Panel questions motives in
Benghazi security moves

USA Today, by Oren Dorell

Original Article

Posted By:LOL Thomas, 10/20/2012 7:02:43 AM

The Obama administration rejected requests for more security in Benghazi amid growing signs of terror threats because it wanted to portray Libya as a calm country and foreign policy success, according to leaders of the House Oversight Committee. The administration "made a policy decision to put Libya into a 'normalized' country status as quickly as possible," starting in November, stated a letter to President Obama from Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and National Security Subcommittee Chairman Jason Chaffetz. (Snip) That policy was why State withdrew security personnel and resources from Benghazi, including a DC-3 aircraft

Comments:
Issa and Chaffetz’s letter to Obama (solely!) is one you won’t want to miss. On p. 8, the State Department increased “danger pay” for personnel serving in Libya during the time it removed security.

And on p. 9, Do you believe it was appropriate for this administration to reject requests for additional security, withdraw additional security, increase hazard pay, and, at the same time, make it appear as if Libya was normalized?

Issa has gotten to the political agenda behind the security debacle and murder of our Ambassador in Benghazi.
There was no crowd of angry movie critics, but there was a domestic political agenda behind Obama's 5 weeks of lies about Benghazi.
As usual with Obama, this was all about Obama.
Obama is starting to look ugly and dangerous.

Now we hear that putting additional security would create a perception (or as Alex Wagner likes to say "optic") that we didn't want to create in Libya.

In other words, we don't want to appear strong or able to take care of ourselves. Wimping around like this is going to get more people killed.

Just file this entire tragedy in the "They All Love Us Now That I'm In Charge And Bush Is Gone" file of delusional, self-obsessed policies.

I've always believed that Zippy was a purposeful, America-hating commie - - but now I've come to add in to the mix a true belief in his own self-grandeur.

What a scary individual - - but even scarier is the fact that he was actually elected president of our beloved country.

But then part of me wonders if this wasn't an Obama Operation to begin with to SILENCE Amb. Stevens who is rumored to have gotten cold feet about being Obama's conduit of guns to jihadists.

#2 remember a few weeks before the terrorist attack on the Benghazi US consulate Obama was boasting the killing of Qsama and other top echelon El Qaeda personnel via Drones. We get the hyena Biden stating publically Osama GM.However the WH apologised for airing the 14 min amateur Anti-Islamic movie. The same day 9/11 the WH referred to the movie as the cause of the Cairo flag burning and Benghazi Consulate break in.Obama was trying his best even if he lied that in Benghazi it was just a spontaneus uprising. He wanted to insure that Lybia was peaceful and no El Qaeda uprising.Anything different from the movie would shatter his position that El Qaeda was dead. On the contrary witness the 4 US consulate personnel murdered by an affiliated El Qaeda trained terrorist detachment.

Pathetic. Now we've lost 4 Americans because this President and those who serve him value the agenda more than they value human lives.
