Bam’s Benghazi bull: case closed
New York Post, by Michael A. Walsh

Between President Obama and CNN’s Candy Crowley, Tuesday night’s debate seemed to “confirm” a blatant, provable falsehood — that Obama has always called the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Libya last month an act of terrorism. Please. Let’s review: After a brief statement deploring the loss of life on Sept. 12, Obama and his flunkies (Press Secretary Jay Carney, UN Ambassador Susan Rice) put on a prolonged full-court press to convince the American people that an obscure You Tube video, “Innocence of Muslims” —

Wonder if we will see some mysterious drone strike on some mysterious cave and The Won will tell us that "justice has been served".

Will anyone believe it?

Oh yea, the LSM will give us blow by blow with a Situation Room photo.

Is Shrillary still hiding in Peru?
And why does she need to go to a Womens Conference on our dime in the first place.

It's awful to have a president we cannot respect, one who twists the truth anyway he wishes. The One who called Himself ''Truth'' is coming soon. There will be a reckoning.

obama has used foreign policy/national security as a prop for his election (Muslin Brotherhood). It backfired and four Americans are dead. And now obama has the audacity to complain that others are making it political for pointing this out??

I think Obama snuck in the generalization of America not being shaken by terrorism as a CYA,knowing it was a terror attack at the time. The problem was it was just a generic statement not pointing the finger directly at the embassy attack, specifically.

It's pretty funny how this statement went over everybody's head for weeks until the debate which shows it was an innocuous.

I'm not yet convinced it wasn't a set-up to start with. Churn up some turmoil somewhere in the Middle East, blame somebody else, puff up chest, talk tough, order drone strikes, win election as protector of American values.

And just where is that video guy now? We never saw his face - at least I didn't - and I have some questions for him.

I small political intrigue here, perhaps sabotage and/or treason.

Film after election.

Folks, this Benghazi flap in the second debate is a "toofer". First it exposed the lying Kenyan trying to lie yet again with the aid of the fat girl, and second it exposed the obvious pre-debate plan between O and Candy to double team Romney. Do you think it was happenstance that she had a transcript of the rose garden

Who in the Obama camp knew about this video to begin with? Was this preplanned?

How do the Benghazi murders happen and then instantly the Obamaphiles knew about this video and blamed it?

I'd like to see Mitt show in next debate WHY Obama lied. I assume they want to say it was spontaneous to cover up the lack of security. But is there a better reason why they persisted in such a flimsy lie?

Why did Crowley have the printed transcript of the Rose Garden speech at hand? How did Obama know she had it? He specifically referred her to the transcript to verify his false claim. Then the rudest FLOTUS ever led the proscribed applause.

Supposedly, according to commenters yesterday, Candy spent the day or afternoon in the White House with the Preezy so who is surprised at how knowledgeable she was at everything. Saw the video on Hannity last night and there she is, paging through the transcript. Didn't catch it that night.

@13 I wonder if the families of those killed will get a nice check from the government for not making a stink about not getting the bodies for burial. I saw one mother on Fox who said she didn't get to see her son's body and has not been told how he died. She said they told her the caskets were already loaded and were going 'somewhere.'

Again, why did Obama ask Crowley (twice) to "look at the transcript" of the Rose Garden speech re: the use of the word terror, and why did she just happen to have that transcript with her. She had to walk it all back later, but the damage was done. And apparently, not one newsman at CNN, where she is being celebrated, had anything negative to say about her "performance"---where she interrupted Romney 28 times and usually just when he was making his point. JUST ANOTHER REASON NOT TO WATCH---or trust---CNN.

It shows what amateurs they are in the WH that they thought up this charade of lies from the beginning. They could have said .. tragic, looking into it.. obvious intelligent breakdown, yada yada .. But they couldnt help themselves, and saw an opportunity to make nice with the muslims and try to save his appeasement policies. It is all backfiring now. And there is no drone strike that can help him now. No one is gonna buy it. Not even the MSM.

