| CNN correspondent and second presidential debate moderator Candy Crowley disgraced herself tonight, repeatedly intervening to save a floundering President Obama and showing why many Americans were rightfully suspicious of her ability to moderate a presidential debate fairly. Her most outrageous act tonight was her incorrect seconding of Obama's statement that he declared the Libya terrorist attacks to be "terror." While Obama did indeed use the word, this is not what he meant by it. Instead, he was simply referring to "acts of terror." There was no mention of Al Qaeda or any of its affiliates with respect

Romney missed a wonderful opportunity by failing to ask mr barack a simple question about the benghazi murders.
"If you believed, at that point, that the murders were terrorist acts, why did you send Susan Rice to the sunday morning news shows, and have her say that the murders were caused by that videotape? And why did you then go to the UN and make a speech which included 6 references to the videotape, but O references to terrorist attacks??"
Candy, around midnight, admitted that she was wrong.

Crowley picked the questions, half of the questioners were Liberal Plants all serving up softballs for Obama on Liberal issues and she cut off Romney at least 5 times and gave Obama 3 more minutes -- Liberal Moderators have now given Obama over 7 minutes more time than Romney.
Axelrod has used the DOJ to intimidate and poison any legitimacy Gallup had and corrupted this process beyond recognition.
And Crowley was an absolute disgrace.
This whole thing was rigged, it was pathetic.
Romney should have kicked Obama's skinny tail on Benghazi but has the next debate to bury him and he will.

She blew it. Thankful she did. Just shows what conservatives have been up against with the liberal MFM for years now. The fact Anderson Cooper called her out for it makes the salt in her would hurt that much more. Bullies....yep..two against one and even with that ratio the Gov did hold up well. Just as Jim Lehrer gave Gore a leg up in the 2000 debate by letting him act like a clown Candy did Obama no favor. For the next 5 days he must defend his post Sept 11th cover up and it will now become the big topic for next Tuesday's debate--it is not something Obama wants to discuss.
Candy put her thumb on the scale and it puts the weight on Obama's back.
Romney's chance will come next week folks.

It seems very odd that President Obama has made gun control the signature issue of his second term, so far. He can’t possibly achieve any significant legislation; a few tweaks to the background check system, maybe, but there is no chance of getting any meaningful gun control through the House. The House Democrats aren’t even trying. So it also seems strange that all eyes are on the Senate, where Harry Reid will unveil some sort of gun legislation–no one knows what, exactly–on Thursday. The party’s left-wing base is lining up behind the bill, sight unseen.

In a poll conducted by PoliceOne, a majority of law enforcement personnel said universal background checks, "assault weapons" bans, and "high capacity" magazine bans do not make police safer and will not lower violent crime. Armed citizens, on the other hand, do make a positive difference. In the poll of 15,000 law enforcement professionals, 71% of respondents said an "assault weapons" ban would have zero impact on violent crime. Of those surveyed, 95.7% said the same of a "high capacity" magazine ban, and 79.7% said the same in response to a question on universal background checks.
