| Michelle Obama and Ann Romney both appeared to be going after the women's vote at the second presidential debate with an obvious fashion choice. The First Lady wore a coat-style, hot pink dress while Mrs Romney wore a shift with capped sleeves in exactly the same shade. The wives of the presidential candidates took their seats as their husbands appeared on stage at Hofstra University in New York on Tuesday. Scroll down for video -Twitter users suggested that both wives had chosen the color to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Okay, I admit I didn't read the article--the headline says it all, right?
Yes, we women are so shallow that now we are confused as to whom we should vote for, since both wives wore pink. I mean, like, if only Ann had worn green or something, I could maybe vote for Mitt.
Now, I just don't know who to vote for...

The outfits were not "identical". They were identically hot pink. I was relieved that they don't use the same designer. However, Ann would have paid for hers and we would have paid for Michelle's.

I'm amazed to learn that MO's designer knows how to set in sleeves. Why was that skill not on display about 4 years ago?
I have to say that in the picture of the kiss after the debate, the Romney's look like a long-time happy couple. That looks more like a "welcome back to our home" kiss that is an expression of affection that come easily and unforced.

The writer needs to get her eyes checked. Identical means exactly the same. Both were pink. Ann Romney's was a well-fitted sheath dress in azalea pink. Mooch's was another tight hot pink dress with a teensy bolero jacket. She is 6 feet tall and rather bulky. Teensy bolero jackets do not go with hulking women.
I am not crazy about "statement necklaces", as they are known now. They wear the woman instead of the other way around. So this was a miss in my book.

Mooch's getup was described as being "neon pink" by her fansite.
I remember when neon colors were worn by surfers on our beaches. I could never, ever associate it with style, elegance.
Azalea pink is pretty and feminine. Neon is bright and garish, glaring.

CNN national security analyst Peter Bergen told host Jake Tapper on Monday that the explosions in Boston could be the work of Al Qaeda terrorists as much as they could be part of a planned assault by “right-wing extremists.” Bergen said he was reminded of the Oklahoma City bombing, and that terrorism on the right could not be ruled out. Tapper asked Bergen if he thought there was a terrorist element behind the attack, to which Bergen replied that this event reminded of the 1995 attack on a federal building in Oklahoma City.

Since he first became a presidential candidate, President Obama must have spent millions of dollars in legal expenses to combat dozens of so-called "birther" challenges seeking the original documents pertaining to his birth. As president, he famously issued an electronic document on the White House website in 2011; the document purported to be his long-form birth certificate, though it is apparently a forgery. In addition, he has taken great pains to hide the paper trail of passport records, college transcripts, and other data -- all of which a prospective employer might require of a job applicant.
