Romney faces a big risk
if he returns to Libya
scandal at final debate

Fox News, by Juan Williams

Will last Tuesday’s big debate moment become Monday night’s big debate topic? Tuesday’s moment came when the candidates focused on the recent attack that killed the US ambassador to Libya and three others. As the Wall Street Journal’s conservative editorial page wrote: It was Mitt Romney’s “weakest moment.” The New York Time’s liberal editorial page concluded that Romney’s fumbling handling of the Libya issue was “the most devastating moment for Mr. Romney.” Now as the campaigns ready for the foreign policy debate, to be held Monday in Florida, the question is whether Romney returns to the question of Libya. Political

Comments:
How in the world can he avoid talking about Libya in a foreign policy debate?? I find it odd that he says it would be a risk for Romney to talk about it and yet still calls it a scandal. Once again poor little Juan is absolutely wrong.

Yeah, Juan, Mitt will be sure to follow your sage, non-biased advice.
Just like CNN this morning is essentially saying "Stop talking about Benghazi."
Why? Because it hurts their guy, President Empty Chair

Romney was on a roll until Candy cut him off and announced that OBAMA did in fact call it terrorism. That was wrong and she later admitted it, but it stopped Mitt's momentum, which is what Candy meant to do.

Juan carrying Obama's water as usual. Mitt Romney faces a bigger risk if he DOESN'T bury Obama on Libya. He needs to gather the facts to date and hit him hard in a Presidential way, then explain how he would have handled it.

Romney will spell out the facts and question Obama...

Why was Security Request Denied?

Why, when State has live streaming Video of attack. did WH misrepresent the events?

Who told Rice and Carney to lie to the American people?

Why has Al Qaeda become a stronghold in Benghazi and across the region?

How did Al Qaeda get their hands on weapons Obama supplied to Libya?

Romney was rattled when Crowley backed up Obama's lie and I agree he didn't regain his balance on that subject. But, he'll be ready on Monday. I see that CNN thinks it's time for us to move on from the Benghazi story, too. Now, I wonder why?

A contrarian indicator if there ever was one.

Romney will tear Obama to bits with this issue.

What I am loving about this is the feeling that I get from Romney that he knows exactly what he is doing. 4 years ago, McCain would have bought the 'we should not politicize a trajedy' hook, line and sinker.

Romney probably had to contain himself at the last debate and, strange as it may seem, Crowley did ROMNEY a favor by making it a larger story.

Now Romney goes into the final debate with a full magazine and one in the pipe.

Juan, poor Juan is there any way to convince you to just lock yourself in a closet and shut up? This BS is so typical you, "Juan," it isn't even necessary to see your byline to know you're the writer. Ever more frantic and bulgy-eyed, Juan not only looks more in the tank for Zippy, he looks more ludicrous every day. And he's become even more sensitive to anyone who challenges his liberal stupidity reacting in anger and spitting into the camera. Dare we hope that FOX, and anyone else inviting him to speak anywhere, will wake up and do the world a favor and find a big enough cork to gag him for good? I worry when I find myself almost feeling sorry for him.

Juan's advice is worthless year after year. Setting that aside, I agree with the headline, don't bring up Libya.

No minds will be changed and no votes gained. The topic is too tangled for the forum.

Face it, the so-called debates resemble petty playpen quarrels. The adage about mud wrestling with a pig applies.

Libya was a total fiasco, a spew of lies from the WH and every administration orifice. Any voter who doesn't realize that by now never will and never intends to.

The word is out that Ambassador Chris Stephens was gay. There were ads placed in the local papers advertizing for gay body guards.
For unknown reasons, the military guards were withdrawn a month earlier. Essentially, the Ambassador was defenseless that night.
His two friends, Former Navy Seals, were not supposed to even be there.
He wrote how he feared for his safety, asked for protection; it was denied.
My question: Was this attack planned as a hit on this guy, and was the video produced to provide cover for the planned hit? Who would have wanted this chaos, and would it have provided an opportunity for Obama to look Presidential?