His bull is working as planned, as he grits his teeth and endures the winds whirling around him. They beat the winds that would whip if the media and public were following the real narrative. al Qaeda propagandists post a year old film and whip up their cannon or in this case bomb fodder or their rioting cover? Two birds with one film?

al Qaeda has scored big with a 9-11 hit and the coup of driving the narrative of a president and a presidential election. They grow bolder and even try to change the national narrative.

The win breeds more converts as blood runs hot around the campfires of the barely civilized tribal people. Like the imps of Hell they are?

In vengence, the blood runs cold and drives purpose. It wasn't the film, they have already tired of being insulted. The riots are propaganda aimed at us. They have learned what moves us. obama responds on cue. They know his Muslim religion heart? And his ego driven head?

I commented right after this happened he had planned a Jimmy Carter replay of hostages right before the election.....to obtain release and then be glorified as his October surprise. My gut still tells me this and that it got out of control and murders happened. I have now seen articles alluding to the same scenario. Is this what he tried to do and he failed?
To me, it was one lie after another during the last debate and had the Axelrod touch in Alinsky style of personal attacks. Will this be the same format for the next debate?

The last US flag flying in Benghazi. Like painting a bulls eye on the target. Then removing security after the embassy had already been attacked 3 times in the months prior to this. No wonder Ambassador Stevens was 'concerned' for his safety. Is obama's idea of security called the 'sitting duck' style ? So much is wrong with all of this that I am just waiting for the drone attack and absoulute certainty from o that 'we got the right folks responsible' If this happens he is truly guilty of premeditated murder.

I would vote to impeach Obama even if and when he looses the election just to stop him from the damage he will do during the lame duck period before he leaves office. Expect him to sign lots of treaties handing over US sovereignty to the UN and allowing the UN to tax american citizens to redistribute their wealth to all the third world hell holes. Winning the election will be only the beginning in getting rid of Obama! The problem is the GOP in congress are gutless wonders.

Chances are a number of Libyans are going to die after an attack on the territory of Libya by Obama directed forces before the debate next Monday evening in "Operation Wag the Camel".

Since the Obama crew has leaked to the international media that special operations forces, drones, and other air power have already been put on alert, you can bet that the real perpetrators have scattered all over the region by now.

#16. I posted that concern about not being able to view the bodies on another chat forum. Someone chimed in and claimed that "once those who perished sign a contract, their bodies belong to the gov". So I don't know if they were more Obama cheerleaders, lying like usual or that is a fact. I do believe that families of returning deceased military are allowed to view the bodies. No contract should trump the concerns of friends of family!

Come on bamster-you can say it, say it with me now slowly, one syl-la-ble at a time: ter-ror-ist. You can say it, YES YOU CAN! Say, "Yes, Benghazi was a terrorist attack, on my watch. I take full responsibility for not staffing sufficient security, for not sending a rescue team, for lying about it, having my staff lie about it, from the beginning. I won't let it happen again(after Jan 13 anyway after I leave for Chicago or Kenya or Hawaii). I'm going to begin to show leadership and accept responsibility for the actions of my staff, cabinet, democrat party, etc.".

Well we can dream, can't we?

Every man and woman who works for the federal goverment which is what the four dead in Benaghazi were do not sign their bodies away (to the govt) in the event of death on duty or off. Something is not right about the fmailies not being able to view their bodies.

As for Obama and this mess, at the end of the day (Romney winning!), there is a horrible mess in the Middle East that Romney will have to deal with: the loss of Egypt to the MB, the loss of Libya to Al Qaeda, etc. We're losing Iraq as the VP failed to get a status of forces agreement with Iraq before US troops left - an excellent point brought up by Rep Ryan at his debate but not followed up by the "moderator."

I do not envy Mr. Romney.

The "smoking gun" for me was NerØbama calling it "senseless violence" on September 12.

A terrorist attack is a deliberate, planned, well thought-out, asymmetric military maneuver intended to achieve a rational (from the terrorist's point of view) objective. It is anything but "senseless".

