Feminism is over... say women

| Feminism in the modern world is viewed as outdated and aggressive and is being shunned by women, research has found. One in seven would describe themselves as a feminist with many believing they have achieved equality with men on issues like fair pay and skills. They believe single mother turned multi-millionaire author JK Rowling is a better example of a strong independent role model than feminist icon Germaine Greer. In fact, almost a third (28 percent) of British women describe the radical feminism of Ms Greer as “too aggressive” towards men and a quarter no longer view it as a positive label

As far as I'm concerned feminism was a militant organization that had the very worst intentions for women.

Feminism was a way for unappealing women to gain the upper hand over their more comely 'sisters'. Finally, the ones that were not popular in school...and I was not personally among the elites..could act out their frustrations and seek revenge. Many of us women were not popular in the ultimate high school sense but we did not grow up thinking we were supposed to dominate others. So, we learned that popularity was not the be all end all..but character, kindness, love, and faith were what counted. All things that the aggressive shemales hate because they think those traits are weak. Of course hey are actually traits of the strong person.

“WHO” you are is what is important, not “WHAT” you have.
"Feminists" and "Male Chauvinist Pigs" use their “parts” to see the world.
Time to grow up and stop using you “parts” as a substitute for your brains!

Feminism in the 1970's allowed women into the professional workplace in far greater numbers than ever before. That made a huge difference in the lives of women.
This so-called "war on women" garbage spun today is off-putting. No woman of the 1970's worried about whether Uncle Sam was going to pay for her birth control pills! The whole idea of feminism was that women could take care of themselves, thank you; they didn't need men making all the decisions in their lives. And now we have Sandra Fluke running around begging men in Washington to pay for her pills? Honey, get a real job and you can pay for them yourself. That is what feminism is about!

Exactly, #6. And now the 'feminists' have allowed zippy and the damnocrat party to reduce them to nothing more than their genitalia. No, not allowed, embraced the idea - note the Code Pinkos parading around the Republican convention with photos of their vaginas. For a group of people who wanted to not be viewed as nothing more than sex objects, they have made themselves into exactly that.

“Modern women simply don’t view men as ‘the enemy’ – instead men are their partners, their fathers, their brothers and their sons to be loved and cherished."
Forget modern women, I'm willing to be that the vast majority of women never viewed men as the enemy.

#6 is right. A lot of women walked away from the feminist movement in disgust when it became obsessed by abortion to the exclusion of anything else.

The anti-Thatcher anthem Ding Dong the Witch is Dead has seen a surge in popularity since Baroness Thatcher’s death and looks set to retain a top slot when the Official Chart Show airs on Sunday.[Snip] But the move has found support in some unlikely corners as UKIP leader Nigel Farage and Tory MP Philip Davies, who have both paid glowing tribute to the former leader, said broadcasting the song was the right thing to do. These adorable pictures show Julian Becker and his 165 pound pet Max, the shaggy Newfoundland that never leaves his best friend´s side. Five-year-old Julian´s mother Stasha started taking pictures of the odd couple every day before they got in the family car in Whidbey Island, Washington state, U.S., although both Julian and Max were born in England. With her husband away regularly in his role as a U.S. naval officer, the pictures began as a way of keeping in touch. First they purloin the savings and bank deposits in Laiki and the Bank of Cyprus, including the working funds of the University of Cyprus, and thousands of small firms hanging on by their fingertips. Then they seize three-quarters of the country’s gold reserves, making it ever harder for Cyprus to extricate itself from EMU at a later date. [Snip] Cypriots are learning what it means to be a member of monetary union when things go badly wrong. Tens of thousands of demonstrators have rallied across the US in a mass call for citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants. In Washington DC cheering crowds gathered outside the Capitol, and more than 1,000 demonstrated in Atlanta.[Snip] The push for immigration reform follows an election in which Hispanic voters overwhelmingly supported President Barack Obama and

Analysis of commercially available rice imported into the US has revealed it contains levels of lead far higher than regulations suggest are safe. Some samples exceeded the "provisional total tolerable intake" (PTTI) set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) by a factor of 120. The report at the American Chemical Society Meeting adds to the already well-known issue of arsenic in rice. The FDA told the BBC it would review the research. Lead is known to be harmful to many organs and the central nervous system.[Snip] Because rice is grown in heavily irrigated conditions, it is more susceptible

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

The most successful politicians write their own obituaries. I have read a number of Baroness Thatcher´s today and wondered whether the writers would be surprised if they were told she would probably agree with most of what was written, even in the Left-of-centre outlets. This is because successful politicians so dominate the debate on the issues they care about--which were many, in Thatcher´s case--that they determine the course of the argument including the response from opponents. They do this by defining themselves in the public imagination by what they are against rather than what they are for, and leaving only

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Whatever big-busted fantasies crawl around the ex-congressman’s delirious noggin, la Weiner made his next goal as clear as the skin of the wholesome college students he craved: He relishes being Mayor Weiner. Please, shut up this clown. These days, the genitally obsessed Weiner has nothing much to do, except sit in his lavish Manhattan apartment and — the inhumanity! — change the poopy diapers of his 16-month-old son, Jordan. Worse, Weiner is living under a kind of house arrest, sentenced to take extreme grief
