| While US President Barack Obama’s perceived Islamic sympathies have continued to hound him with conservative Christian voters, challenger Mitt Romney’s Mormonism has hardly stirred a prayer. As far as Israel is concerned, many Christians believe that Romney’s support for the Jewish state is stronger than Obama’s. But how might Romney’s Mormon faith influence his policies vis-à-vis Israel?

Weird article wasn't it? It got some right (disclaimer I'm Mormon so I would know) and yet quotes some guy who doesn't trust the Mormon. Strangely worded.

As a member of a different faith, my bottom line is this: one of the candidates believes he will be held responsible for his choices and actions; the other holds himself responsible to nobody. End of quandary.

Yedidiah, a Messianic Jewish officer in the Israeli army is not convinced that a Mormon president in the White House is good for Israel. “I can’t understand how an intelligent government official can believe all those strange Mormon doctrines,” he said about Romney.
Yedidiah probably believes that Noah built an Ark and survived the flood, that Elijah called down fire from Heaven, and that Moses parted the waters of the Red Sea. (As do Mormons.) Strange, huh?

West Virginia Democratic Sen. In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs."