NerØbama called it "senseless", therefore there is no way he was saying it was a terrorist attack.

Now the case is closed.

In the debate, we had a miniature of the whole campaign. BO will distort or lie about anything to be reelected. He has to because his presidency has been a complete failure.

And the MSM, portrayed here by Crowley, will back BO up by instinct, even if they KNOW, as later voiced by Crowley, that he is wrong.

This was a perfect example of bias in action. Crowley has the instincts of a decent reporter but they are overridden by her liberal bias. She just couldn't help herself. It makes the media incompetent to be a neutral reporter of events and they have gotten to the point where they don't even care if they are.

And the public knows it, as evidenced by polls about the media.

I also thought it was a set up. I think 0bama knew what questions would be asked, and he and the Fat Lady knew the Libya terrorism subject would come up, and the Fat Lady said 0bama did call it a terrorist attack, but she was definitely uncomfortable with it. 0bama was disgustingly arrogant and said, "Candy, can you say that louder." Congress should reduce O's secret service detail and only allow them to carry flashlights and billy clubs like what was provided for Ambassador Stevens.

key excerpts from 9/12/12 Obama Rose Gardne remarks..HE DID NOT CALL IT TERRORISM

-----------------
Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.
. . . .

Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks. We mourned with the families who were lost on that day. I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed. And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.

As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done

Do not miss the point here! The reason Amb. Stevens and the CIA operatives were in Benghazi in the first place was to recover the weapons the 0bama administration arranged to be given to the so-called 'rebels'. It turned out the 'rebels' WERE Al Qaida. So 0bama has been giving weapons to our ENEMY!!!! Verrrryyyy embarassing for Urkel and soooo close to the election too. This whole 'video' and 'outraged muslim uprising' spew was floated to misdirect all us rubes out here so we wouldn't ask the A#1 question:why were Amb Stevens and the three agents were in Benghazi? It's been pretty effective so far, it seems.

It's getting so ridiculous.

How many of you discussed the Benghazi killings during September with your liberal friends, who argued to the death that it was all about the video and not an act of terror and shouted you down with references to Bush or something.

Now, your liberal friends argue to the death that indeed the Rose Garden speech proved that the President and his administration told us the truth from day one (or two).

Can this get any more outrageous?

Obama's two conflicting goals are what is causing the Charlie Foxtrot level of confusion in his camp. Goal 1 is to perpetrate as much destruction as he can to American and her reputation across the world. Goal 2 is to convince the majority of voting Americans that he is presidential material so he can do it for four more years - or longer. The results are chaos, lies, coverups, failures and angry denials. I can not comprehend why he is still allowed to enter the Oval Office. Is there not one wise and powerful man in Washington who can stand up to him? (rhetorical question)

Obama is just another shyster lawyer trying to define the meaning of "terror". An act of "terror" is not a terrorist attack. This dolt is a digesting, a chronic liar and a charlatan.

Our new ambassador to LIB-Ya and posted to the Benghazi consulate should be --

Ambassador Joseph Wilson, accompanied by his CIA-expert wife, Valerie Plame...

and their first house-guests should be...
Bill and Hillary Klintoon...

just to check out the security personally and first hand for a while.
It's only fair.

Gee...
maybe something interesting will happen whilst they're all there.... ya think?
Buh-Bye!

i'm trying to understand this. apparently making fun of islam on a video is not a good thing. no good person would do such a thing. bill maher, who donated a million dollars to obama made a film called religulous, mocking all religions, the last 20 minutes of which mock islam. two questions: one, who don't muslims riot over this movie? and two, what kind of candidate would accept a million dollars from such an islamophobe?

Agree with poster 25. First thing I thought. Just like Jimmah the Carter. And all it would have taken would have been the cooperation of the Ambassador, where the goons would have held him and his people *hostage* with constant media hype for the following month, then Zero would go in on a cloud of bull, negotiate a deal, *save* the hostages and win re-election. I think the Ambassador refused, and was killed.

