'I'm pro-life and I'm
happy to say that': Ann
Romney stands up to the
ladies of The View as she
discusses her stance on abortion

Daily Mail (UK), by Hugo Gye & Meghan Keneally

The wife of the Republican presidential candidate gave a passionate defense of the pro-life stance held by her and her husband during an appearance on daytime talk show The View. Ann Romney said she will not be the one making the decisions but her husband, who is now running as a pro-life candidate in spite of serving as a pro-choice governor of Massachusetts. 'The good news is, I'm not running for office and I don't have to say what I feel. But I am pro life. I'm happy to say that,' she said.

We all know obama is pro killing babies and anyone else deemed by the 15 member death panel as unworthy of living. (republicans/conservatives)

Remember how obama stated he thought a women who was 100 years old should just take a pain pill instead of getting the hip operation? Her daughter asked obama and that was his replied.

She is now 105 and healthy with a new hip.
Under obama she would have been denied healthcare and have died.

"Happy" That's an adjective the liberal members of the View panel are unfamiliar with.

She should have said that she is very disappointed that the other ladies promote the killing of the unborn. She wasn't getting any votes for her husband there anyway.

Don't be so sure she won't be getting any votes for her husband. I thought she looked great--just like we expect a first lady to look. I think a lot more women relate to her as a wife and mother than they do to Michelle.

Abortion is a privelidge enjoyed by upper middle class liberal white women to ensure their daughters don't give birth to brown babies in their youthful indiscretions.

Truth.

Hey view 'ladies' and their fans, here's a question for you. If the baby somehow makes it out of the abortion room, THEN can they live? I know you agree with BHO that as long as the baby has any part in the birth canal, they can be murdered with impunity, but what if they survive long enough to get out of the room? I'm assuming the gurney is an execution zone.

This canard about 'the woman's body' ended when a new person with different DNA was created inside her. It is a difficult and painful subject, but the flippant, smug position of 'pro choice' zealots NEVER faces the hard questions on TV.

Reply 7 - Posted by: bmw50, 10/18/2012 6:24:16 PM     (No. 8943815)

Every one of those women on the View were unborn children at one time... and all of them but Hasselbeck believe their mothers should have the right to kill them? Is that a perverted form of love and parenting or what?

How can anyone of them convince their children they love them when they believe the right to kill them should be protected? That's not love, that's not being a parent, that's not protecting your own blood! They love all right, themselves and themselves only.

The Democrat Party portrays itself as the party of compassion. How can that be when they kill their unborn and can't be charitable unless it's with other people's money? The Democrat party is evil, they are killers, they are monsters.

If your mother is a Democrat and living, I guess you must consider yourself lucky.

She looks terrific. So classy. (And what a marvelous red!) And she knows how a lady sits.

The photo of Obie and Mooch, widely distributed, is an embarrassment. She looks wan and too bare. With bat wings on those "toned" arms. And comforting her wussy widdle husband. Oy, vey.

It will be so good to get our wonderful country back and stop the insanity.

Reply 9 - Posted by: mossley, 10/18/2012 6:30:23 PM     (No. 8943828)

What liberals fail to comprehend, is that the majority of Americans agree with Romney on this. While some women may find themselves in a situation where abortion seems like the best answer for them, it's still a horrible choice and most of the women who get one suffer through their decision. It's not something to be treated like getting a facial.

She will be the first pro-life first lady since the Roe vs Wade decision. Remember even the Republican first ladies have been pro-abortion: Betty Ford, Nancy Reagan, Barbara and Laura Bush. While in the White House or after leaving the White House, they each expressed support for abortion on demand.

The Week‘s Matt Lewis is offering a several-pronged defense of Howie, including the interesting (if predictable) notion that Kurtz might well have survived this episode had his target not been a “sacred cow,” as Breitbart’s John Nolte put it: Kurtz’s sin was making this error with a sacred cow. MEXICO CITY— President Barack Obama and Mexico´s new president, Enrique Pena Nieto, are stepping gingerly to avoid any suggestion of meddling in each other´s most contentious issues. Instead, Obama is drawing attention to the cultural ties that have linked the two nations and the economic bonds that have begun to take hold more recently. Obama was to deliver a speech Friday to an audience made up primarily of students, highlighting the role they can play in deciding Mexico´s future and promoting the type of broad exchanges he envisions under a new immigration regime in the United States.

Last week I wrote specifically about the pitiful coverage of the Boston marathon terror attacks and the continual denial by the mainstream media of possible Islamic involvement. In a perverse way this dereliction of journalistic duty while reprehensible is understandable because the press lapdogs of this administration do not want to admit that Obama´s PC national security policies involving Muslims might have contributed to the Boston attack. We know the media is spineless. However its neglect to report on the Gosnell abortion trial shows that they have lost any moral compass they ever had just to cover up Obama's strong support of the abortion industry.

President Obama did not start the Syrian crisis, and the blood-soaked civil war has never lent itself to easy choices. In fact, the choices have always been among the hardest any U.S. president has faced in the region. Syria is more than a country, and its civil war is more than a brutal and bloody story of a dictatorial regime pulverizing a largely defenseless civilian population. Syria sits at a strategic crossroads and has for decades been the conduit of cash and operational expertise linking meddlesome Iran to the east with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.

When Republicans woke up to defeat on Election Day 2012, it was clear that they had been outfoxed and outmaneuvered by President Obama and his campaign. Now it´s clear why. Under the political radar, Team Obama made an unprecedented effort to understand the voters and speak their language, slicing and dicing the electorate with a sophistication and savvy that the Republicans couldn´t match and are still scrambling to replicate. The result was the rebuilding and in some cases expansion of Obama´s original coalition from 2008, and a remarkable comprehension of what really motivated voters in 2012.
