I thought Mitt was better at this style of debate than Obama was. And even if he was not stellar on the Libya question, his lack of hitting it out of the park is enough to keep it in the news. Plus he drew the President out into a lie.

Can't really blame him for pausing in a moment of self doubt when the moderator inserts herself and tells him obama os right. What is a candidate to do? Fight with them both and get down and roll on the floor with both in a head lock?
If he was still sure of his facts but caught off guard by Crowley, he still gets credit for poise and not going for a win by disputing her and possibly being wrong. I doubted my own knowledge when she piped up. I knew he had not said same next day and for a week and Crowley made a definite assertion (unprecedentedly IMO).
Romney has to give obama the handicap of a partisan activisst moderator for his "win"? LOL and shake my head at the state of our once respected 4th estate.
Like every doctor wants to be a millionair, every news person, or most liberal ones, want to be media movie stars--the in crowd, the beautiful people of the news world, the hip and the cool and with the hip and cool common or pop narrative. The news trend setters?

Obama and Biden have made a mockery of this country since taking over,so why wouldn't that carry over into the debates.Obama hiding under Hillary's skirt on Benghazi really made hm look weaker than he already did. It shows how insecure this guy is about taking any blemishes on his record. The problem is he never fooled anybody with his attempts to cover up a lie or gaffe.
When people in a country condition themselves to accept compulsive lying from the president,it shows how far we've sunk the past 4 years.

Realize that to most Americans, Fast and Furious and BenghaziGate are unfamiliar, or at best, unaware of all the pertinent facts and concerns, like us political smarties here.
Therefore, for both Fast and Furious and BenghaziGate, I think Mitt's purpose at this second debate was to introduce these outrages to the larger, less attentive American people. Next Monday, he can give both --- especially Benghazi --- the full treatment they deserve.

The topic of drilling permits was a total disgrace. Obama stands there and baldface lies to 70 million Americans (# of permits are higher). Romney contradicts obama says not true. And obama can just stand there and fabricate numbers like that.
Disgraceful for obama, and disgraceful for all the media. After the debate, Chris Wallace states obama is wrong (fact checkers looked it up) and they just moved on. Why is not Chris Wallace outraged by this. All the rest of them too. Krauthammer says obama probably won on points, even though obama is a cheating liar. All of these people are a disgrace.

Obama is a pathological liar. He just makes sure that his lies are said forcefully and with conviction. But that doesn't make them any closer to the truth. Obama has the audacity to say that Romney is a liar and his information is all wrong. When in truth, he is just projecting his own lies and his own false propaganda on others. Typical leftist. Sorry for the double post, but one fact not being reported regarding the use of federal lands is that the federal government has been purchasing millions of acres of energy-rich land since Obama was elected. That means that more barrels of oil could be produced under a smaller percentage of permits, so the units of an argument are very important to understanding what is being claimed.

Obama is a performance artist. Tonight for him was all about scoring debating points and pushing back at Romney to motivate his base, and truth be damned. No plan, no solutions.
The Biden debate fiasco and Obama's performance tonight were all about base motivation. They have put together an enormous GOTV operation in what they consider to be the firewall state, Ohio. With all the early voting, they are running Ohio like Card Check. You just go out every day and convince, cajole, buy off ever more voters. Then you go out the next day and do more of it. Day after day. They are creating an Ohio electorate unlike any in history. Folks who never vote, folks who could care less about voting, folks who are too drunk, strung out or crazy for voting, folks who know nothing about the issues, dug up daily by the Obama GOTV operation. A massive amoral GOTV operation totally unencumbered by basic ethics. All for the higher good of delivering that pivotal state for Obama.
With early voting Ohio is a unprecedented CardCheck electorate for the Dems. It may cost us the election and Early Voting needs to be eliminated. It corrupts the process.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
