Crowley's intervention as moderator-in-chief swung the debate in Obama's favor

| Americans got to watch two debates last night -- the debate before and after CNN's Candy Crowley's ill-considered intervention as moderator-in-chief. In the first half of Tuesday night's "town hall" style debate, Mitt Romney appeared confident, articulate, and quick to challenge President Obama’s policies and performance in office. But after Crowley told Romney that he was wrong about how Obama had characterized the killings of a U.S. ambassador and three other officials in Libya, Obama was emboldened and Romney was clearly on the defensive. Crowley’s intervention not only ignored her duty to be a neutral moderator,

Comments: Judith Miller is sure no right winger. You know it's bad when she is critical of Crowley.

Again I say that the debate commission needs to force Crowley and CNN to make very public apologies. This cannot be allowed to go unpunished.

I wonder if Crowley thinks helping 0bama lie was worth shredding her credibility? The MSM keep claiming they are unbiased, and then keep proving they are. And they wonder why their ratings share keep declining.

Ok, so she jumped in to PROTECT the bozo in the WH from a nasty turn of events. That torqued my jaws, but what sent me over the edge was when she cut her eyes over to bozo for approval as she was crawfishing in front of Romney. The day she said having a Romney-Ryan ticket win would be a travesty is the day she should have been replaced for that debate. There is no way she can squirm out of the fact that she interrupted Romney more than twice more than bozo.

I don't think that Debate will change any minds. I think people who watched the Debate knew exactly what was going on. We're not stupid. We could see that Candy was interrupting Mitt and then not letting him complete his statement. 28 times she did that. I think Mitt looks stronger each time he debates and Obama STILL looks like a LOSER!

Candy having that transcript was a setup, as was Obama telling her to consult it. They were working in tandem. Candy had previously remarked that a Romney-Ryan ticket was "a death wish." She should have been scrapped as moderator after that remark.

It is pretty obvious that Candy felt sorry for the President of the US because he had to go up against someone who not only is better looking but is smarter than he is and has actually done something in his life to brag about. Obama needed all the help he could get because of his incompetence. I guess one could say that Affirmative Action was in play at the 2nd debate.

President Obama is aware of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell’s murder trial, but White House Press Secretary Jay Carney wouldn’t speculate about whether Obama might not support legislation such as the Born Alive Act that he opposed as a state senator. “You’re asking for hypotheticals about legislation or proposed legislation that I haven’t seen,” Carney replied when Fox News’ Ed Henry asked if Obama, having voted against a Born Alive Act in the Illinois state legislature, thought the Gosnell case suggested there was a need for such a law. “The president is aware of this,” Carney also said, adding that

The federal government has been wildly unpopular for some time, explains Pew, but even with President Barack Obama in the driver’s seat, the percentage of Democrats finding favor with the federal government has plummeted 10 points in the last year, down to just 41 percent of that party. WASHINGTON – New Jersey Sen. While the House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring Thatcher last week, Menendez, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, objects to some of the language proposed by Republicans in the Senate’s version, sources said. A copy of the proposed resolution, which would be offered by Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, honors “the life, legacy,

If you sell a gun to your son, “there’s something wrong with your family," says New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. In a radio appearance on Friday, Bloomberg, a gun control activist and co-chair of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, praised the legislation that is now moving forward in the Senate. The bill would require universal background checks for most sales of firearms, including those online and at gun shows. “The only thing it would not cover is if you sold a gun to your son, for example,” Bloomberg told radio host John Gambling.

While pushing for more gun control legislation on the House floor, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) said, “Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked.” Jackson Lee took the House floor on April 9 to argue in favor of increased gun control legislation, “Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked -- that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they come into places even that have strong gun laws." “Why? Because we don’t have sensible gun legislation.” Jackson Lee continued by saying that current gun laws need to be enforced,

A new poll from Latino Decisions found that 87 percent of the immigrants will apply for citizenship if the laws are changed, a stunning figure that suggests over 9 million want to stay in the United States. There an estimated 11 million illegal or undocumented immigrants in the nation. The poll of 400 Latino adults who self-identified as "non-citizens and not legal permanent residents,"

This past Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union program, Senator Rubio complained to Candy Crowley that “everyone’s focused on passing these laws that have proven ineffective and will prove ineffective in the future.” He wasn’t talking about immigration then, but about guns. On immigration, he was the one making the argument for “passing these laws that have proven ineffective and will prove ineffective in the future.” Rubio on Sunday managed a “Full Ginsburg” — appearing on all five Sunday talk shows on the same day. Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.

Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. The U.S. media is again responsible for the general awareness of these men; these stories deserved — and received — national attention due to our common interest in personal safety, the rule of law

Here is something I don’t understand: liberals are often revealed as vile, vulgar hatemongers–not all of them, of course, but far too many–yet they never seem to pay a penalty at the polls. Why is that? Margaret Thatcher’s death has been the latest occasion for the Left to show its true stripes. All across the U.K., there have been demonstrations–vulgar at best, and violent at worst. In Bristol, lefties celebrating a Thatcher “death street party” started fires, destroyed property and battled police: This evening in Trafalgar Square, liberals have turned out for a long-planned celebration of Thatcher’s death:

Is media bias to blame for lack of Gosnell coverage? Or something far more banal? The trial of Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell would seem to have all the elements of a spectacular news story: shocking allegations, horrifying visuals, sympathetic victims. Yet until late last week, much of the national media was silent as testimony about Gosnell’s alleged “house of horrors” abortion clinic rolled out. Much of the media attention outside Philadelphia, in fact, centered on how little media attention the story was receiving outside Philadelphia.

President Obama and I were college classmate at Columbia University, class of ’83. I know all too well how mindlessly liberal the students and faculty of that institution can be, and Barack Obama is certainly no exception. My time at Columbia made it crystal clear: liberals always believe they are morally superior. [Snip] It is in this cesspool of intolerance that Obama and his Marxist cronies hatched a secret plan to destroy our country. There are two things you need to know about Obama at Columbia University. First, he was Pre Law and a Political Science major- just like me.
