| President Obama has really been pushing women's issues lately, and now his campaign has a new ad out saying Republican Mitt Romney would ban abortion -- although it uses a truncated quote. The ad replays a moment during a Republican primary debate in which moderator Anderson Cooper asks GOP candidates, "If Roe v. Wade was overturned, Congress passed a federal ban on all abortions and it came to your desk -- would you sign it? Yes or no?" The ad quotes Romney as saying: "I'd be delighted to sign that bill."

Palin openly stated her belief that every unborn baby has a right to live. Claiming she would ban abortion has some plausibility, then.
Have any of Mitt's public actions or words carried such a black-and-white declaration, though? Not even close.

Abortion is the most devastating form of human sacrifice ever conceived by humankind.
a culture cannot survive when the genetic pool is so reduced.
Proof of that lies with the plight of China today that forced reduction of their culture not only has left an entire generation doomed to not enough women to sustain it but that even one earthquake was able to wipe out an unintended future viable population.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder, the nation´s chief law enforcement officer, returned to the courthouse where he once served as a judge, this time in the role of prospective juror performing his civic duty. The Justice Department said Holder wasn´t chosen and that he won´t be called back. Had he been selected for the jury Tuesday, the attorney general would have been on a panel hearing an armed robbery case. Holder sat in the last row of Judge Stuart Nash´s courtroom along with other prospective jurors as the judge gave details of the case.

MSNBC´s programming became almost entirely full of commentary and opinion in 2012, while "factual reporting" saw almost no airtime, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. An Ohio woman filed a $25,000 lawsuit against her employer, alleging she was fired for voting for President Obama. Patricia Kunkle of Kettering, Ohio, claimed that Dayton-based Q-Mark, Inc., threatened to fire employees of the defense contractor if Obama won re-election, with the president’s supporters to be the first to receive pink slips, the Dayton Daily News reported. A meeting between the new U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart will take place next week in German capital Berlin. Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have agreed to meet in Berlin on February 26, US State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said in a statement on Thursday. "Secretary Kerry and Foreign Minister Lavrov will discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues," she added. The statement did not specify the agenda of talks. It will be Kerry´s first meeting with Lavrov in his new capacity as US Secretary of State.
