of Sept. 11, 2012. Who did the killing and what was their motive? Why wasn´t help sent? And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Members of Congress have asked hundreds of questions at hearings conducted by several investigative committees, but many of the most significant have been left unanswered. Information detailing what happened before, during and Headline corrected.
