Candy Crowley Plays
Biggest Loser with Obama

American Thinker, by Selwyn Duke

You might think that with all the recent focus on media bias in debate moderation, Candy Crowley would have minded her p's and q's in last night's presidential debate.(Snip) Enter Crowley's Passion. She snuck into the ring, without Obama even tagging her, and hit Romney from behind with a chair while the ref, Crowley's Brain, was looking the other way. And, as was established later, she was wrong. It was, as Thomas Sowell wrote recently, a display of what Obama himself is guilty of: confident ignorance. Also striking, however,

And again why are we giving borrowed Chinese money to PBS?
When will the madness end?

Romney knows and knows that he knows. He is a wise man, follow him.

2 minutes each, allowing Obama to interrupt Mitt... then 2 minutes for discussion... between Candy & Obama!

Ya'll be nice to Candy. She had bought a new frock for the occasion, designed by Oscar de la Tenta, got her hair tinted (and acctually combed, for a change). Did you notice, though, that she was 3" taller sitting than when standing?

I love this -- It also doesn't help that media types live in a bubble of babble, associating only with other liberals and imbibing nothing beyond The New York Times and her satellites. Hey, that's the whole world, isn't it?

She hurt her cause more than she helped. As much as we complain about the debate moderators, their antics have played a big role in putting Mitt on top.

The real MEAT of this great story is near the end. Selwyn Duke has the Lib psyche nailed.

FTA: "…but the truth with the left is that they deceived themselves long before deceiving others. A prerequisite for baying your own biases is knowing they exist, and liberals don't. Being relativists, their locus of values is not without but within; thus, they quite naturally see themselves as defining reality. (snip) It also doesn't help that media types live in a bubble of babble, associating only with other liberals and imbibing nothing beyond The New York Times and her satellites. Hey, that's the whole world, isn't it?

"This is why, mind you, liberals will so often swear up and down that they're "moderates"; it's why they'll say with a straight face that there's no bias in the mainstream media."

Liberalism IS a mental disorder. Know it before you try to argue logically with one.

Ms. Crowley and CNN owes Gov. Romney and this country a huge apology. The debate commission should demand that they put an ad on every TV and radio station with an apology and an admission that Ms. Crowley not only interfered in the debate but gave out wrong information favorable to Obama, even demanded that they play the correct information. That would be just and fair!

Oscar de la Tenta...LOL. good one!

Hey, what is with these guys (Obama and Biden) making big deals about the time and even complaining about the time when they spend most of Romney's time interrupting him?? Both of the last two debates these whiners got about 3 more minutes than Romney. And half the time, all they did was repeat the same lies anyway

Reply 12 - Posted by: Spidey, 10/18/2012 3:26:45 AM     (No. 8941506)

Asking Romney howw he's different than Bush was an ambush question from hell but Romney was ready for it. By trying to help Obama they make him look weak.Different things that people say and do strike different parts of the brain. Obama got points by just looking alive but still no concrete answers on anything.Maybe Obama's hoping his homies in the inner cities issuing fatwas on Romney will help him.

It's funny how all of a sudden the US is talking about staying in Afghanistan longer. To me this is a buffer against foreign policy discussions in the next debate.

This wasn't a question from the audience. It was a Crowley/Obama setup. Watch it again for yourself. It was planned. That's Michelle clapping at the end. Watch the audience lines respond positively to Obama's huffing and puffing. ''Undecideds,'' my Aunt Fanny!

Romney was great.

The Benghazi moment was the penultimate moment of the debate, the one the BO/Crowley tag-team had prepared for so energetically.

Note Crowley's muddlig/fumbling of her lines as she declares her leader correct whilst attempting to give cover to herself by mangling an explanation that Romney was correct. Obviously, guilt and stress at work.

Liar. Liar.

Is It Harmful to Release Gang Maps?

Chicago police commissioner Garry McCarthy drew heavy criticism this summer when crime statistics showed, in mid-June, that homicides were up 38 percent over the previous year. When the rise in murders first became noticeable, back in March, McCarthy announced the city would conduct a so-called "gang audit" to help police get a handle on the problem. The audit found that Chicago now has some 625 gang factions — up from 500 about a decade ago, according to Chicago magazine. In the aftermath of the audit WBEZ took steps to compile an interactive map of gang territory throughout the city.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