Juan and his lefties would love to scare
Romney away from the most devastating blunder Øbama has fallen into- his lie that he knew on day one that it was a terrorist attack, and now, Romney, locking him into the lie in the debate, and dummy Øbama even going so far as to double cinch it with support from the so-called "moderator", Romney is now set to set Øbama's pants on fire in the Monday night flap. Øbama is in deep, deep self-made doo and knows it. The lefty media and friends will try everything to try to prevent Romney from pulling the trigger Monday night.

Another questionable point in Juan's piece: declaring Obama winner of the second debate. This is debatable. Some say Obama, some say Romney, some say tie. And if Obama and Crowley had not conspired against Romney on Bengazi, Romney would have been the winner across the boards.

What happened at Benghazi is the worst presidential scandal in history, and anyone with a modicum of sense knows it. It's not impossible to believe that some of the worst theories about what really happened might be horrifyingly true, and that several people including Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Clapper, and Susan Rice might merit imprisonment. Was Benghazi a horribly failed attempt at making Obama look like the Israelis at Entebbe in 1976? Why were Libyan al-Qa'eda members armed by this Administration? Really, who needs enemies whan our own leaders produce such tragic results?

The late and much lamented Tony Snow considered Juan Williams to be a good friend, and if Tony had a high personal opinion of Juan, so much the better for Juan as a human being. I never disagreed with Tony on anything, so great was my respect and admiration for him. Juan has written some very wise things about racial relations, and for that I respect him. Obviously, he is a good person.

But politically, Juan is an embarrassment. On the subject of Obama, one would be wise not only to take Juan's opinions with a boulder of salt but to believe the opposite of what he says. He really is that much upside down concerning his Chicago hero. With his reasoning faculties deliberately disabled and his political perception blinded, what he says would be funny if it weren't so tragic. Think with your head, Juan. Racial pride is no substitute for wisdom.

Next President Romney just won the Al Smith roast in the same way he won the first debate--the speakers must have written their own jokes. The Romney sons probably held a session and their sides still hurting, saying nothing about campaign people chiming in. Obama just isn't as likeable, guy, face it. LOL. His narcissistic self aware self-roasting jokes were not warm and too political agenda driven for the event. He failed again. He made susre to let everyone know Europe loves him better than they did Romney which made him look small.

Even Chris Matthews laughed at some Mitt jokes--who could help it?

No, Juan, Mitt isn't shaking in his boots about going one on two with obama and Sgieffer. The Eye of the Tiger? The CEO winner who doesn't have to lie, cheat. steal or other stuff to do it.

Clear eyes, full hearts in Ann Romney's words of encouragement have to win?

As a true Mitt fan I would add, how long has it been since one such as I worry about measuring up to a inner workings of politician or a candidate and veep? Try harder to be like. A role model for kids? Well not since GWB, in my case LOL? It seems like forever!

A preferred ploy of left-wing change agents is to ridicule critics when they point out the undeniable parallels between the goals of today´s "progressive" movement, to include the Democratic Party in general, and the goals of the early, and very much still alive, communist movement. If, for instance, one mentions the historical fact that nearly every adult who, at any time, was in any position of influence over a young, soon-to-be-radicalized Barry Soetoro was an avowed communist, to include his own parents, then one is immediately mocked and dismissed as a neo-McCarthyite hack pining for the bygone days of the Red

RUSH: We will get into some of the March 31st deadline for Obamacare -- and what a joke it is. By the way, an Oklahoma reporter rendered Kathleen Sebelius speechless. An Oklahoma reporter told her how unpopular Obamacare is, and she had nothing to say. He said to her, "At last check, 64% of Oklahomans are not buying into the health care plan. They don´t like Obamacare. They´ve been pretty vocal about it. "Now, that´s gonna still continue to be a sufficient sell, but we´ll see how that plays out over the coming months," and waited for Sebelius to reply,

LA MESA, Calif. - A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state´s Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party. The couple – who did not want their identity revealed – received the letter and voter registration card from their health insurance provider Covered California, the state-run agency that implements President Obama´s Affordable Care Act. They have lived in La Mesa for years and they have always been registered to vote Republican. Now, they are perplexed as to