Liar Obama. The arrogant character knows exactly what he is doing grabbing at that straw of the word ''terror'' he mentioned unrelatedly in his Rose Garden remarks on 9/12. But, in his arrogance, he foolishly tipped his hand as to how he will going forward try and defend his specific words and actions on Benghazi. This is his third or fourth revision. And revisions are a big part of any serious Leftist's bag of rhetorical tricks. Romney needs to prepare an iron clad Benghazi indictment for the next debate, including now, Obama's latest lie about the Rose Garden.

BTW, I think we got a raw look at the true Obama, in that debate... In that Libyan exchange, when he tells Romney to ''Procede...'' you can see in Obama's face what he is at his core, a truly hateful, hellbent, ugly character. A man who is certain he's smarter than anyone else in the room, in every room. What a shocking visage he displayed for all to see as he stared at Romney.

Kathleen Sebelius is resigning, and Rachel Maddow is right to not be happy about it, not one little bit. For once, I completely agree with Maddow’s analysis. This surprise resignation presents Republicans with an unexpected opportunity to refocus the conversation on Obamacare’s negatives, offers a chance to force vulnerable Senate Democrats to take a hard vote on Obamacare six months before the midterms, and serves to disrupt what had been a positive few days of media spin for the health care law into another conversation about its many failings. About a month ago, in a conversation with a Senate Democratic

Former 5th District U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Ruston, who resigned abruptly last summer to take a job in Gov. Bobby Jindal’s Cabinet, said he won’t rule out a run for his old job next fall. Alexander, who won six terms in the U.S. House beginning with the 2002 election, said he has been saddened by the scandal that has rocked his successor, U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, and the 5th District. “I would never say anything is off of the table,” Alexander, Jindal’s secretary for veterans affairs, told The News-Star this morning. “If I felt like the people of Louisiana and the

Democrats plan to turn out thousands of African-American voters this fall, in an effort to hold the Senate majority. The challenge is that some of them aren’t yet registered to vote. Which begs the question, after opportunities to elect and re-elect the first black president, why would an African-American choose this year’s midterm elections to finally jump from the sidelines and into the game? This question especially matters given that contests in North Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Michigan and Louisiana will help determine control of the Senate. Democratic strategists believe there is low-hanging fruit in the black populations in Arkansas and Louisiana, where Democrats

A plane crash at Smolensk in Russia four years ago wiped out the Warsaw leadership. It used to be seen as an accident. Now, after Putin’s games in Ukraine, people aren’t so sure. Four years ago this week, Polish President Lech Kaczynski was killed in a plane crash near the Katyn Forest in Russia where he was flying to honor the 22,000 Polish officers, lawyers, priests and professors slaughtered there by the Soviets 70 years before. Ninety-five other military, political and public figures including his wife died on that plane. One of the more heartbreaking details to emerge was that First

Last week Hillary Clinton gave what appeared at first to be a rambling and unfocused answer when asked to name the proudest achievement of her four years as Secretary of State. The short version is, she doesn´t have one. But Clinton´s words make a lot more sense when seen not as a non-answer to a specific question but as an effort to lay the foundation and establish a theme for a presidential campaign. The occasion was her appearance on a panel discussion at the "Women in the World" meeting in Manhattan. It was pretty easy going; the moderator, New York Times

“I see lobbying,” Tony Podesta has said, “as getting information in the hands of people who are making decisions so they can make more informed decisions.” Last week the information Tony Podesta was giving was the divorce complaint he had filed in D.C. Later in the day Heather, who is also a lobbyist, informed the Post the text of her counter-suit. It published a follow-up. The documents, which you can read below, did

President Obama‘s former body man Reggie Love is — ahem — loving life. Specifically, life outside the White House. Thursday, The Mirror spotted him at lunch, dining al fresco at BLT Steak, a short sprint from the White House. If the 32-year-old was ever a tense, stressed out aide in a suit, you wouldn’t know it. He was relaxed, at ease, and sipping lemonade as he chatted away with what looked to be a longtime female friend, possibly a former coworker. So, of course, The Mirror listened in. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle.