If you do a quick Internet search for "Gwyneth Paltrow," you´ll find an onslaught of furious comments about the actress. Alhough the 41-year-old often stirs up controversy (thanks to everything from her touting her own wood-burning pizza oven to referring to her recent breakup as a "conscious uncoupling"), this latest reaction is due, in part, to a New York Post open letter to Paltrow regarding an interview she gave on the challenges of being a movie-star mom. On Wednesday, Paltrow, who announced her split from husband Chris Martin this week, told E! News, “I think it´s different when you have an

Imagine if a former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. senator had called a current Republican president a delusional liar whose programs are wasteful. Would the mainstream media not be all over the story? Such a person would be interviewed at length by Wolf Blitzer on CNN as well as made the rounds of the morning talk shows and the Sunday news programs as well. The media buzz would be red hot on this topic for days extending into weeks. Well, there is such a person but because he is a Democrat saying these things about President Obama, we can expect

Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft former Florida governor Jeb Bush into the 2016 presidential race, courting him and his intimates and starting talks on fundraising strategy. Concerned that the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal has damaged New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political standing and alarmed by the steady rise of Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), prominent donors, conservative leaders and longtime operatives say they consider Bush the GOP’s brightest hope to win back the White House.

A "vast majority" of Mitt Romney donors, establishment pooh-bahs, and an anti-conservative consultant who is the epitome of permanent political class want former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president in 2016. Bush was in Las Vegas this week meeting with Sheldon Adelson, and, according to the Post, "many if not most of 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s major donors are reaching out to Bush and his confidants with phone calls, e-mails and invitations to meet." One bundler even said that a "vast majority” of "Romney’s top 100 donors would back Bush." The Post also noted that in the meantime "Bush’s

I have no objections to Jeb Bush running for president. He obviously has a wide appeal as a potential candidate. (Snip) His support of Common Core, however, will also find many who are in the conservative ranks objecting, since they fear that Common Core represents educational centralism and having the government ram federal standards down their throats. What I do object to is that Bush is already being heralded as the obvious candidate, the man to whom the big money must and will flow. As the Washington Post reports: Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a

If Betsey McCaughey is correct (and I bet she is, because she has not only read the entire ObamaCare bill, she has written a book about it), Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan publicly humiliated herself during the oral arguments on the Hobby Lobby case, revealing that she either did not read the law, or failed to comprehend it if she did so. Writing in the New York Sun, McCaughey lays out what is wrong with the Justice’s declaration about Obamacare: she asserted that the statute itself mandates provision of birth control. Not one word in the Affordable Care Act guarantees health plans will cover birth control products.

Ronan Farrow’s MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings, sources exclusively tell Confidenti@l.Farrow, 28 — the opinionated, blue-eyed son of actress Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra (even Farrow’s not sure which) — has been a disaster for MSNBC. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February. The theory was that Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated college when he was 15 and went on to score degrees from Yale and Oxford, would bring his 245,000 Twitter followers with him to television

Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey thinks President Barack Obama, a fellow Democrat, was re-elected in 2012 because he ´sucked less´ than former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. The Nebraskan straight-talker told MailOnline in an exclusive interview that Obama isn´t up to the job of bringing liberals and conservatives to the table to rescue America´s slowly choking entitlement programs. And Obama, he said Wednesday in his Manhattan office, knew full well he was lying when he promised that the Affordable Care Act would allow Americans to keep insurance plans they liked. ´He had to know he was misleading the audience,´ Kerrey said

YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The March 26 decision by the NLRB´s Chicago regional director, Peter Sung Ohr, held that scholarship football players are "employees" for purposes of federal labor law. Ohr rejected the longstanding view of Northwestern and the National Collegiate Athletic Association that players are "student-athletes" rather than employees. While Ohr´s decision is hardly the final word on this issue, it does accelerate the legal and political battle against the NCAA and its century-old amateurism rules. Is Football Academic? Washington — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Monday finalized long-delayed rules that will require automakers to install back-up cameras in all vehicles by May 2018. The new rules set rear visibility standards that automakers will initially be able to meet only by installing cameras. At the same time, major automakers said Monday they are petitioning the Obama administration to let them end the use of side view mirrors if they install cameras that could perform the same task — a move that could improve fuel efficiency. President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported.
